I'm having the hardest time coming up with a plot for my story.
>I have a very detailed scifi setting (been working on for 2years) >VERY detailed characters (dozens ready to go) >adventure scifi with some romance
Already have a ton of things in mind to writr about. Like its mainly gonna focus on one character and his POV, what he goes through and how he grows as a person. But....where is my plot?
ive been thinking for MONTHS! How can i get past this block? Help!!!! What did you do to get past theses sort of blocks. Any advise?

Blake Snyder's Beat Sheets changed my life! LOL Seriously though, beat sheets are an awesome plotting tool, because they tell you what you need (in general terms) and that will help you organize what you have.
This site url=http://jamigold.com/for-writers/worksheets-for-writers/[/url] has a variety of worksheets for writers, if you are interested, including a few different beat sheets.
The beat sheets have been a huge help to me. I had several stories started, with solid concepts, but I was struggling with plot. Since coming across the beat sheets in October 2014, I've managed to develop nearly completed plots for two of my stories (One of which I'd been working on unsuccessfully since 2006... Yeah.) and I have five more stories that are halfway there.
Anyway, I hope you find my suggestion useful. I know the frustration of having an good idea that just will not cooperate.
