I just wanted to say that I really like the new cookies in the cash shop, but I think there should be an even amount of male and female wigs when they add stuff like this, because male wigs are already so hard to come by and it seems like females have so many more clothing items than males do. I'm sure there's probably more girls that are on the site and it might seem like they would wanna have more clothing options and change their avatars more, but I really enjoy changing up my avatar and I wish there were more male items. The new male wig out of the cookies is really nice, and they should make more!

Shoutout to the artists of subeta who draw up all the items though, you guys are very creative and talented! Keep up the good work, you guys make subeta awesome.

Male items are less popular than female items and sell less than female items.

This is why there are more items designed for females.

That makes sense. Well I could understand cash shop items having less male options in that case, but I still think there should be more male items for normal restocking shops at least.

You should make a topic in Suggestions and Ideas about the type of men's wear or hair you think should be made.

You know, that's definitely true. I feel like people use excuses like that a lot for different things (I'm trans and we aren't very represented in the media because people are afraid of us, lol, nothing will 'sell' if we're included). That's a very true statement.

That's actually not a bad idea. I think I'll do that because I have tons of ideas of things I wish were clothing (and I'm not talented enough to turn them into CW). Thanks for that idea!

While this is true and I will once again add to it and help out, that has been an argument MANY times over... And the same board, with the same suggestions, has been made multiple times over.

• Suggestions have been added to the boards each time. Alyssa did a great job in turning a handful of the suggestions into hair coupons. But every time the board is made it kinda gets ignored. And then we're told that the artists need suggestions. So it's made again. Hello cycle, you are round.

Hmm, well maybe there isn't much of a point in making a new suggestion board? If they usually just get ignored or have the same suggestions over and over...is there possibly a more direct approach to send suggestions instead of making a board for it?

I love the artists, I do, and I mean no disrespect. Some of the fault also falls on Subeta users. The artists have done a fair amount of longer wigs that aren't overly femme and can be worn by more masculine HA's, but the users equate long to "female" ... And I've bitten back at people suggesting that. Guys look awesome with long hair.

Yeah I'm cool with using long hair for wigs, I just have a hard time finding ones that aren't super curly or girly looking aha, but I've been more focused on shorter wigs, so I haven't paid much attention to the long ones. Speaking of which, I'll probably go do that now.~

Do compare male and females wigs coming from the same sources, you'll notice that most male wigs sell in shop search for less than female wigs. If the demand was equivalent, yeah, I'd understand where you came from. But, the demand is not the same. Most people prefer female wigs. Therefore, to maximize profits, Subeta prefers making a majority of female wigs.

The male wig is worth 59.5% of the female equivalent.

= lowest : 515 000 SP = lowest : 12 000 000 SP

You know, when the male equivalent of a female wig is worth 23 times less, maybe there is a message to grab.

Female Fringe coupons sell, on average, for higher than their male equivalents in user shop, and are more in demand. Is it possible, maybe, that it is not a conspiration against men, but rather, than the moneymaking is done with a majority of female items?

It's not an excuse. It's supply and demand. The demand for female wigs is FAR SUPERIOR than it is for male wigs.

Yeah, more male wigs would be cool, but right now, people are not buying them when they're released. They're not going to buy them more if there is more.

I can see it from both points of view, I understand the business aspect of it and that you guys need to make money off of the items so you can keep the site going. That makes sense. But I also see it from 's point of view, because it's true, it is used as an excuse in a lot of cases. I see it both ways. So maybe there's a median to this? I understand you need to make money off of items that go into the cash shop, and that there are way more females out there and the female items are going to sell better than the male items. So I'm just suggesting maybe we should add some more male items in general, just to the main sP shops and such. Nothing that has to be super fancy and have a ton of work put in it, just some simpler items that have a more masculine style to them. I'm not asking for much, I don't expect super spectacular stuff to just show up, I know the artists have to put their time into the creation of every item. I'm just saying that maybe there should be a few more male items added into the main shops. Then you can continue to make more money off of the female items in the cash shop and we can still have some more simpler male items added to the site. Then...everyone's happy, right?

They release an equal amount of male and female Fringe Coupons quarterly, and when it was random the male ones always ended up way cheaper. Some ended up less than a mil, and this is a CS item.

Just a couple random other items, like the two tone candy wigs and things like that. Those you buy in the main shops, with sP, and they're simple. That's what I'm talking about. I'm not asking for fancy cash shop items, I'm asking for simple main shop sP items just so when building my avatar, there's more options to use.

So I UNDERSTAND why it is how it is, I was just suggesting that they should add some more male items. Hence the reason it's in the suggestions forum. I'm talking about all clothing items in general, and not only cash shop, I'm talking general stores as well. Pretty much this as well. I would love to know the stats on transformable wigs as well, how many of each female/male version are around. Things like the Fleur de Lys charm from that old DP a long time ago.

It's not personal. Just, it's been known for years that males get shafted in the item department because they are a minority and, when male items are released, they get ignored. Same with male oriented SubQ and Delish lines, they seem less popular than female ones.

No I meant to put it in site feedback, because originally I was trying to give feedback about the new cookies in the cash shop. I made a comment about wishing there were more male items though, and I think this thread turned into more of an argument about that rather than just saying I liked the new cash shop cookies. Is there a way I can move this to suggestions? I guess it would probably belong there now.

And I understand that, there's no problem with knowing the stats and making items accordingly. I understand the site makes stuff that the users want, and most of the users are female. I understand that, so no issue there. It was just an idea, nothing more. :3
