I sign up for mysterious melody around midnight, but I go to bed shortly after. Sometimes, I have time to go and send items. Sometimes, I don't. I do it at midnight because cottage resets at midnight and i don't want to be spoiled, and if i don't check the ruffie raffle at midnight, i'm going to forget about that as well.

If I don't send someone items in the first few hours, then assume I'm a moocher and send me a passive-aggressive message to "hey, send me items too!" There is no pleasure there, just a desire to tell them to die in a fire.

Lol. Please do not misunderstand, I am so happy to send gifts to friends and non-friends. It is fun to do so. I just mean that the idea of Mysterious Melody is a "mystery" exhange, and if one sends somthing then maybe the other person should send as well. because supposedly that s what they signed up for. A message like that is rude,If you are participating only to try and gain things then don't bother. Lumi is about giving to others and being in the spirit of the holiday not about focusing on what you get out of it in the end.
