The new BGs without an HA cutout and the new wardrobe that allows for us to layer the BG on top of or underneath the actual HA is just brilliant! I hope that this can open a whole new era of BGs where the cutout is no longer needed and we can have solid BGs to play around with. I've been hoping for solid BGs for AGES as there have been a number of times where I wanted JUST the BG and no HA but had to deal with the cut-out and it seems like they may be coming. Thank you is all I can say! :D
ahhhh this is my dream come true!!! I've always wanted HA-cutout-less bgs, because I want to use companions on backgrounds/scenes.
Will this be allowed for CWs ?

That's correct - you'll no longer need to cut out the HA from backgrounds for submission :D

YAY! I'm so glad you did the moveable base! I never suggested it in the feedback forum, but I discussed it several times with a few friends and particularly with solid backgrounds, so this is amazing.
Unfortunately, past backgrounds already have the cutout and it would be nice if there was a way to fix it so that you could edit/resubmit those backgrounds as full without the cutout, but I'm sure that's too complicated.
Either way, yay Love this. ^-^
Just as a quick note - I am super excited about having the option to do full bgs now, but while they do make new options available, you are trading off the ability to use a background cutout to tailor bulky clothing pieces into slimmer ones. I know it's a trick I've used in past HAs and I'm sure some of you have as well. So that may be something to keep in mind when deciding whether to make a background solid, or cutout!
