45 mil for 1 k csc is horrifyingly costly. Please curb csc inflation!
Black Friday always makes CSC go crazy in price. The price has been hovering around 18.5mil per 500 so the recent spike is likely caused by this.

It's the black friday effect, aggravated by the fact that it's the last time pet slots will be on sale. Csc will only go up until the end of the sale :x Should slowly go back to normal afterwards.
I mean, if the staff wants, they could perhaps do those stripe/paypal bonuses.
Barring that, just gotta fight through it.
Or they could put 500 csc in the token shop again. Which they wont do anyway =_=
Putting the cards in the TS does directly reduce their profits so it's no wonder they don't do it often. Each card that they give out without an actual purchase is $5 out of their pocket. Prices should go back to normal before too long, though will likely remain a bit higher than usual during the holidays because of being bought for gifts and what not.
It still cots the same amount as it always did - $5. I know not everyone can purchase it with cash, but it's not like they made the cards cost more all of a sudden.

Delay your purchases after black friday because it's the only reason why everything is expensive.
I didn't notice until a friend mentioned tonight how inflated CSC is, but I also assumed it was because BF is approaching. I'm probably going to do as said and wait until after BF to purchase anything, because I've waited too long to gather up a CSC hoard and don't see myself managing to do that before next week (since I only buy CSC with sP right now). I was really surprised to see that 500CSC cards have gone up so high in sP price, but I guess that's to be expected this time of year.
I'd love to see 500 CSC cards in the Token Shop again, but that's highly unlikely before BF :P
But the prices will probably go back to normal after it, so it's not a big problem yet, I guess.
^unless csc doubles its "usual price", 50% off items will still end up costing cheaper despite the inflated prices.
If the items you need arent in the sale, then yea, just wait.
Ah I knew there had to be a reason, black Friday sale makes perfect sense. Now that I think of it, same thing happened last year and the price did come back down after it. Just gotta wait it out. :)
Delaying purchases and not profiting from the sale will eventually cost more in the long run. The price of most items halves during BF, so even though csc looks 3m more expensive, it really is 8? Or so millions cheaper.
And that's in sP. For everyone buying it with real money, which, if you recall correctly, pays for every single update and news post on Subeta, it's been costing the same for years, except nowadays they get much more from it. I mean, 10 bux. Isn't that what you make in half an hour of washing dishes ?
This issue is a no issue. Sounds more like a perk.

The higher the price goes, the more likely people are to spend real money to purchase it. It's good for the site, imo.
Come again ? Who is so screwed by this situation they can't balance it out with all the good it does ?

Which part of "everything is going to be cheaper come the sale" didn't get across ? That's the only reason the price suddenly skyrocketed
you're gonna be....... wait for it.......... saving money!

spend more to save more, that is sound logic .
My point is that unfortunately, I really don't see staff doing anything about it. I'm not saying I like this, but I do see the business sense.
