There are times when I buy a and I wonder, why can't we just buy treasure chest slots directly for 50k a pop or so. We already spend 150k for the box and if you get 3 slots that's 50k a piece anyway. I know that you aren't guaranteed 3 slots that way, but I know for a fact if I could buy x amount of boxes at a time I would spend so much sP and that's a major sP sink regardless. The 12 hour wait at the Millionaire Center is a major annoyance too because sometimes I plum forget to buy one due to the long wait time. We can already buy human avatar slots with CSC and layer slots directly from the beta wardrobe for sP and we can also directly buy both User/Pet name changes and Pet slots without the use of an item for CSC directly. So why not treasure chest slots too?

Supporting this... I agree the wait time is very annoying, and it really really sucks when you only get 1 space. If we could buy TC slots directly for 50k I would. Think of all the sP that would move from the system at once if people could buy dozens - hundreds of slots, for EACH pet they have. That's like... Millions. Billions if everyone bought like that.

I would love to buy TC slots directly. The time limit seems like an unintentional consequence of them being in the MC.

As long as the site doesn't have an actual reason for it (like concerns about pets geeting huge TCs but how is that even a problem) I totally support this !

I support this, seeing the site seems to want to move away from having random items do things.

I'd still want to see the actual boxes come back at some point, if only as sort of a "legacy" / more expensive item so they don't disappear when IH or someone else asks for them / as TC fodder themselves c: Those are my usual concerns about availability, though. I definitely support TC slots being directly purchasable from the pets page! More intuitive, better sp sink, all that.

I also support that. They could do similar to the pet slot plushies, keep them around but remove the function.

I would really like this. I personally need a ton of slots for one of my pets but I keep putting it off due to the wait times. Eep.

Yes please, I wouldn't mind this. Plus if you want a pet with a certain TC amount... taking the gamble with the MKBs is not something you want to do. This would be perfect for fleshing out a TC how you want. Total support.

This topic came up once before and I fully support this idea. :'D I can't even begin to tell you how many items I have stashed in my vault and galleries for pet TCs. I can never get around to putting the stuff into the TCs because getting slots is such a hassle.

This would be great, as long as they don't make it a csc-only thing. Some of us are currently unemployed and would probably cry if this too was csc-only.

i'm in absolute support of cutting out the middleman. however, i'd suggest that rather than just removing the MKB's function and immediately making the switch, maybe give us a week's worth of warning to use up any collective stores of MKBs. not so much for myself, but i know friends of mine who acculumate hundreds of these things at a time, and it would be kind of a slap in the face if they were all immediately rendered useless investments.

alternatively: make the switch, but give us a place to turn in/destroy existing MKBs en masse for the same flat rate we buy them from at the MC (150k)

I totally support. I also support 's idea of being able to turn in current MKBs for the slots. I would personally like to keep the MKBs around, just for TC items and such. Might as well keep them (and in the MC), but also just give us a place to directly buy the treasure slots as well. Gives us a better sP sink, more access to slots, and still keeps the item around and functional.

I personally want treasure slots to become account-bound, not pet bound.

A individual pet could never get under a certain number of slots, to avoid pound farming. But I have a pet with over 1000 slots for a TC I decided to dispatch and put in a gallery instead because TC ARE SHIT TO ARRANGE. So, I have over 1000 wasted slots.

I think if this where the case the price would need to be raised at least 50%. Right now, the boxes sell pretty fast at ~230k ea on the shop search. It'd be great if it could be made as much of an sP sink as reasonably possible since individual people would be buying them en masse instead of a lot of people buying em one at a time and reselling...

Supporting this too.

I feel like the MKBs are outdated in their concept. People begged and begged for a way to increase slots outside of random events and this was the result during a time when Subeta's servers couldn't handle much more than 500 users at a time. We've increased the amount of items our inventory will load, taken the limit off trades and have yet to put any limit on the amount of items we can have in our vault or wardrobe. It seems silly to keep the deterrents that were put in place to stop people from having large TCs (they didn't really work anyway).

Yes yes yes yes yes yes. Please do this. I know it was suggested before, but it needs to happen.

But not for this "I think if this where the case the price would need to be raised at least 50%"

50K is good. Yes. Please.

The price for one slot should be 75K and not 50K, though.

The average yield for a MKB is 2 slots, not 3.

I wasn't sure if it'd be a good idea to keep them at 50k a slot or not, that's why I added or so. I'd be happy with 75k for a slot. If I'm not mistaken, that's how much a wardrobe layer costs too and I'm perfectly happy with that.

If this does get implemented I would like a warning about when they'll stop functioning as treasure slots and just for collecting, that's perfectly understandable.
