The gate is locked. You put Snowflaik down, and she runs straight into Skelly Manor.
Every other year you got a reward for returning her. This year there's nothing? :/ Yeah, I know there's the achievement for the first time you return her, but...

You could have had Ian meet you at the gate, or Snowflaik comes running back out with Jaxon's wallet or something.
It seems silly to remove the sP reward just because it doesn't exactly fit the story.
I mean Genetech Lab didn't close down during the plot -- Ian was in two places at once the whole time and that was never an issue.

That...is really unfair. Like said - Snowflaik could've come back out with Jaxon's wallet or a pouch of sP or something as a thank you and then go running back in again. Just returning her this year without any kind of sP reward is rather harsh :/
Maybe even a ghost could've come out of the ground as Jaxon's messenger with an sP reward...:/
Lol, I wouldn't have trusted the cat to run back to the manor. For all I know, Snowflaik could have ran back into the patch and gotten lost again. Should have stole something while you were in the manor.

While I get the whole 'no sP since no one is there right now with cash anyway' thing (I agree it shouldn't have been removed though), I think it is important to state somewhere more prominent that there is ONLY the achievement prize and that you only get it ONCE. I feel bad for people who returned Snowflaik but already had the achievement and didn't know that there was no other prize this year.
I'm just thankful I already had the achievement and my Snowflaik is sitting around with one of my pets right now. lol
I don't see how it's unfair. The newspost says "receive the achievement." It doesn't even hint at any other reward. Yes, things have been done in the past, but why does it have to be the same every single year? Unless I missed something, we didn't even have the same normal battle opponents as in previous years. It just kinda seems greedy demanding a sP reward for doing something when there's already an advertised achievement attached to it.
It doesn't have to be the same every year. But if you make a change, it's nice to let people know exactly what it is ahead of time so they know what to expect. Nothing wrong with being as clear as possible.
rofl THIS ...I mean we already stole jaxon's handmade ian plushie and cash from his vault (no he would totally not notice its missing ofc not, can you imagine how much he treasured that plushie to have it in a freaking vault??), you could totally take snowflaik to the door at least and then idk find money / something valuable you'd pocket as well because why not

Of course, if Snowflaik came back, I would kidnap her and just return her next year for double the reward. Pft, being helpful and doing things out kindness, yeah right. : P

Haha, oh yeah, that's right, he already hates people enough without them kidnapping his minion. Ian and Jaxon would have to search the patch themselves though when Snowflaik inevitably gets lost again if outsiders are banned....unless I'm the only who gets banned since I'm the one who kidnapped the cat. I'd use an alter-ego when I'm asking for the ransom though. Unless he's omniscient being a ghost and all. FINE. I won't kidnap his cat. I'll just sulk after doing something nice. :P

I mean I've always seen rewards with lost pet posters in RL and it was nice that the same was done here. It's just a little disappointing that it wasn't stated clearly in the news post that you wouldn't be getting sP this year. Sure it mentioned the achievement but it's pretty much a known given for returning Snowflaik the first time, unless you're a newbie.
Normally, though, a reward is given for the return of a beloved pet. It's just a bit of a disappointment.
