Many battle opponents have special rules. This includes no freezing, no defense, no stealing, no healing, no blessings... probably others. Wouldn't it be nice if you could hover over the picture of the opponent and it lists which of these rules were active? This would clear up any questions newer battlers have about why their phoenix quill is broken and stuff like that. Honestly I can't keep track of the rules for each opponent and it'd be nice for new opponents too.
Good thinking. Sometimes I forget who disables what.

Nice idea but I think the admins like us to go test out new challengers and find out the hard way :D But even so it would be nice to have a hover.

I find it fun to battle each opponent and find out for myself. Besides, a hover over wouldn't include things like blessings that block freezing or stealing etc. There are guides on the forums, as well as some offsite (MrCool's blog for example) which list what the opponents have disabled, as well usually as a list of their weapons and blessings etc, which overall are much more informative than just a hover over if you want information on how to build a set/strategize for a particular opponent.
This would be a nice feature, if it could be implemented and didn't make fights lag more.
My problem with the guide on forums is that it isn't kept up very well. Most images are broken last I checked, and it can be hard to navigate. I don't really need help with sets or anything, I am quite knowlegable in set building. I just want a reminder. Also I don't really like going offsite to find guides except for lodge. I tend to be overly careful
I don't think blessings and stuff should be posted, just the special rules. They are sometimes less obvious and just for clarity sake, I would like them posted. They could even be small images on the challenge page.
a hover over i wouldnt like, but when you select a challenger to fight and use the "choose weapons" (instead of battle with default weapons) maybe they can write it under the picture of the challenger something like " you cannot freeze this guy" or " stealing disabled"
