So, now we have had the excellent 'name exchange' feature added - I would love to see the same feature made available to swap stats on pets as well, for the same price, 750csc ^^

People currently adopt pets because of good stats, the same way you might for a good name or colour and both of those can be changed so why not stats too.
There are some challengers who give loot based by pet, rather than achievement. If this were to happen, people with a strong pet are suddenly going to have 12(or however many pets they happen to have) times all the best loot. Or, come events like morostide, I only need to beat Rouland one time with each pet, rather than getting 10 wins from my strongest pet.
Unless this was super cost prohibitive, then to me it wouldn't make sense to me.

I don't think this would work since you'd be able to get multiple loots training just one pet. And some of the loots of the biggest opponents are worth a lot more than 750csc. The only way I can see this working is that you aren't able to get a challenger's loot again if you got it before with the pet you're changing the stats with. Since if they make it super expensive, people would hardly use it.
- I don't quite understand what that means by pet rather than achievement. Do you mean if they have higher stats they get different loot when defeated than if they are defeated by lower stats? I don't battle tons so I'm easily confused ^_^;

Tbh, battling and loot hadn't occurred to me..it was mainly for switching IDs and stats around. So yea,maybe it won't work shrugs
i get UN and pet name , its totally legit . its first come first get & stay away/ discard pet and loose said names. but literally swapping stats of others pets , did you earn them stats ? no you didnt , that is stealing.
Oh man, I thought for a minute this was a Site Update ping and almost lost it. Do not support at all, not even a little bit, nope. I have a capped pet, so I could just stat swap him with each of my 11 other pets, and bam, 11 more copies of each type of loot available right now. Multiply that by every other user who has a big pet and some spare cash, and the entire battle system gets totally screwed up.

I'd prefer if we were only able to re-stat a pet but not exchange stats between them. I see myself farming low level pets and putting those stats on my 2nd pet to bypass the training time and cut down on the cost of buying boosters. I'd pay csc to re-stat a pet.

I like the idea in principle, but unless loot drops were changed to 1 per account or something (please no!) there would be too much capacity for abuse.

While I would love to do this to put my strongest pets on my lowest IDs, ot would also have to include books read/food eaten and I'm not sure if that's dooable?
That and how exactly would wins be tied to the stats? Unless it was possible to have stats/books/food/wins and losses transfered there is just waay to huge of a margin for abuse because 750 csc is change compared to the potential of event/plot related loot.
I can see that the loot thing is an issue now I understand what people were saying. If there were a way to tie wins and loot to stats then it could still work but I doubt that is possible.
I'm confused about the loot issue. If I'm understanding this right, certain challengers drop loot based on the number of pets you have? How does that tie into the stats of each pet?
In response to the suggestion, I'd like to be able to transfer stats I've spent time and money gaining (via training or boosters). I've got a second battle pet, but it is currently on hiatus. I'm not sure I will ever get back to training it. I hate seeing those stats go to waste. However, I do see problem areas: 'farming' pets for their stats, rotating stats through pets to gain extra loot, etc.
If this were ever implemented, the loot system may have to be redone (which I'm sure would be more hassle than its worth).

I thought about this once but I didn't know there were certain things tied to pets that would make it hard to do this. I was considering switching two of my pets completely, name, species, color, profile, everything. (main reason being I'm doing something different with his character and he had too many TC spaces that I'd love to use on someone else). But it was my battle pet. And to switch him with someone else and have the new pet really beefed up didn't make sense to me to I left it alone.
Challengers drops their special loot when you defeat them 5 times with a single pet. The problem with the suggestion is that you could get the loot with one pet, then change the stats to another that was never trained, defeat the challenger 5 with the new pet, and get the loot again. You could even adopt a pet, get the loot, and abandon it. That would pretty much give you the possibility to get hundred of copies of the items if you have the time.
While I understand the reason behind wanting this, this can be a hard in too many ways.
The only way to make it work is if you penalize heavily. Ie on top of the csc cost. You penalize the pet via a 10% overall stAt reduction, maybe more.
And Perhaps tie top loot to achievements and make it x wins with same pet. But
