Even though switching stats seems impossible, it might be possible to have pet's switch IDs maybe (I know taunted me with something to that effect once xD)?
Currently wins are tied to an account not the pet so if you ditch/adopt out a pet the new owner starts fresh. That always seemed silly to me (and caused issues hence the 10% stat loss if a pet is over 2k stats), but if wins/losses were first tied to an ID then they were programmed to be left with the stats that could work maybe?
Like if I had these two pets:
ID: 5 (common, 10 evens) ID: 654321 (gold, capped, 6k foods)
If we switched IDs then 5 would become gold/capped/6k foods and 654321 would be common/10 stats? But that'd only work if wins/losses were tied to an ID and were programmed to switch along with everything else.
I'd pay a lot more than 750csc for that, but idk if it's possible or worth the trouble |D
it is if what you want says 'i dont want you, i want all of yours'. 750 csc is what around 8 levels worth of stats for which any one should be able to take 'n' no of stats for an abandoned/inactive account , even your own pets. Why stop there , for a nominal fee why not just help oneself to some other pets color/species combo , their layout/storyline/custom overlay and their humungous tcs? Its one thing to adopt a pet where you are actually making room for one and quite a different thing to transfer only non-tangible assets of a pet to a different pet.
- I don't really understand why you are calling it stealing nor why you have such a bee in your bonnet about it. Everyday pets are adopted because of their colour/species, stats, name or tc slots. In the case of names you can, literally, take the name from the pet you adopt by renaming it and then casting it aside again. As for the other attributes, people will disown their own pets to make space for more desirable non-tangible assets. They haven't worked to gain those assets are they stealing? Layout/storyline/custom overlay can be transfered between your pets by copy and pasting to your new pet, surely that isn't stealing.
