Why did they change them to so big? It just confuses me a little. Also now username hovers are not working for mex.x

I don't like it.

It's taking longer to load right now. I'm not sure if the site is the cause of it. I also don't like that there's a lot of wasted space on some of the hovers now, mine for example has my given name simply as "Liz" and then there's a huge gap.

For me, they seem to be loading faster than they were before. The rest of the site has been lagging for two days, though. The server restarts haven't helped much. :/

One thing that's bothering me is that on the user hovers don't include usernames. It might seem redundant if you're hovering over their username, but it still feels important enough to include.

Anyone know if there is a way to turn off the loading symbol before the hover loads?

When I'm moving a bunch of stuff in my inventory around I right click on them and open in new link. Before this was never and issue since nothing popped up right away. Now though I quickly get a hover symbol that appears above my mouse then the hover appears below the mouse (which is weird and jumpy) and it's making it a bit harder to right click on items quickly.

I also think the description text should be a bit bigger, it's hard to read being so tiny.

Oh, I won't begin to go into that other than to say that I'm loving that the achievement counts are still off (by over twenty in my case) and I've run into more errors today than I have in quite a while.

I wasn't aware that the servers had been restarted. I think it's worse.

My achievements aren't twenty off, they're forty off.

- Yeah, they've been restarted 2-3 times that I've seen. The lag keeps creeping back, though. :(

And I'm trying to ignore achievement issues. Denial is easier. :)

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, spacing could use some tweaks. Using 's hover (because the HA's background makes things easier to see), here's what I see as needing improvement:

Edit: Also, maybe less space between the pet image and pet name.

I really like the new hovers overall, but I do kinda wish the trophies weren't on them anymore. Wasn't there something about the site moving away from trophies? I've always thought the hovers were a weird place to have them.

Also I really like 's suggestions! Maybe something close to this? Include the username?

Great, another loading screen that now takes longer to load things than before. Maybe it's just the site being slow right now but it's taking several seconds longer to load anything. /:

Yeah, the new hover is taking around 10 seconds to load for me. I don't mind that so much, though, if it will in fact improve overall performance of the site, but I probably will stop relying on the hover information as much as I do now because it's too ridiculous to have to wait that long.

What I don't understand, however, is this continued change in art style? It's been stated numerous times since we first say it on the beta forums, but it's continually pushed and a lot of the people I hear mention that they don't find the new look aesthetically pleasing. Is that just kind of a "fuck it. don't like it? deal with it through css kinda thing?" I supposed I don't mind that as much either, but I mean, it just kind of sucks that I have to learn how to code because things like the new site pref page are just too busy for me while simultaneously having too much white space.

The only thing I do not REALLY like about the new User Hover is the fact that the Pet headshot is now too small because it is a circle. I liked how it looked before.

The rest is ok I think. Some others mentioned a few changes that could be made and I want to agree with everything pointed out.

The new hover is covering up the wishlist in some cases making it impossible to click.

I like the new hovers, the only thing that in my opinion is missing, are the Usernames. I just feel like they should be there too.

I'm alright with them. I agree they seem slower to load though .. I there are some things to fix (like spaces and the username instead of just the name)

I really like the new hovers. I just wish the user status weren't in italics...:P

Is there a way to use custom css to change that?

I'm liking them better now after I've stared them for a couple / a few hours, but I agree with the spacing issues pointed out!

I kinda like them better without the username but I'm indifferent either way, I guess. They've been loading much faster for me, however I can't know whether it's due to the new system or because it's still early and most people aren't online yet.

I love that we can copy information from hovers, too! Unsure if those changes had any impact on HAs? Earlier today I changed mine and it updated nearly instantly, which surprised me as it always takes a while for the servers to "catch up".
