Before making really rare items like the Golden Glory scratchcard and to an extent, Raffle Tickets, inflate dramatically because of achievements/shop, please give us a way to RELIABLY GET THEM.

With the new tiers of scratchcards achievements, I feel that that scratchcard should have been added as a reward for the 100 and 250 scratchcard scratched tier.

As for raffle tickets, having them being available from forum posts ALONE was terrible in the first place. Sure, you probably increased the odds a little, but random is still random. Why aren't we getting a random event for these all around the site, like the Subeautique or the Morty Cards? Remove the CSC reward from them if it's what is stopping you, but the idea, while really interesting, is terrible because of a poor distribution.

I think we should encourage participation everywhere on the site, not just on the forums.

I don't see what's wrong with getting certain currencies/tickets/etc. randomly by doing certain activities. Raffle tickets having a shop is pretty cool since I know I got terrible rewards any time I managed to get one and use it. At least now they'll be worth a bit more, at least to me.

It would be cool to have that scratchcard be a prize for scratching x number of cards, but eh. It's also fine the way it is.

Really don't see what's so "terrible" about these decisions. Participation on the forums is certainly not the only thing encouraged... it's just one of the things. Subeta is, however, a very social site for most users.

Yes to the scratchcards! I was half expecting to see at least one of the new tiers to have the Golden Glory card as a prize, but out of 3 (or 4? I don't remember if it was to 50 or 100 card prior) there's nothing.

Getting to the 50 card achievement wasn't that difficult iirc, so I'd guess that a large part of the userbase has the achievement and has either used or sold their GG card.

It makes the site even more unfriendlier to people that are not social, don't like the current forum system or do not speak a sufficient level of english to contribute to the forums.

English is my second language. You can play the site easily with a really basic understanding of English, it's not a problem. But, interacting on the forums? That's a different ballpark

Subeta is an English-only site. It's to be expected that certain parts of it (forums mostly) cater to people who speak English well. That shouldn't change, unless Subeta decides to translate the site.

There's plenty to do on the site that doesn't require interaction with other users. Subeta isn't encouraging people to just use the forums. I don't know why you'd think that, really.

Because the last site event pretty much just amounted to go and use the forums to promo your band if you wanted to have a chance to win.

Because we have a desirable prize shop where the only way to get the currency is to post on the forum and sacrifice a Kerubi to Shinwa to have a chance to get a ticket.

Can we just STOP GLORIFYING using the forum to spam for event currency? We already do that bribing crap on the forums for every other currency on the site. It's getting tiring. I don't want the forums to be filled with more three word posts just because they can get a ticket for it, the way people spammed a lot when we got lots of SP for posting.

Okay... so what? So Subeta shouldn't use the forums for anything because a few people might be inconvenienced? Too bad, really. You've also given two examples while there are tons of things to do on the site beyond the small event and the one shop.

There are a lot of "desirable prize shops" that don't require using the forums.

I brought up other people so you'd realize that you aren't the only person and that other people get on just fine.

None of the points you've raised has been a valid complaint. There's loads to do on the site that doesn't require the forums and Subeta promotes a lot of different parts of the site, not just the forums.

So that's why I haven't found one. I've been sacrificing Montres to Shinwa. No wonder she looked so irritated.

That being said, I'm really questioning to foresight on some of these achievements, in particular the ones that require foods from retired CS boxes, past events, I know they'll get around at some point to adding more on site, but it just seems like some stuff wasn't taken into account.

I am also seriously irritated that I still am missing quite a few achievements, still haven't found an easy way to tally them up, and wuite a few achievements don't seem to be counting things right at all.

We don't see eye to eye. This is two examples released in the past 6 weeks, if I wanted to go and look at the entire history of the site and write an essay about it, I would.

While I agree there is a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE between getting the item for scratching 50 and scratching 5000, it is better than nothing. Also, at the time of making this thread, the 2,500 and 5,000 tiers were not there.

I didn't look at the "feed XYZ to your pet" because at first glance, some of them looked fine. The Deep Fried one comes to mind but the one with the Scientist Toast is just sad.

Personally, I have a full bento set, and I'm glad I don't have to break it to get the achievement in the future. Concerning that Bento Box, is it one of these items that could have a chance of being in the Black Friday sale?

Yay, I do hope to see them there, I just get so leery when stuff gets added to the "we'll totally be adding to the Hustler/Crystal Shop/Token Shop in the future"

and I watch the prices of things and add them back to the different shops when we feel they've gotten too high. We have a 'content release schedule' that we use and have things planned for the token shop and crystal shop especially for the next month. :) We are currently getting a list together for more hustler things!

I'm glad to see they've added it to an achievement tier AND random chance from a scratchcard prize. Ha-ha to be honest I got my Golden Glory a loooong time ago so it was nice to have a second chance at one without having to spend a fortune.

First, in regards to RTs via forums only-- hello solid reason to spam? I understand it's suppose to be an incentive and all, but what it really spurs is a desire to post as much as possible to increase odds of getting ticket(s).

I think it'd be awesome to have chances at getting RTs while commenting, too. Sending sMails, offering on trades, buying from user shops, and so on would also be good incentives to 'interact' with other users too.

If this isn't already the case, is it possible to have it where scratchcard stat gains ONLY go to your active pet? I refuse to scratch them because the stats always go to one of the pets that have 200 evens and screw up my hard work (ie: a couple million in boosters to make them even).

Yeah, Im really sad that in order to get the achievement for the golden glory (When I've scratched 3-4) I have to scratch a shit ton of cards.

I'm really more annoyed that some things aren't retroactive.

put me on the "scratchcard stat gains to active pet" train as well. i'm actively training all 16 of my pets, but it's still kind of a bummer to get 3 stat scratches only to have the point go to my tier 2 pet instead of my active, virtually tier 12 pet.

other than that, it's good to see the golden glories start to come back into circulation. i got mine years ago, and i'm not exactly down for paying 25 mil for a damn scratchcard, no matter HOW badly i want that achievement prize (pretty badly)

I agree with these points so much. RTs should be just like any other random event, ie site-wide.
