I agree that I'd love to get the stats on my active too. There are some of my pets that aren't used for battle at all :c .

I totally agree with scratchcards stats going to the active pet alone! Oracle is active alone now, and I think the RE is also active only, so why not scratchies?

First, in regards to RTs via forums only-- hello solid reason to spam? I understand it&;s suppose to be an incentive and all, but what it really spurs is a desire to post as much as possible to increase odds of getting ticket(s).

^I like how it makes users more active on the forums and can help with post # achievements:3

Raffle tickets come from forums because we want people to post. If you'd like the prizes that come from posting on the forums (your choice in the forum shop) you need to post on the forums. We made a way to get them, and have stuck by that being the mechanism. If posting on the forums isn't your thing (and once the october deadline for removing CSC from the items is past, we will increase the chances of finding them again) then you can buy them from other users. This is the only way those items will be going on.

That's why we have rules against spamming. This doesn't change those rules. :)

The rules against spam do not prevent people just putting "yes" or "no" in every suggestion board on page 1. Because it apparently counts as valuable insight, but if we want to discuss people's point of view, "yes" or "no" gives us little content for potential conversation.

Just imagine the following suggestion thread

Quote

Keith : Hey guys, we want to know your feedback. Do you think it&;s a good idea to make accounts inactive after 18 months instead of 12

User A : lol sure

User B : no

User C : ^this

Yeah, you have more posts. But, are they really the type of posts you want?

Or, you know, make the odds higher the longer the post is, if possible.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. I've seen it so many times from people trying to get into the Blue Building, but I can't report it because as far as I know it's not technically against the rules.

I've thought about making a suggestion to remove the BB post limit to curb this sort of thing, but now we've got the raffle tickets. :x

I would be afraid that this would encourage really long-winded posts that don't actually say anything of value. That might be worse than the "great suggestion!" posts.

The odds for the raffle tickets are all fucked up period. I'm not SUPER active on the forums, but I post more than the average user, and I think I've found maybe five since the tickets were introduced.

I would honestly be all for having higher chances of finding the tickets the longer the post is. If its a long-winded/spammy post, report it.

I try not to make posts unless I can give a more valuable/in depth view of something either way, which means that my post count may be lower, but I am happier with the quality of my posts... why shouldn't users be rewarded for that?

Well you see, in that day and age, every single word is valuable, so if you use a lot of them, it means that you have a lot of respect for the person you're talking to. Since you're going and giving them a lot of these words, in a era where we evolve in milliseconds, thanks to the influx of iThings and Androthing watching us, it is a gesture that is nothing but a love declaration to the person you are talking to. But, not romantic love as we know it. It is in fact falling in love with the concept of the person, more than in their physical enveloppe and to me, this is beautiful, because it allows sharing. The sharing of opinions, feelings and essence.

...

That was not a serious post. I'm so sorry, I HAD TO

They gave out CSC. We never intended for them to be even a little bit common. They were meant to be a bonus on a very, very rare chance. It sounds like you got them as much as we intended.

The few I redeemed always gave me absolute junk, so I started selling them lol

It always seemed like people were getting them far more than I was. Like the SubQ invites for a while. I wasn't getting ANY, and then all of a sudden I was finding them constantly.

Yeah, it just wasn't very well planned, to be honest. We anticipated having them give out better prizes (and they gave out more CSC at the start) but that turned out to be really crazy so we lowered it, and then getting them wasn't really worth it except for the achievement.

Hence the change, and they'll be going out a lot more frequently too in October.

As far as I know none of my friends have a Raffle Ticket I know I have not found one yet this time around someone would need to be really really very lucky to find any and how are people expected to buy anything from the shop with the price of the items in there if they cannot find one never mind 15.

Thank you so, so much for this. I've found all of three Raffle Tickets in my Subeta life, all before the achievement for finding one was added.

Will we be able to gain Raffle Tickets/Points from Event forums?

I think I found a grand total of one raffle ticket in all my time on subeta. I'm not that active on the forums, though, so I'm not surprised/complaining about that.

To backtrack a little I also wish that the stats gained from scratchcards would go to the active pet. I only have two pets but you better believe if I get a stat from one of those things it's not going to my battle pet. xD

The malticorn girl weirds me out, though. I can't tell if she's somebodies pet or a human and honestly both of those options weird me out a little? Did Dr Ian have a bit of a mishap in his lab and merge a pet with their owner? I dunno what to think. xD

Edit:Finished!

You've finished with this game! Your pet Maulden goes up in strength

Welp. I lied.

I'm okay with the raffle tickets being distributed trough forum posts not that I've got a ticket since the new forums...

but yeah, the scratchcard should be distributed in another way too

I'm glad they at least added the scratchcard for a new tier. Half of the time, I read threads, but never reply because I feel like anything I would of said has already been said so many times by other people, so why bother? Now I feel like I just need to start posting on ever silly thread ever just so I don't get behind with the forum shop.

I barely post on the forums and I don't really plan to start, as I am not a social person and have a terrible time even keeping up with friends I am talking to on my wall. It would just stress me out. What I hope is that finding a ticket will be common enough that items will show up in shops eventually, even at high prices.
