Since she passed away yesterday, I'd been waiting to see what Subeta would come up with to commemorate her . Is there not going to be any mention or item? There's been for all the countless celebs in the past. Why not make a 'Red Carpet' Background?

She died at the start of the month, by now, it's obvious we're not getting one.

Yeah, and this human being made money off mercilessly mocking other people and tearing them down
That's not the point. There have been plenty of controversial tribute items made in the past, so I fail to see how this is any different.

Yeah, it is. And aside from the Amy Winehouse tribute (that WAS NOT a free item) I don't know what controversial tribute items we're talking about. I'm referring specifically to free item tributes, not ones that cost money.
She was a human being, but she wasn't a good one. It'd be like making a tribute item for Mitt Romney
Good is subjective! Many people would disagree with you and say Joan Rivers was a good person. Many people, in fact, liked and respected her.
I for one would like to see a tribute done, although I do doubt Subeta would release it as it has already been a few weeks. Maybe a CW though.
And here I thought it was rather objectively BAD to make a living off of being a bully, which is what Joan Rivers did
Aside from the fact that it's too late, I think this topic is the proof why we don't need one : because the person was controversial in life. You people are disagreeing about what kind of person she was in life, and nothing was released yet!
While it didn't stop some controversial tributes in the past, I think the current tribute items should be for people that people had good memories of, and did overall positive things. Like Robin Williams. That was a well-deserved tribute and it was universally applauded. Or the Neil Armstrong one, from a few years ago.
The last thing Subeta needs is more outrage and debate in news comments.
Bully is a harsh term, especially when referring to a comedian, since you know all comedians are paid to make fun of everyone. Some of her jokes were in poor taste, yes, but every comedian I've ever seen makes jokes like that. Then she was also a fashion critic, who was paid to critique things, harshly.
But I think we're getting away from what this thread is about.
