&& - It was ... disappointing, but entirely expected. That doesn't make a lot of sense, but, due to plans being broken and children being .... well children and people thinking my plans are unimportant... I ended up sitting at my parents house all afternoon and didn't get to make my dinner or pick up my cake. I will tomorrow, though, so it's just delayed. Rained a lot, too. But I like the rain, we need it so that was kind of a plus :D

It's so funny, I've been listening to this song, Georgie Boy by Pete Yorn (one of the most talented indie musicians I know btw), for this one line: "Twenty years on, it's a mission accomplished, and everyone's feeling great..." I was totally waiting for my 20th to play that song all day =P

- FAB songs have your age in them ! When I was 20 I was , uh, 99... Oh, I was in my first separation from kidlet's dad and she was 7 months old. Now she is bigger than me and a teenager. o.o

. I just heard a song called "Andrew in Drag" and while it has nothing to do with birthdays I gigglesnorted through the whole thing, then got the video from youtube and giggled some more. Made me feel better :D

This past weekend was the huge rummage sale the school district south of us hosts. Me, my mom, my brother, his wife, and his little baby girl went down to score things. Well. I swear to you. There was this tube of neon yellow that based on size and shape, I literally had ZERO idea if it was a micromini or a tube top. NO. IDEA. I had to consult the brother's wife and another lady. We decided it was a tube top. ... the things kids wear.

I got a sheer short sleeve black men's button up shirt with thin metallic multicolored thread striping, though. Unf, it is a pimp shirt.

I 'never' act my age :D I'm so not grown enough to have a teenager, my gosh. It's crazy.

Lol the funny thing is the same thing happens to me in "trendy" stores. I find myself staring at some pieces of clothing are thinking "umm...what? o_O". Some things they come out with these days are bordering ridiculousness, I swear. Then again, I've never been one to really follow fashion trends.

Haha I can imagine. I act my age, if my age means doing dumb things and paying for them =) and according to many people, it does.
