Golden Rings:

• Detail: Please, make good of use this. I want to know your character's appearance, what they're thinking, how they feel at a given time and situation. I want to get a good look in their head. The more I understand your character, the better the role play will be.

• Doubling: Don't be afraid to do a side/extra character or two. They will happen to add to scenes and situations and I'm not shy on this. They might reappear but only if necessary and they won't likely become main-ish characters unless you take an interest in them. I love to do plot twists and having a couple of these guys is almost standard for me.

• GenderS: I know some people are better at some genders than others (I used to be more comfortable with male characters but I've branched out since then) but it never hurt anyone to try. I'll always be willing to do my best to enrich the role play we have going and I'd like it if you would too. No character has to be perfect and I promse playing males/females/anything and everything in between gets easier with practice.

• Paragraphs: I love details, actions, thoughts and such and full out paragraphs are the best way to communicate these in my opinion. I'm not expecting a best seller novel, far from it. One liners are a serious deal breaker. Not everyone can crank out five or six and I get that. Two paragraphs and up is fine, maybe one if it's in a transition scene or something.

• Romance: I flat out love romance. I am a romantic at heart so depending on the character, they can be too. I'm willing to go all out or fade to black, whatever suits your preference. Beware, fluffy characters lie beyond these waters (sometimes).

As for genres, well, I'm very open. I don't have anything set. My interests are mainly fantasy, the supernatural. Science fiction can be an interest and real world depending. I don't do anything like Harry Potter or Pokemon. I'm just not comfortable with rping characters that aren't mine. They aren't as familiar and it feels like I'm stepping into a stranger's skin.

I do however have several characters with plots of their own and worlds to go with them. I might add them later (it's rather late and my brain is getting a bit fuzzy). If you're interested in knowing those, do post or mail so.

I normally play male but I can do female pretty decently. Also, I have a wide variety of things I love to play--- besides fandoms, for the same reasons as you. I play m/f normally. Currently I'm interested in anything from post apocalyptic, medieval, modern, etc. I love realism of characters and will ALWAYS match or beat your post in length. I get the feeling we'd get along real well. I also enjoy writing detail into replies. In fact I'm a rather visual person, more of a digital artist than a writer at heart, and enjoy injecting cinematic-like descriptions of the appearances and movements; and I can get pretty psychological with my characters and their personalities, the consequence of which is writing a lot about how they react to things, both internally and externally. I try to get a lot of diversity with my characters and enjoy writing all genders, though most of my experience is with writing males and non-binary characters. Trying to make more girls, though! Anyways, I don't have an up to date 1x1 search at the moment — waiting for the last one to be locked before I post it — but I have a weebly with all my info, and even some of my character's dossiers (though not many because a lot of them are being revamped right now.) I don't roleplay mxf out of personal preference, but it doesn't sound like that'll be a problem.
