So a radio station in my state is having a 'top pet' contest, and whoever's pet gets the most votes (through submitting a valid email) gets 1,500 dollars.

My sister and I have entered my doggy Maggie, a three year old Catahoula :-) hoping that she could win, and finally have her painful duclaws removed that keep rapidly growing into her skin every month, and her teeth whitened (because she has been getting tarter and her breath now smells like fish. D:)

Why don't you cut her dewclaws instead of getting them removed??

And whitening your dogs teeth isn't going to make them any healthier. You should get them CLEANED or brush them yourself. Whitening sensitizes the enamel, and dogs NEED their teeth.

she has those nasty claws that curl around back into her skin, and they hurt her legs, it's kinda like ingrown toe nails on dogs.. and when i mean 'teeth whitened' i mean removing the tarter build up on her teeth and gums. they remove the tarter through surgery, so they do not rot. It's from her diet of wet and dry food.
