Man, I used to watch that show as a 10 year old boy and do my best to copy all the awesome fighting moves as best as a 10 year old boy can XD

8 years later and while i'm watching it I'm completely drawn to how absolutely hot pretty much all the male characters are. Like wow~

Dude, InuYasha was my first anime favorite, aside from Pokemon as a kid (which honestly doesn't count). I got into it when I was seven, roughly nine years ago. Definitely one of the best anime shows around. I get into it every time it comes on.

My favorite character is probably Sesshomaru. I could never get over how epic his demon dog form was. I wish it was starred in more than one episode. I liked Koga for awhile, but meeeh. My first favorite character was Kikyo, though. I idolized her, running through my wooded backyard with my own little hand-made bows. They never shot too far, but whatever. I still like Kikyo's design and concept, but her attitude and relation to InuYasha himself... Ew. Fuq her for that. I never opened my eyes to it until later.

I want to watch all the episodes over again this Summer. :'D It blows that it only comes on early Sunday mornings.

I have the first two volums and all the movies. I wanted to be like InuYasha so bad! aha a young boy can dream. I think Miroku is my favorite though, I mean now that I get all the innuendo in the show and exactly why sango was so upset XD haha he always make me laugh

Really? I never collect things like that. xD I lamely resort to the internet for manga and movies and episodes. I really liked InuYasha, too, though. As a character. I thought he was a kitty boy at first! :o Then the hair lady called him a dog. I was so blown away. I also hated to believe Sesshy was a dog. I figured he was a wolf or something. Miroku is hilarious. I think as an older person, I myself understood a loooot more by watching over again. I've seen practically every episode. It just never gets old, so I can watch it anytime.

Shippo, though. That is a character I dislike.

Oh I don't mind shippo, he's just young! I have five younger siblings :) the youngest two being five years old right now. I never thought they were cats to be honest, i wasn't sure what they were until it was explained. i was blown away to find out that InuYasha was 250 years old when the series took place. that's pretty amazing to me

I've only got one sibling, a younger sister. But Shippo always made me angry. I sort of forget how much I dislike him whenever I see the episodes where his father died to the Thunder Brothers. It makes me feel bad for him, and glad that he found a new 'family', you know? But then there are episodes like the one where Kirara did some chore for Myoga (probably spelled his name wrong), and Sango was soooo sad, convinced her poor kitten was dead. Really, Shippo just never mentioned where she had really went. I was a cat-obsessed kid back then. InuYasha had pointy ears, so... I was like, Kitty!!! xD I always wondered what happened to the demons in Kagome's age/the present if they lived so many years. Hmm. Another thing that blew me away, though, was that Kirara was actually the demon partner of the lady who the Shikon Jewel came from. o: I was like, wow. What are the odds...

right i remeber, that episode was pretty epic. I really don't mind shippo. My little sister absolutly detested Kikyo with all her heart. no matter how many times i tried to convince her of Kikyo's importance to the story line she got so angry at me XD

Hahaha. Well, at first, I hated Kagome and thought she didn't belong in the era, interfering with InuYasha and Kikyo's love life. That's just how much I liked Kikyo at the time. But then Kikyo started acting up, and I realized the whole thing was really hurting Kagome. Kagome and InuYasha have been through a lot more than he ever had with Kikyo, to tell the truth. So... On the Kagome vs. Kikyo thing, I say Kagome. xD But, as I said, her design and concept was amazing.

I have no comment on that love triangle. it is dangerous and I want it nowhere near me XD i still think Miroku's charcter design was the very best. Everything from habits to character art. He's just perfect

Hahaha! You're right. It can spark some fights. But Kikyo's attitude was got her on my 'eh' list. As for Miroku.. At first, I thought he was kinda ugly. I grew to really like him in the end. He's handsome. c: Not sure why he seems unlucky with the ladies. Sango's lucky to have him, despite him being a womanizer. I looooved the episodes with the girl who claimed Miroku took her virginity in order to avoid being taken by that lake demon, I think it was. And the ones that got all into his history and what his true feelings are.

Inuyasha fans! Yaaay! Let's chat! ❤️

I really like Shippo, to be honest. Yeah he's a bit useless and annoying but he is just a pup. I like him because he's kind of like Kagome's kid, in a way. She's the one who takes care of him and I bet he looks up to her as a motherly figure. Aaand, of course, I love the scenes where he and Inuyasha are fighting. They are always one of my favorites.

Miroku's womanizing scenes are also definitely on my favorites list. He is, imo, the funniest character. I don't really like his fighting skills, especially because it seems like he's almost useless in the battlefield without his wind tunnel, but he's that kind of character that you love because of his personality. I can't say the same about Sango though. She's almost the opposite of Miroku for me. I love her Hiraikotsu and all her demon slaying stuff, but I don't see anything "special" in her. I don't really know how to explain it. For me she doesn't have a very interesting personality. I mean, sure she has all that sadness and wants revenge for Kohaku and her demon slaying companions, but that's it basically. I like her, but I just don't find her a very interesting character.

Anyway, my favorite character has got to be Kouga. There was a time when I was a complete Kagome x Inuyasha fan, but (I think it was the second time I watched the anime) I began to picture her with the wolf prince and began to pay closer attention to his character. I think he'd make a very dedicated "mate" for her and, unlike Inuyasha, would have eyes for only her, especially considering that wolves mate for life thing they've got going on.

I like Kouga a whole lot to. I remember when Ayame first came into the series and I could not believe how mad everyone was at him. It took the poor guy the whole episode to even remember her. It wasn't his fault. Haha

I totally agree with you. How was he even supposed to remember something like that. He probably just said it to her so she'd feel better or whatever. I don't really like her though, she seems too spoiled I guess. But I really like the wolf tribes. They seem like such a fun place to live. xD

Yeah the wolf tribes seem really well structured and such. I never understood how they seemed to travel so far and to different places but always seemed to only be a couple days journey from the bone eaters well so Kagome could just go back whenever she got pissed off.

I also watched it when I was younger, probably around 14 lol. Recently I watched all of FMA (which I watched just a bit of around the same time), and it made me want to re-watch all of Inuyasha sooo badly. I really wish it were on Netflix. I don't feel like sitting in front of my computer watching it, I wanna watch it from my couch. :P

At the temple, there is a poem called "Loss" carved into the stone.
It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out.
You cannot read Loss, only feel it.

I used to love InuYasha. I recently started watching it again for nostalgia's sake. It's definitely not one of my favourites any more, but it's fun to go back through all of my old favourite episodes. I can even remember what I was thinking during certain moments. It's definitely iconic, if nothing else can be said for it.

InuYasha was my first serious anime/manga. Before that, as a girl I grew up with Sailor Moon, but I didn't watch it for the plot - just the Sailor Scouts lol. My favorite character was Sesshomaru. He changes so drastically throughout the series, from an arrogant misanthrope to a caring father-like figure. His relationship with Rin just makes me smile so much. In the Final Act, when Rin asks him if he will remember her when she dies one day, he looks shocked and quickly scoffs at the idea of her ever dying. How cute.

I may have an unpopular opinion, but I personally thought the English dub was terrible. Kagome's voice actress in particular was so unconvincing and cheesy. :( Made me cringe every time a romantic scene came up.

In any case, Kagome is cute and awesome. :)
