I love InuYasha! I've watched it since I was in the fifth grade. Though I haven't seen Final Act yet, but I hope when I put the time in I will watch it.
Didn't they recently make a new Inuyasha? like one where they're older?
Inuyasha is my favorite anime of all time and I grew up watching it. I used to boast how I know all the lyrics for all the opening/ending themes by heart. Now I look back, I was singing gibberish that sounds japanese than real japanese. Thank goodness all my friends and classmates were not japanese. The soundtrack is breath taking too. My favorite is To Love's End and all the other pieces that sounds like it. Even the songs for the four movies are just as good!
Its the only anime that I could tolerate the dub but I also watched the subbed version.
Also I love all the moments when Kagome told Inuyasha to sit. I always laugh when I watch a compilation of it. Also whenever Sango beats Miroku when he touches her, haha! I find that Kirara is the cutest feline in the anime world~
Looking to Buy:
: English dubs were kinda okay for me but I guess it's because I started Inuyasha with english dubs. Japanese voice actors are AMAZING with what they do.
I still can't get over how awesome the anime was.. Still watching it every once in a while =D I really like Rin's character. I just wished they continued it!
You're kidding!? When, and where can I look that up? =O
Two years ago, I had bought the entire series on rightstuf and had started watching it. Then I dropped it last year. And now I've started back again continuing where I left off. Which was somewhere in Season 3. xD

Inuyasha was my very first anime xD Back in the day when it aired on adult swim @ 12 me and my best friend would stay up late to catch it (since dvr was made yet :p )
It still holds a very special place in my heart ^^

I love Rin the most in this manga/ anime. She's so adorable <3
I think that everyone misunderstood Seshoumaru: YES, he wanted that sword for himself, and when he saw Inuyasha being able to handle it he lost it. But after that, all he did was to test and train Inuyasha in handling it. SPOILER (click to toggle)
The first time was right after Inuyasha managed to make it transform. Then, he kept up the act of wanting the sword from his brother, only to help Inuyasha discover the wind's scar. Then, when I finally learned that Sesh can see it, be he cant, Sesh blinded Inuyasha - he knew his instinct for survival will kick in and he would see the wind scar in the end, and it happened.
Then Sessh met Rin and his quest for the sword was almost not there anymore. And there were many other times when Sessh showed in a very wicked way he trusted Inuyasha..
I also think Kikyo was testing and training Kagome.. she knew Kagome could make inuyasha happy as he showed a face to kagome that kikyo didn't know. plus, kikyo was dead, and she knew she wouldn't be "alive" for too long
I liked Kouga and how he declared his instant love for Kagome. I really liked his character.
I think Inuyasha was probably my first "official" anime. I used to watch Sailor moon, and pokemon and stuff, but I started watching Inuyasha basically religiously once I found out what anime was.. I was probably 8 or so at the time? when it played at a normal time on saturday and every morning at like 5am or whatever. Ugh It's so nostalgic to think about, even though I don't particularly like it anymore.. I still have one of the movies though.
My love for Inuyasha is forever, Dragon BallZ and Sailor Moon were my first.
My favorites were Koga, Seshoumaru and Rin. I loved them so much. I was never a fan of Jaken . His voice annoyed me.
Netflix has some Inuyasha episodes. I watch them when I need to fold my laundry :)
Novel is a huge simp for Dick Gayson and Jason Todd. They deserve better!
((is looking for art for that states this opinion))
Sesshomaru was my favorite character. I think out of most of the cast, he got the most development. When he first showed up in the series, he was... pretty much a massive jerk with an odd power complex. "Daddy, why did you leave me this useless sword and you gave Inuyasha the cooler one? Waa!"
I liked seeing him advance from typical "demon searching for more power" to someone who became empathetic to others due to his interaction with Rin and realizing he didn't need his father's heirlooms in order to be powerful. He eventually found that he had enough power in himself and formed his own damn sword from his body and regenerated his own arm too as a result. When he put his pride aside and helped others, he became more powerful than ever.
And he turns into a giant fluffy doggy.
As for Inuyasha and Kagome... Eh, this promo from adult swim pretty much sums it up.
