Kit-Kit.. a finger tip stalking, unstoppable pouncing three-quarter of a pound light weight was an undiscovered champion, too weak to lift her head, covered in motor oil stray abandoned in the back of the garage who shocked the world when she won the fight for her life over the past 48 hours. Kit-Kit will now be retiring.. and this GORGEOUS little kitten will now reside in the recliner or dining room window pane in my home for the rest of her days.

I know right!? I couldnt tell what she was going to look like until she was strong enough for her 2nd bath. Long live dawn dish-soap!
- When I first found her, I called my daughter to help me figure out what to do to try and save her and Nica said "Nana has a kit-kit?" Later on, Sicca wanted me to rename her Kit-Kat but then I would want to eat more chocolate. So Kit-Kit it remains - lol!
- Me too Kim. I didnt think she would make it but now Im confident that she's going to be just fine.
- Sah when I found her she was too weak to mew or move. She's retiring from the fight to live - she won!

She's uber-adorable, and I love that you're keeping her inside. It always drives my vet crazy when people let cats be outdoors and they are shocked when they're killed, injured, or attract diseases. What a great life she'll be having!
- No, there are no signs of the mother or the other 3 we found in there earlier. I can only guess that they left, and Kit-Kit was too little or weak to follow. She'll be going to the vet for a checkup next week =)

- I'm so happy to hear about the little cutie doing so well! She has wiggled her little self right into your heart which tickles me to no end...wanders off smiling
what a cutie patootie! Nice job, mamakitty!
OMGosh...your dress!

You are about the 10th person who has commented on written on it--but it's not a dress. (I'm a faker, yes, I am :) )I wanted to pick up all the colors in stained glass window, so I layered under . Viola! New "dress."
Besides, it has flowers for Kit-Kit to play with. :)
Such a nice story when kittens survive, poor wee thing, but glad Kit-Kit is doing well and is so dam cute
Thank you [Kiss=smilesnz] [Dance=smilesnz] [Flower=smilesnz]
Yay! I love stories like that! Many years ago my husband and I saved a kitten from the streets of Lower Manhattan - she had an umbilical hernia and was super skinny and filthy. We took her home in a taxi, fed her some food, which she devoured, called our vet (it was Saturday around 9 PM), who told us to take her to the ASPCA (we couldn't keep her, as we already had two cats in our 1-bedroom apartment). Once there, we were told they'd keep her for 48 hours, during which time she'd have to be adopted or ...you don't want to know... We made more phone calls and on Monday morning, my husband had taken the day off, adopted her, took her to North Shore Animal League on Long Island, where we paid for her to have an operation for her hernia. They promised to keep her until adopted and not too long after she was adopted by a family with two children! :). Best charitable thing we ever did!
