Thank you! We were so happy when we found out that the Long Island shelter would take her if we paid for her operation. We called her Twiggy and she had a great personality, so we knew that given the chance, people would adopt her.

Right now we have two crazy litter mates (girls), who were dropped off in a box with their mother and brother in front of a vet's home. They have bad sibling rivalry and often box like kangaroos (seriously, they whack each other while standing on their hind legs)!

, so cute! All my animals were strays. Rescued are the best. , I definitely hope your year improves having had a couple like that myself making me stand on pin-cushions with worry. You take care and get well. I am glad she went peacefully.

oh that poor BABY I'm so glad she has someone as loving as you to rescue her and take care of her! <3 I had a cat once that we rescued from a storm drain when he was a teensy kitten as well, and he turned out to be the sweetest, most loving cat ever. Something about rescuing a young kitten like that creates such an amazing bond! I'm happy you two will have a wonderful life together :D

That name's almost as adorable as the kitty herself. 8D I wish many happy times for you two :D ~~
