The stock market and the auctions are being removed from the site :(

Both features haven't been updated in a long time, and are very rarely used by users. The stock market is a cool feature we hope to revisit sometime in the future, but at the moment it pumps millions of sP into the system daily without any balance.

You can still sell your stocks and finish your remaining auctions.

Guess this means Major Drills will be fixed/updated soon then, I hope.

Will they both be removed from Major Drills?

WHAT?! Why the auctions??!! No! I need them :( I don't think the auctions are "rarely used"....the stock mark - sure...but auctions? no.

Yup, they've both been disabled from Major Drills :)

So what about drills then? He asks to buy stocks and bid on auctions. I've been trying to get through the tiers but it looks like I'll be declining even more of his quests :S

Kinda weird but I got an alert from the ping (YAY!!) but the time hover says it was made 1hr ago. Shurg At least it works.

Considering there are times that the auctions are completely empty/void of items... Yeah. I can understand why. xD The most I've ever seen in there is perhaps 15 items? Usually all posted from the same person/people.

I can't see my portfolio. I'm on Firefox and nothing is loading stock-market wise. :x

May we get other "play X game" put into Major Drills quests, then ? As it is, doing a good portion of his quests (when I can stomach doing them) is out of the question for me. Without those two it will make things even harder.

Since I never got around to finishing the achievements for stocks, I'd like to say I'm sad to see it go. But then I realize that I never finished them because it was just so damned tedious, and now I'm over it.

A revamp making the stock market dynamic and realistic would be great. Since the real stock market is, you know... dynamic. I hope someone comes up with a workable idea some time in the future.

Cool :) The only reason I ever used the stock market was for achievements, and though I'm still missing some of the higher up tiers of them, eh, I'm happy with what I've got. I'd like to see it come back maybe sometime later down the road with improvements or something, but for now, I think it's just taking up space. Only reason I've used auctions was for major drills, so I'm not disappointed about it going. I would however, like to see the trades section get a nice update. Not now, but after we get everything else up and running correctly c;

I rarely remember stocks or auctions even exist, which is weird because auctions used to be such a thing on neopets.

Im a bit sad to see auctions gone. But there were only ever ten items in it. So I can see why youd remove it. Stocks were pretty dead, other than drills.

And I dont play him anyway because all he ever wants me to do is win the slots, play leviathan (which gives me migraines from the reloading ever click) and spectrail which sucks xD hopefully he is changes to add more games that arent a pain in the ass.

Has Major Drills prizes been added back?

Honestly glad about stocks, always felt gyilty staring at that area, kniwing I needed the achievement xD
