I'm totally ok with these being removed. :P

This seems like the kind of announcement that deserves a news post, though. I figured the forum group would be for more subtle changes, like tweaking quest prizes or backend changes to speed up pings. Completely removing two site features is kind of big, even if they're not used very much.

Edit: Oh, and I'm seconding ' request for a specific date on when this will happen.

I was never quite able to get myself into the stock market, so I don't mind so much that it's going away, but I have to admit it's gonna be kinda weird not having auctions.

A little sad about auctions going :( But I can see it being necessary as it's not a fantastic system. It'd be neat if it came back as a silent auction type or something. Like, nobody knew if anybody else bid on it or the amount, and there was a minimum amount placed already by the auctioneer.

VERY sad to see stocks go. I knew it'd eventually happen, but the idea of a stock market is fantastic. Great alternative to making sP. I would very much like to see a new and improved stock market :D Maybe one that wasn't so... unstable? c:

This makes me think of another thing around the site that hasn't been updated in a very long time: Subeta Tiles. Love the game, but I'm getting tired of how outdated it is, with the Hipposarus and Turdles >3<

The whole reason i stopped using the auctions was because it got filled with customs and it was hard to find anything else. Also how will people be able to get more then 50 mill for their custom items in their shop?

apparently i've been going to some other auctions because i've never seen a cw in auctions

I will be excited to see what ya'll come up with down the road for the Stock Market, that could definitely be a dynamic and interesting feature of the site.

I don't get people being happy about this feature being removed. If they don't want to use it, they don't have to.

Well, I'm glad I got the stock achievements before it retired. :)

There is no topic for achievements (both are locked) but at first I was missing 4 now I'm missing 10. LOL. I'm going by what the hover is stating, before the new achievements was rolled out.

Q: Can the achievements be alpha order rolling throughout instead of alpha order by each page.

Aww... I will miss the auctions. Still remember when the staffs added tons of items there for just to bid on. It was fun.

Mmm...I'm rather sad about the auctions going away. Mostly I use them when I want to purchase things in bulk. For example, right now I want to buy Vesnali coins...it's tedious to buy them one by one. Yes it's only ten at a time, but still a major time-saver.

Is there another simple way to buy things in bulk that I'm forgetting?

Also, when you want to borrow something, it's the most trustworthy way to exchange items if you're offering collateral.

Again, maybe I'm forgetting about another fair way to exchange things. I'm recently back from hiatus and therefore a little rusty ;) Feel free to enlighten me.

I never figured out the stock market. I'm a little shocked to see the auctions go, but it's all good.

I did use the stock market, auctions, I only did it for Major Drills. I'm glad you are giving us time to sell our stocks. An extra 23mil to my on hand sP.

You aren't by chance confusing Auctions with Trades are you? The Trading Center lets you put items for sale/trade in batches of 10 or fewer.

You can also buy fairly quickly by clicking down a row on the Shop Search or refreshing the page in a User Shop where it says You have Purchased [item name]

I AM confusing them, gosh slaps forehead I had completely forgotten about Auctions, and thought we were discussing trades here! I guess it's obvious I'm not going to miss auctions very much when I forgot about their existence :/

I'm having an issue with seeing the stocks owned page in order to sell them..I honestly can't recall if I do have any though(but I can't see if I do, because I get no list)

I really hope you decide not to remove these features.I love the stock market and the auctions :(

esp. auctions were a fast and doable quest thing with Mj. Drills. I hope it will be replaced with something similar.
