Been a while since I have made a DNA rp or in fact any RP, and I hope this one goes well. This Rp in fact is a revived version of my Last RP. So here it is, nothing much has changed. Though I hope we actually get to the escaping this time ^ ^;
Forum Group: Plot
It's the year 3000, the world has changed alot. The government has been doing research on how to keep the humans from dying they have been trying many ways but the only one they really agreed with was DNA testing. Once someone would turn 16 they'd be sent to a secret facility underneath the surface of the earth, there they will be injected with animal DNA which alters your appearance and once that is done they lock you up. You have to try and escape the horrors of this place, it won't be easy but that's just how it is. You aim to go as far away as possible so that you can free yourselves from such horridity, yet all you know is that by the next day your life won't get any easier. That is just how life is here in 3000 where overpopulated countries grow and more and more cities form, and remember this, Once you escape... there is no backing out.
Setting
Like I said it is the year 3000 and well everything is all futuristic, there will be hover boards, hover cars, hover-everything. At the start you are trapped in a cage inside a crowded room in of course the facility located underground.

Just for the record I think this is a very interesting plot and id love to role-play this, unfortunately I do not have a lot of time on my hands and I am not sure if I'll be able to keep up with a forum role-play XD; But I would love to try it out anyway. ( I think I would be missing out on a really fun rp if I did not give it a chance.)

I have one character in mind but she still needs some work, she is a scientist though. I didn’t want to post my information on her until I told you I was interested and my situation with time.

Here are my skelly's sorry they turned out a bit long somehow /: You probaly do not have to read all of Wendy's shes pretty easy to understand lol.

Charactor: Scientist Name: Wendy Gardens Nickname: Not really a nickname but while in the laboratory she prefers to be called Miss Wendy by both experiments and co-workers. Age: 28 Personality: She is actually quite a happy giddy person, she just likes terrible things. When around her experiments she gives off an almost motherly care, but she is still concerned about the results of the experimentation and is not afraid to use painful tests in order to get results. Again she usually is always happy but as soon as you do one thing to cross her she becomes instantly annoyed and will quickly start plotting against you, although she usually doesn’t yell or appear any angrier then annoyed, unless she is really having a bad day…like her experiment escaping XD. She is also very selfish and often only does what is good for her or what she wants. She kind of only goes by the I, my, me rule, she will even go against her co-workers or break laboratory rules to get what she wants. Likes: Frogs, flowers, plants, experimenting, welding, brain teasers, mind games of all sorts Dislikes: Being used/manipulated, loosing, being disobeyed, Appearance: Wendy has dark skin and due to the failure of a past experiment she can not see very well and her eyes have also been turned a glowing nuclear green colour. She wears contacts to hide her glowing eyes, so they appear a greyish-green. She has short hair so it does not get in the way during her experiments and is a burnt orange. Her bangs are past her eyes but she keeps them pinned back with hair clips so they are out of her eyes. She has a slim build but and toned muscle, her legs have noticeably more muscle then her arms or other parts of her body, but her legs are not buff by any means and is only 5”7. The experiments can often over power her which is why she is usually watchful and makes sure their locked up. Clothing: She wears an off-white custom lab coat that ends at the waist line. It has a zipper down the middle of the coat that she usually keeps zipped up all the way to the top of the collar that ends just below her jaw line. The sleeves are long and end half way down her hands. She wears tight black boots that end half way up the shin and have a bit of a chunky heel to them. On her legs she wears dark grey tights and over that a pair of shorts. (I will try and draw her as soon as possible) History: Ever since she was little she has been interested in the outcomes of things. She often made up her own childish experiments with baking products and anything she can find in the kitchen or bathroom drawer. After that she began using these found ingredients on flowers and sometimes on her beloved captured pet frogs. Throughout school she was very interested in science and eventually applied for this job. Despite her age, she is very talented in what she does and is one of the top scientists in the laboratory. Although because of her selfish behaviour, it is hard for others to trust her, this hinders her from getting higher authority where she works. Other: Because she is not the strongest and the only thing she has going for her is her speed, she has some weapons to keep herself out of dangers way, such as an ordinary hand gun and a small pocket knife (she usually doesn’t use these though because she does not want to harm her experiments without any results, they are mostly a threat factor). She also knows her pressure points to help her get out of a tussle.

Charactor: Experiment Name: Torolf Cawl Nickname: Tor Species: Thylacinus http://tricomts.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/thylacinus.jpg Age: 16 Personality: He is fairly shy and keeps to himself when meeting new people but he is not afraid to have a conversation with new people. He is usually quite playful and loves to play tricks and playfully tease others once he gets to know them and there personality. He rarely has hatred towards others and is very forgiving. Once he gets close to someone he can be very loyal and loving. He is also easily startled and frightened. Likes: fruit, vegetables, playing, relaxing, mornings, hugs Dislikes: being stressed, meat, crowds, misleading people Appearance: He has sandy Blonde hair with brown-red streaks mostly at the front of his hair. He has the round ears of a Thylacinus replacing his human ears. His eyes are an amber orange-brown. He has the long stiff tail of the Thylacinus as well. He has the stripes of the Thylacinus on his tail but they continue onto his lower back, and are in a dark chocolate brown colour. He has tan skin; with some markings on his face from the Thylacinus DNA, Such as an off-white border around his eyes that get thicker at the bottom of his eye and at the top. He is not very strong and does not have a lot of muscle; he stands at a height of 5”9. His teeth are pointed like that of a canine and his heels are raised higher in his legs to be similar to canine’s hind legs, his feet are more paw like as well. His hands and feet have black claws like the Thylacinus. Clothing: He wears a sleeveless black loose cowl neck shirt. Around his neck is a tight threaded necklace, with amber stones intertwined in the thread to make a pattern. Over the cowl-neck he wears a light purple hoody that is yellow on the inside, ontop of the hoody he wears a light grey jacket. His pants are worn out and black that are frayed at the bottom. His shoes are light purple converse. (Again ill try to draw a visual ref as soon as possible) Other: He has certain abilities due to the Thylacinus DNA. For instants he can open his Jaws up to 120degrees, and his jaws are very muscular and powerful. He can not run very fast but he has lots of stamina. He has a strong sense of hearing and sight, and can also see in the dark.

Ooc: I wouldn't mind joining this, look's fun. I'M A CAT! MEOW! Name: Abraham Choché Nickname: Abe Species: Arctic Fox Age: 23 Personality: Abe is very reserved and quiet. After seven years of staying in the lab, stuck in a cage, he's figured out that it's no use trying to fight back like he used to-but that doesn't stop him from snapping at hands that awake him from a good sleep. Though quiet, Abe does occasionally speak up, normally to give a word of advice or comfort to the new comers. Other than that, Abraham can be found either sleeping or watching the scientist at work. Even if he is part of their experiment, he is intrigued by what they do and how they go about doing it. They are supposed to be studying him but in his mind he's studying them. If you ever find him in a chatty mood, it'll mainly be him trying to make conversation with any scientist that will answer his questions. He has no issue no issue with talking with the experiments but he finds the scientist conversation more interesting-especially when a few of the females decide to flirt back with him(rare but he tries). Likes and dislikes: Likes: Snow, cold weather, sleep, food, quiet, observing his surroundings, soft music/sounds, women Dislikes: Hot weather, harsh sounds, rude people, being woken up, being/feeling threatened Appearance: Abe has changed much in his seven years as a scientific experiment. Once very tall and lean, Abraham has shrunken at least five inches, taking him to about 5'5, maybe 5'6 on a good day. Along with the shrinking, his fingers and toes seemed to have curled in one themselves, resembling deformed paws with black claws. His eyes are a dark amber color and very round with a black ring around them, placed in the middle of his face. His nose is wet and becoming more elongated, forming to look more of a muzzle. His teeth have become sharper with his canine's more pronounced than they once were. His once brown hair has turned a snowy white, covering the top and sides of his head before coming down under neath his chin. His ears sit on top of his head, shorter and rounded than a normal fox's. The back of his hands are covered in fur, along with his upper arm, back, legs, and it's beginning to spread on his feet. The bottom of his hands and feet are becoming rough and harden, turning into pads. His tail is white, fluffy, and about ten inches long. History: N/A Other: Has the word 'Tigger' tattooed on the inside of his right forearm. He also has a habit of calling females dear.

Name: Adelaide Delacroix

Nickname: Addie by fellow scientists, and anything goes with those experiments.

Age: 21

Personality: Adelaide? Adelaide is that girl that knows that the position she's in has power. And I can't say for sure what she thinks. She mostly works for herself rather than the government. She is not naive. She knows that the government could kick the legs right from under her, drag her away and beat her whenever and wherever they wanted to. They have eyes and ears everywhere. Even if you work for the nation, you're never trusted, never safe. The age they lived in was like one of those banned books from ancient times that imagined dystopia and death and brainwashing, like 1984 or A Brave New World. She has molding copies of those in her home, hidden, secret. If you ever asked her if she had them (and nobody would since Adelaide was the cream of the crop in the labs) she would spit on your face and ask what you've been smoking. Actually, even if you didn't ask her, she'd probably spit on your face anyway.

[b]Appearance: She is a rather tall girl. Her build is skinny with a small bust. Her hair is that moonlight blonde, pale and, unfortunately, straight. It's cropped to a pixie cut, since she's had one to many accidents in the lab. She figured that a lot of problems would be solved this way. Her skin is light colored and her eyes are grey. She's sort of lack luster if you want to think of it that way. It's probably because she spends most of her time indoors working on The Project. Adelaide's features are slightly angular. Her expert fingers are long and thin, just like the rest of her body.

History: How did she get involved in this project? Her parents were scientists in The Project. So, as it were, the work was passed on to the child when the parents had died. She wasn't exactly sure how they died, some rampant experiment, maybe some chemical explosion. Since Addie doesn't remember them much since they were always working, she didn't know her parents very well. Sure, she knew their names and ages and schooling from the government records, she just didn't know them, like their favorite color, or favorite food, or dreams.

It was a miracle the government didn't use Adelaide as an experiment after being orphaned, she being a minor and all. Well, maybe it isn't. Her parents were intelligent, it was assumed that she'd be a vital participant of the project. Plus her family was a rich one. Though the government could have easily taken those funds, especially since Adelaide was now alone and virtually defenseless, they decided it would be much simpler if it was given willingly. There were too many under-table operations already and this would be an unnecessary and minor one. So why bother? So now here she is, playing with chemicals and experiments and bossing people around, and has been since the age 13. (Child-labor laws were disregarded a long time ago. The government and The Project WAS the law anyways.) Adelaide did indeed get the family smarts, thus didn't have to work too hard to get the position where she could do basically anything she wanted around the labs, as long as the government agrees with it. Adelaide is a power to be feared. Though if it is to be feared by experiments or by scientists or just in general remains to be seen.

LIKE THE FIST OF AN ANGRY GOD. OR A RAY OF JUDGEMENT FROM A WRATHFUL DEITY. I don't even know what I'm hitting, but I suppose that's random enough.

Also, I figure that something as crazy as an experiment like this would have to backfire, or have a few mishaps. I love my crazies, so... If you want me to change it, just let me know.

Character: Experiment Name: Balin Verner Nickname: Balin Species: Spotted Hyena Age: 17 Personality: Hyena's and humans were never meant to mix, and Balin is a prime example of this. The horrible dichotomy between the two halves of himself often leads him to act insane and unpredictable. He's only been in the facility for a year, but it's enough that he doesn't quite know what to do any more, and he's slowly being driven mad. He's not accepted by many people, partially because of his personality, and partially because, well, no one likes hyenas. He's extremely vocal, often not controlling the volume of his voice, and often erupting into giggling fits. It's not uncommon to find him curled up against a wall, staring at nothing and giggling like a madman. He looks insane, but he's desperately trying to get himself under control. He doesn't know why, but it seems like the other experiments don't have as much trouble controlling their animals halves as he does. He has no particular loyalty, but is willing to go along with whoever will have him. As a hyena, he's more or less the same, but his laugh sounds exactly the same as when he's a human. It's disconcerting. Likes and dislikes: He isn't sure exactly what he likes, and he's so confused that he doesn't know what he dislikes either. For him everything is just a blur of stimuli, he can't differentiate it. Appearance: Before the procedure Balin was rather attractive, and he still is, if he didn't look so demented all the time. He hasn't been underground enough to become as pale as some of the other people, but he did lose his former tan. His skin is rougher, since the procedure, and his teeth much, much stronger. He's noticed that his fingernails have become tougher as well. His voice dropped, and not because of puberty, and he's prone to cackling madly. His hair had been a mixture of brown and gold, but it became coarser after the procedure. His eyes were blue, but darkened to near black. His night vision, even as a human, has drastically improved, he can see about a quarter of a mile in the dark in human form, and around half a mile as a hyena. Other: A procedure as radical as this has to have a few mistakes. Balin is one of those. He's also more comfortable and awake at night, though, he doesn't know exactly when night is, being trapped underground.

Thorolf awoke to the sound of soft thuds. He opened his eyes, it was very dark, and he didn’t remember his room being this dark before, it was hard for anything to be dark with the lights of the city shinning through his windows. He sat up to try and figure out this mysterious darkness, his eyes started to adjust to the darkness and he was able to see a short distance in front of him, but what were these weird shadows? He reached out and touched the shadows, they were cold and metal. Bars? He thought to himself. He felt around himself. Am I in a cage? He was too, and he was very confused to what was happening to him, he could not remember a thing all he could remember was that it was his 16 birthday and he had gone to sleep in his own bed, not in this metal contraption. Who did this? Was this a joke? “Hello?” He said, somewhat shyly. He strained his ears, which felt sort of funny this morning, and tried to hear anything really, to see if anyone, anything was around. He began to focus on the thumping that had woken him. He looked behind him, seeing a long tail coming from…him!? Thorolf was shocked. “W-what is this? o___o; ”

((Note for anyone lol I want Wendy to have an experiment she is particularly found of/interested in, probably because she was the one who infused that experiment with the animal DNA, would anybody be interested in letting their character be Wendy’s experiment? ^^))

(( Yay yay no school tomorrow for me! In my happiness I shall try to RP. c: ))

She slammed her hand down with a resounding smack. It echoed in the large colourless room, one of the many in the labs situated downtown.

"What to do you mean 'it's gone'!?" she hissed. What kind of idiots where they? She raised her hand and slammed it down again. The people in front of her jumped.

"Get your asses out there now and find it. Kill it. Or it'll be your heads." she spat and spun around to march out the door.

'It' was the second experiment to escape this month. Gardens was practically hyperventilating with all the breathing she's doing down Delacroix's neck. When she hears about this one, she'll eat everyone alive. Serves them right for letting one go, Delacroix thought.

With a sour look on her face Delacroix made her way down the bustling hallway. They were all scientists and business men and government workers and the like. They talked and laughed as they went about their business. Hah. If they even heard a rumour that one of the experiments escaped they'd rampage. Those teenagers had a load of power injected into them. Animal instincts and animal tendencies. A lot of them were driven to those instincts in the end so that they could hardly be classified as human. A lot of those had to be euthanised; they couldn't risk the threat of them escaping.

At least it wouldn't be too hard to track this particular experiment down. It was virtually insane anyway. It would probably kill some people and leave a nice trail to follow. They'll have it in custody in a few hours and then kill it on the spot. The government would hush up the families. It was a simple enough procedure in a dangerous situation. Of course, the government would probably incarcerate those disgusting ingrates who were on duty at the moment of escape, but what did Adelaide Delacroix care? Grunts weren't too difficult to replace.

In a few minutes she had arrived in front of a pair large metal doors with tiny barred windows. Room 100. This was one of the many experiment holding rooms. She placed her hand on the fingerprint scanner and waited for the machine to read it. With a soft beep and a distinct fwoosh the doors slid open to allow Delacroix inside. A few other scientists and nurses said nothing as they went around the experiments, examining and taking notes.

"Where's Gardens?"

ic; Ariaa looked around, she saw a field of flowers appear. "WOW!!!" she said quite amazed, and at a far distance she saw her parents watching her. Smiling and waving. "MOM! DAD!" she called out to them, excited because she hasn't seen her parents in years. But, it seemed that the closer she seemed it get, her parents ended up moving further as if they were running away. She stopped running and felt a tear go down her face. 'Where are you going?' she thought to herself. 'Am I alone?' she sighed and sat down but when she did she felt something cold touch her. She tried to turn around but something was preventing her from doing so, and when she tried to get up her head had hit something cold and hard... kind of like stone. "Huh what?" her dream became a nightmare, it was then she realized she was in her cold cage. "Oh, so it was a dream huh." Ariaa sat there, motionlessly sighing. She wanted all this too end. She's been in that horrid cage for a full year. In fact it was her 17th birthday and she had to spend it like this. She moved to the side noticing that someone else was here. But who? "Hello??? Is anyone there, if you are let me know!!" she let out a little chuckle. "Hmph. An experiment just got loose." She murmured, she could here one of the scientists yelling about an experiment getting loose. "Lucky duck. I wish I was out of here." Ariaa sighed once more and decided to go back to sleep, hoping to escape this hell hole any time soon.
