((Oh good everyone was busy when i was, I hope the role play just suffer from the business though and it is only a few day thing XD;))

Thorolf's reply: Thorolf was disappointed that the scientist Croy did not start a conversation with him but it just made his reality here all the more clear. This place was not going to be pleasant no matter how hard he prayed or hoped and he realized that now. These thoughts depressed him, and a strong frown appeared on his face. He swished his tail gently from side to side, half for comfort, half to get used to it. He continued his thoughts as he listened to the voices outside, trying to memorize everyone’s names and places. He had to get out of here, not only for himself but for everyone. The other experiments, the friends and family’s back home, he also wanted to prevent this from happening to anymore people. He wanted to escape and help as soon as possible but he was sore from the experiments and he worried he would not be able to support this new DNA quite yet. But he wondered if it would be worse waiting here…they could possibly make him hurt more if they tried to create more experiments. He slowly went onto his hands and knees and reaches a couple fingers through the tarp to lift it up and peek underneath to see where he was. The light stung his eyes for a couple seconds as it adjusted to the light. He saw all the experiments and the scientists and finally had some faces to go along with the voices hes been hearing. It was far too busy he’d have to attempt an escape later…wait later…what time is it anyway? What if it was busy like this all the time? What would he do then? I guess all he could do was play the waiting down till he could have any luck in creating a plan…he just had to hope he could last that long till then. “Excuse me. Excuse me! Can you tell me what time it is?” He had to get ANY info he could nothing was useless.

Wendy's reply: “I guess that’s true, I would risk getting wounded for an experiment too.” She spoke gently with a quiet smile on her face. She would not do it for the sake of funds though she thought to herself. “Well then if he’s yours, better hurry oh but of course be careful and make sure he’s not faking sleep~.” She winked playfully, happy that she did not have to deal with that disaster of an experiment, she considered him a lost cause. She wanted to draw her attention back to her experiment Ariaa but she was bothered by what Adelaide wanted of her in the first place. “So Addie, you called for me several times. What did you need? It couldn’t of possible just been to help out with the experiments her was it?” She spoke with interest but her eyes kept darting back and forth between Ariaa and Adelaide.

((Sorry wendy's is kinda short XD; did'nt know what else to write.))

"I'm assuming you've heard of the newest escapee?" she grimaced as she jotted some notes on her clipboard. She looked up and stared at Gardens hard. Looking away, Adelaide addressed all the scientists in the room.

"We have no idea exactly how this one managed to get through our reinforcements. Our iron doors. Our computer system. Our scanners and voice recognition? How? That experiment was borderline insane! How could it have made it through all that alone?" Adelaide slapped her clipboard on the floor in frustration, inches away from Abraham's cage.

"Tell me, Gardens? Just how is it possible?" Adelaide spun around to face the woman. Adelaide however didn't suspect Gardens whatsoever. Gardens was the one she could probably rely on the most "I need someone to find some new grunts to fill in the ones that were pulled early this morning. The vacancy needs to be filled immediately. And we need to check all the layers of securities today to prevent any future mishaps."

She turned to scan the faces of the other scientists in turn. "We also need to give the remaining experiments in our section a check up, mental and physical. I need a status report on their sanity levels. Especially this one." Adelaide jerked her thumb at Balin's cage.

"I can't tell if he's crazy or if it's his hyena genetics. Either way, he's a threat to himself more than he is to anyone else at the moment. And we will want to clip his nails down. Again. Pray tell, why hasn't it been done yet, Roy?" Adelaide turned her steely eyes unto Williams. She crossed her arms and tapped her foot impatiently.

"In any case, I need to get my coffee. I'm assuming, Gardens, you'll be checking Ariaa? It sounds like she's getting more and more restless these days." She threw her hands up to express her agitation with all the recent chattiness of all the experiments. She stepped around the gaggle of scientists and eyed Croy as she skirted past him. She placed her hand on the scanner and sized all the scientists up as she waited for the door to let her through. And when it did, Delacroix stepped out with a feeling of dread in the pit of her stomach. This day seemed to have unlucky stamped all over it.

((I... don't want this to die. ): HALP. I can't think of a good way to initiate the escape. And the hunt, since the two will go hand in hand of course. c; ))

"Well, you pulled about half the staff recently." Roy grumbled, pulling the clippers from a drawer and proceeded to clip Balin's nails. He shut the cage door after checking the bandages again as well as his nails. Everything was good, Roy would not let himself be at fault for more injury of the specimens. "He's not waking up for a while." He replied to Wendy's comment.

Kale smirked. The vents. Wasn't that classic? Many of the experiments were small enough to get in them and crawl through there. The only problem was knowing how to get out through the vents. Because it could come to the point that one was lost in the vents and could die up there. He huffed. Plus there was the whole noise issue. Crawling through vents could be noisy. What would happen then? Oh but past all of this, it was possible. Of course, you would have to find the right opening and get it open and, now Kale felt he was over thinking things. He groaned and rolled pressing his back against the side of the cage. He was ready to get out of here. If they were going to run tests on them all then that left a chance to escape. He grinned. Perfect.

OOC: Just an idea, about the vents. Heheh. xP I dunno. They'd have vents right? XD

(how did we not think of that? XD)

Samantha turned her attention to the experiment known as "Kale". He was smirking and looking at something, the vents? the vents! It was genious! no security up there. A plan fell into place in Sam's mind. Pick the lock, open the vent, follow your nose and you're free before anyone even notices you're missing! just have to wait until all the scientics were out of the room...

Samantha looked at the other expreiments, none of them really looked like they wanted to be here. She couldn't just leave them, but then, was a mass escape really possible? Getting everyone into the vents would deffinitley attract attention, what would happen if they got caught? back into the cages? being tied up? death? WORSE? And to top it off, Samantha wasn't exactly the gang-leader, super confident-motivational type of person. Samantha Rubbed her forehead, she was going to have to think this through a little longer...

Wendy’s reply: Newest escapee? Wendy looked at Adelaide with interest, a frown appearing on her face from this news. Not another one, can’t these people do anything right. She glared at Adelaide when she questioned how it was possible for this experiment to escape. Was she questioning her loyalty? She sure hoped not, she would have no interest in releasing an experiment, she couldn’t think of a single way it would benefit her. She was pleased when she herd that the ones who failed to stop this experiment were fired. This way they couldn’t fail her again, but it would be a pain to find new security. It would be a pain to have to check security over again, but it was necessary. “Of course I’ll be checking Ariaa, she’s mine isn’t she and I am the only one who is allowed to touch her. Have a nice coffee break.” Wendy spoke with annoyance in her voice as Adelaide left the room. Why did she tell all the scientists that RIGHT INFRONT of the experiments that was not a smart move at all. Adelaide was very reckless today; she clearly needed more sleep then what she was getting. She looked around at the other experiments, and she could tell the little gears in there head was moving. Never a good idea to give experiments hope. Now they were going to have reassert there dominance. “Don’t even think of it my dear experiments, judging by Addie’s reaction to the escapee the experiment had already been caught. And if he’s not here well…he’s probably been killed for his punishment.”

Torolf’s reply: Somebody escaped? So there was hope, there was either a scientist helping everyone or a hole in the so called great security they had. Now he could try to escape as soon as things quieted down, but again he did not know if they would. I guess they would have too if that one experiment escaped with out them knowing. Now he had to play the waiting game all over again. In the mean time he would try to figure out how to get out of these cages, and hope that the scientist who had to do his check up was gentle.

Balin didn't feel the needle sink into his arm, nor did he feel the drug taking hold of his system until he finally passed out. He couldn't even feel the scratches on his head, but he didn't know that it was a problem.

He knew the results of hurting himself, he knew what it meant when one of the scientists brought out a needle, but he didn't care. He couldn't imagine that sleep was bad, but at the same time, he didn't want to sleep. He couldn't help but jump between the two ideas, and sometimes he felt like his head was moving back and forth from the force of his opposing thoughts. He guessed he wouldn't notice if his head was actually moving. It's not like he noticed anything else.

He whined once, before falling unconscious, but it was impossible to tell if it was a whine of pain, disappointment, or relief.

Balin couldn't feel anything as his nails were clipped or the antiseptic seeped into his scalp, but in his drug-induced dream he was a hyena, and the scientists didn't notice until they stuck their hand in to send him off to a chemical sleep. In his dream, he bit their hand, and the blood loosened the bars of his cage until he could get out. He bit some other dream being, and their blood sprayed over the rest of the room, but for some reason it began rusting the metal, until the other experiments were free. Then they escaped. The details of the dream were hazy, but Balin could nearly smell the fresh air, and feel the sunshine, and he didn't care that his 'outside' looked just like the lab, because he couldn't remember what outside looked like any more.

In another person, this dream would be quickly forgotten about when they woke, and if they did remember it, then it would be easily dismissed as a fantasy. Balin had no such ability. All his dreams felt real, because he had no way to differentiate between them and reality. When he awoke he would keen for the 'loss' of his fresh air an sunshine, without being able to remember that he didn't actually have it.

ooc; OMG IM SO SORRY :( I don't want this RP to die either :L I was just busy with so many things :( But don't worry from this point on my schedule is clear ^ ^ oh and in my opinion i think the best time to escape is when all the scientists have left the room and then the experiments could think of a plan, and maybe we could use the vents like suggested ^ ^]x
ic; "Oh, good gracious.. I'm getting out of here. I don't care if I just started my shift, this is pissing me off. I don't care anymore..." Croy proclaimed, he too was getting reckless because of that stupid hyena and the fact that his sister was there, in the same room. Croy couldn't stand the fact that his own sister Ariaa would become an experiment but he didn't care as much as he wanted to be away from her. The two used to be so close but when the accident with their parents happened they each went their separate ways. "Good bye." he said and walked out of the room. "Oh and Wendy. Ariaa may be your experiment, but she's my sister. So don't think your the only one she has. She may hate me as much as I hate her, but she's still my sister so if you dare hurt her in any way I'll be sure to make you regret it. But of course, you seem pretty nice so I trust you, but at the same time, I feel as though your trying to manipulate her. She may be an experiment and I may be a scientist but we're still family." he smiled and glared at Ariaa who seemed to have looked confused and walked out of that dark horrible room.
"I'm here to you know. Don't I have a say in all this?" Ariaa glared back at Croy who had just left the room. She watched as Adelaide left as well, and listened to Adelaide talk about giving us all check ups. "I'm not getting reckless... I'm just... never mind." Ariaa let out a sigh, she knew no matter what she said nothing was going to change. Her red eyes moved around the room searching for ways to escape. Her purple hair brushed her cheek and her tummy was rumbling. "Gahh... IM HUNGRY!! When are you ever going to feed us?" she asked, maybe she was getting a bit reckless after all. Her owl like eyes searched the room in their night vision state and watched as the others made some ruckus. She first forgot she was an owl but then she realized that she could see clearly in the dark and remembered again. She remembered all the way up to the day when she was sent to the facility. It was a year ago on her sixteenth birthday and she asked where she was being taken, she didn't particularly know who had taken her but she had a hunch that her day wasn't going to as pleasant as expected. Of course she was right, it was then when she met Wendy. She seemed nice, she took care of Ariaa from when she became an experiment till now. Ariaa very much liked Wendy and was glad that even her own brother trusted her too, but she did agree with him at one particular point and that was when he said that Wendy may be trying to manipulate her. Ariaa felt that way a bit, but she didn't know if it was true. She decided to clear her mind from this and thought about escaping. 'If all the scientist leave, maybe I'll have a chance to talk to the other experiments about actually escaping this place.'
ooc; It's a little short, and I'm sorry if I did not reply to any of your comments said to Ariaa or Croy, I actually just skimmed through all your posts and never really got quite the time to understand them so I hope this is fine ^ ^]x

Hey guys, sorry to say, but I'm going to have to quit this RP. But, before I go, I'd like to help you guys escape. I was thinking that instead of just randomly disappearing, Balin could go nuts (well... More nuts) and wait until they were about to experiment on him or something, and then go berserk, killing scientists, and generally causing a ruckus. Someone could snatch some keys or something and then get out while everyone is distracted by the murderous hyena.

If not, then I'll just have Balin taken for a test and never brought back.}

Aw It’s unfortunate that you have to quit 3: your character was so unique. But if you truly have to leave, yes I agree with both the ideas with Balin. More so the first idea XD that would create so much drama and add so much excitement to this rp. As long as the scientists he kills are just un-named ones and not anyone’s character I am sure it will be fine.

Wendy’s reply: She smiled curiously at Croy. Is there still some family feelings mixed up inside you? How interesting…and reckless. She thought to herself. Brining too much of any emotion into the laboratory was never a good idea, and to worsen his situation he trusted her, now that she truly found amusing. “Of course I won’t hurt her.” She reassured him as he stepped out the door. “Not unless I have a reason of course.” She muttered to herself grinning. She was interested at Croy’s comments but they also bothered her. He seemed a little too brave to be speaking to her like that, she may have to watch him. She brushed off the fact of his dominance, if he ever got in the way she could easily slip some tranquilizer into his coffee or maybe something worse. She turned her attention to Ariaa once she started complaining about hunger. “Oh that’s right.” She stepped over closer to Ariaa’s cage. “You guys haven’t been fed yet. Well I’ll tell you what. If you behave during your check up then I’ll feed you, and I’ll get you some real food. None of that slop crap. Deal?” She smiled, “Just wait here while I get everything ready for your check up.” She winked, and headed for the door. “Oh and don’t displease me during your test Ariaa or I may forget to feed you at all~ but I know you won’t do that.” She left the experiment prison and walked down the hallway. She began thinking of the materials she would need for Ariaa’s ‘Check up’. She began getting excited when she though about the testing she would do and the information she would find. She did not understand why all the rest of the scientists were so cranky. An experiment escaped but was caught. The failure security was released so no more escapes would result. And now, they were able to start some serious testing. Today was a day of improvement, and it was going smoothly.

Torolf’s reply: Torolf watched as one by one the scientist began to leave. Only a hand full were left now, maybe by a stroke of luck they would exit and he could figure out a way out of this room. Until then he could work on the first obstacle, the cage. The black tarp hindered him from seeing anything outside of his cage but it also stopped the scientists from seeing in. That includes any mischief he got into. He just hoped none of them would randomly peer over and check on him, and just continue ignoring him like they have been. He got up from his hands and knees and sat down in his cage looking at the lock. It was no ordinary key lock, it was high tech it was like nothing he ever seen before. He felt it gently trying to get a better vision of it in the dark with out pushing any buttons. It had a screen for scanning something, most likely a finger print. There must be a password to go with it, since there were several buttons on the lock as well. He stopped touching it, he rubbed his sore jaw as he tried to figure out a way to break or unlock it. He opened his mouth to try and stretch his sore jaw when he noticed that it opened an unnaturally large amount. He closed it quickly thinking it was broken. He though about it for a minute and tried opening it again, it did not hurt anymore then it normally did when it was closed…could this be from the DNA testing. He closed his mouth and looked at his tail. Oh if only he knew what animal he had been mixed with then maybe he could test out what sort of strengths he had. He felt his teeth, they were sharp, like a dogs. Maybe he could crush this lock, or maybe at least a bolt that held it together. He searched the door, looking for anything to test. He would risk breaking all his teeth, hell he would risk getting electrocuted to get out of here. From what he herd, staying her wasn’t going to offer him much more then that. Those risked seemed worth it for freedom and he has only been here a couple hours, he couldn’t even imagined what the others were feeling.

((oops sorry, the replies turned out a bit long XD;; ))

Ooc: I am so sorry guys! I had a very busy weekend. I should have said I have said something. But heads up-I probably won't be able to reply on the weekends seeing as how I'm never home.

Bic: Nathaniel listened silently, tapping away at his keyboard. Apparently he wasn't the only one wondering how in the world one experiment managed to get away from a high-tech facility such as this one. There were plenty of ways, yes. Brute strength, actual intelligence, coming up with a reasonable plan; he could go on for hours. Sometimes he felt as though everyone shouldn't underestimate these experiments. Some of them did have actual schooling before they were captured so they may have the intelligence to escape. 'That's why I'm here.' he thought, mousing around on the computer for a moment before standing up. 'To out-smart anyone who thinks they can get past my security system.' Everything updated, Nathaniel made his way out of the experiment room, moving to a new one to continue his computer updates.

Eyes closed and ears pinned back, Abraham listened as one by one the scientist left the room, talking of check-ups and food. As they exited the room seemed to be getting quieter-though of course some of his fellow experiments continued with their chattering-and the fox-man could finally feel the sleep taking over his body. 'Thank God, he thought with a smirk on his lips. The saying striked him as funny. What had God done for them? Besides get them locked in cages of course. The thought stired a memory in him, of something he learned in history class a very long time ago. He couldn't remember the name but he did remember people being locked up, starved, experimented on, even killed. They were practically in the same position now. But unlike back then there was no one here to rescue them; no one even knew about them! The only one's that could save them would be themselves and fat chance they would get!

Abraham yawned, trying to curl up as tight as he could. Before finally letting sleep pull him in, he erased all thoughts of The Holocaust from his mind. It was an old event, nothing that needed to be thought about except possibly one thing-escape. They all couldn't have stayed there to be starved and tortured so how did they escape their oppressors? Back then they had their technology as they do now. Probably not as advanced but it was something to think about. Some people had to get away but how? With that last thought on his mind, Abraham finally fell back to sleep, his last thoughts of escape. From the old torturous camps of then to the experimentation of now.

Ooc: Okay, sorry it took me a while to reply. But I'm here now... XD And this is like Maximum Ride. x3 The experiments are in for hell. Also, yes, I like that idea with Balin. ^^

Roy frowned, now that the experiments were quite he had to wonder why, they hadn't had trouble chatting earlier. Aside from Ariaa speaking to Croy, which he thought the whole thing was rather unethical, the rest were quite. It made him wonder, though with Nathaniel tapping away at the keyboard, Roy figured he was upping security simply through that. But he himself would have to keep an eye open. Suspicions high and what not. Rubbing the back of his head he went to checking the locks on the cages and how sturdy the cages were for that matter. Were they looking weak? He couldn't be positive but the cages were pretty sturdy anyway. After this he left, he'd probably have to work on more security checks.

Kale rubbed his head against the bars on the cage and closed his eyes. He didn't want to fall asleep yet. He wanted to wait till the scientists left and try to get the others attention. Flicking his eyes around he worried about the cameras. But there was no sound in the room they watch the videos of. He knew that for a fact. So talking wouldn't be a problem so long as they weren't so loud that they alerted someone that may walk by. Yawning he knew he would much rather be asleep, but after he'd though of the vents, and with the scientists upping security, it might just get worse and worse till escaping was impossible. He knew tonight it wouldn't be possible, so he felt that way, since they needed a plan. Tomorrow though would be ideal. Everyone would be moving around for check-ups, working on security, and multiple other things, there would be openings.

Ooc: By the way, sorry for the fail post. xP

((I don’t want this rp to die so imma post something XD;))

Thorolf continued feeling for bolts in the bars of his cage. He found many but the ones that interested him the most was the two round shaped bolts, one placed on the top of the bar and the other on the bottom. He measured the width between each bar using his body. He could not fit through the bars width right now but if he managed to loosen one bar it might just be wide enough for him to slip through. All he had to do was get rid of those two bolts. He peeked underneath the tarp, even fewer scientists were around, and the ones that were around were not hovering over them. It wasn’t the perfect time to try and escape, but Thorolf figured a good time was as good as any. He bit down on the small bump of the bolt. He pulled back, rubbing his teeth. Maybe his teeth weren’t as strong as he original thought they had become. He couldn’t crush the bolts…he began to get upset, was there no way to get out of this? No no there had to be. Maybe if he just could loosen them. He put his teeth around the bolt once again. Instead of biting down hard he turned his head side ways to loosen it and it was working. It hurt like hell though, and the feeling of the cold metal against his teeth made him uneasy. After loosening the bolt so it stood out a couple of centimetres from the bar, he continued onto the seconded one and did the same. He rubbed his teeth; he seemed to have chipped one of his front teeth. But was it worth it? He pushed and pulled on the bar and it was loose. When he decided it was the perfect time he could just give it one sharp kick and squeeze himself through. But what would he do after that? He had no clue. He peeked underneath the tarp once more and started darting his eyes around the room, trying to find a way to get out of this room.

(hey guys, sorry for not posting for so long, been kinda busy ^^")

There were still a few scientist around but they seemed pretty busy with other things. Sam was bored so she figued it was a good time to take a look at this lock. she couldnt see it vey well seing as it was on the other side of the door and pressing her face on the bars didn't help much either. Samantha tried a dirrerent approach and stuck her claw inside the lock. the inside was a lot like a normal lock except the inside was extremey stiff, nothing on the inside moved. Samantha frowned and fiddled a little harder, she wasn't trying to open the lock, that would be a stupid idea to try to escape with all these scientists around, but it annoyed her that her lock picking idea wasn't working.

Samantha was really annoyed now, the lock was as as stiff as ever. Even trying her hardest the insides of the lock wouldn't budge. click a wave of panic flew over Sam, it was a quiet, unoticable click but to her it echoed across the room and bounced off the walls. The door to her cage was open. she quickly held it shut and hoped that no one had seen. I can't believe I was so stupid, What am i supposed to do now? what if any of the scientists find out that my cage door is open?! her eyes darted around the room, thankfully no one seemed to have noticed. Samantha relaxed a little bit, looks like im just gonna have to hold it closed until they clear out I guess...
