I'm sure this has been suggested a hundred times by cheap, impatient people like me but I would love, love, love it if the site did away with Magical Keepsake Boxes, and let me just buy treasure slots.

I was going to put in a long description of how it takes the wind out of my sails when I find the stockpile of boxes I had stashed away for my new pet results in, like, 10 spaces, and because I'm too cheap to pay inflated prices, I then have to fill in the treasure in dribs and drabs as the MC lets me buy more boxes at a pace that completely sucks the fun out of the project. However, I realise that people are just going to tell me to stop whining as I could get around this by paying up or planning ahead better, and they might be correct.

So, instead, I'm going to say it's a confusing holdover from the days of enchanted hypnosis wands and mystical plushies and other random account modifying items, and baffles new players. Makes my heart bleed, that does.

But also, it seems that Subeta tries but sometimes struggles to keep the pet aspect of the site in focus among all the HA stuff, so making pet building less frustrating might be a good thing?

I'd spend so much more sP if I could buy slots directly /knowing/ how many slots I was going to get. I'd be all for this. Or at LEAST to have these moved out of the MC so you're not restricted to 1.

This would be so good as both an sP sink and a way to make working on your pets more efficient and user-friendly.

I gotta say, I almost prefer these over the . They go for about 6 mil sP or 150CSC and you get a minimum increase of 10 slots...dunno if you know that already.

Sure, they're far more pricey but I think its a better deal.

I do wish that there was a way to directly buy TC slots for a set number of sP. (1 slot for 50k, 2 slots for 100k, 3 slots for 150k, etc. as an example.) I do not see the point of waiting 12 hours to get somewhere between 1 and 3 TC slots, and that's if things are timed right for a user to get to the MC center two times a day.

I would much rather see an sP method of paying for treasure slots available on the pet's page, same with name changes. And of course, available at all times because otherwise what's the point?

I pretty much like everything about this idea. I support so much. I would just mass buy like 1mil worth of TC slots if I was able to directly buy them and not have to wait 12 hours each time.

The site has been moving away from having items serve "non intuitive" purposes like this, so I support the idea. It could be made purchasable in a way that's more practical (and easy to find, for newbies) than what we have. (Unlike pet plushies, battle shurikens or OLL books, the box has no other purpose besides being potential TC fodder itself, too, so it wouldn't even be much of a loss.)

Another reason for this is the fact that TC slots have a LOT more potential to sink sP, so, even if there is some sort of timer for the feature, a 12-hour one really doesn't seem to be doing much good for the economy :/

Definitively NOT! The MCKB costs 150CSC or 6m... And gives at least 10 slots. But I doubt it will increases more than 20. For 6m you buy 30 MKBs (or almost that) on usershops, and it will gives you at least 30 slots, if you're VERY unlucky... But pretty sure you'll get more than 40 slots, even with no luck

I'd miss the low price in the mc with the possibility to get 3 for the price of one if lucky than just buying all the slots: P

I think I am emotionally attached to the MKB just because I have been buying them since the day I could. o.o I would be sad to see them go BUT I am all for the idea of buying set slots! 150k gets you 1-3, I usually get 1 or 2, very rarely 3. I guess the whole thing is how much would you charge for something like this? I wouldn't love the idea of paying 150k for one slot when I used to be able to get 2 or 3 for the same price. Maybe 75-100k would be fair.. I dunno. I do like the idea though, maybe they could keep the boxes at 150k in addition to doing the set slots on the petpage. That way if you still want to take a chance and play the lotto, more for maybe more, maybe less, you could.

On one hand, I love being able to gift these out. I buy almost two a day (usually), so I have a small stockpile right now (gosh golly I need to get my motivation back on working on these pets...). So I'll be sad if they disappear. But if they were made to give a specific amount, and/or moved to a place where we can buy them whenever/however many we desired at a time... I'd be fucking pumped. I would also love an option to use them all at once, and to quickstock into TC's. Part of the reason I've lost motivation to work on pet TC's is how time consuming doing that stuff is. This is, after all, a pet site. Let's move some focus back to them and make it less of a hassle to work on them. It still wouldn't be a cake walk, we'd still have to work to get things done... But it'd be more enjoyable.

After a good nights sleep I've been able to log on and add a whole two items to my new pet. I'm now at the point where I cave and buy them at inflated prices from usershops. But I do so with a pursed-mouth expression, rueing every extra 50k and every box that gives me one slot.

Aye, as says, I've done the sums and the multi-compartment boxes still come out as much more expensive even though it wasn't that long ago that they lowered the price on them, so you might as well buy MKBs from user shops.

I need and want this in my Subeta life, please make it happen before I implode over a "Amigos Treasure Chest has increased by 1 space!", thank you.

I'm not sure about this. It's nice that people can buy them for sP right now, especially since sometimes people want to send them to a friend.

in a side note, even if you are buying the MCKB with CSC, try to sell the CSC (you were going to waste 150CSC, so buy a 100 gift card and sell it). It'll result in a profit of 3.7m approx. It's more than 15 MKBs. Using CSC or sP, the MCKB is way more expensive than the MKB

whoa, whoa, I'm absolutely not suggesting that treasure slots become a CSC only feature. My pets would go from having small treasure chests to no treasure chests if that were to happen. What I am suggesting is we should be able to buy slots through sP through a less frustrating means than MKBs sold in the Millionaire Centre.

yeah, the price of the MCKB has never made sense to me! Even intuitively it's obviously more expensive, but when you actually start doing the sums, it's pretty ridiculous.

Buying TC slots with sP? Support times infinity.

Treasure chests need a huge revamp in general (make sorting easier, remove with checkboxes like in the vault, make it possible to lock certain items in certain TC slots, etc.) and I think this would be a really nice way to start bringing a bit more focus back onto the pets.

10-50k per TC slot would be ideal if you want to buy them with sP. I think it should depend on the pet's treasure size and cap out (and stay) at 50k once you hit... 50 slots, or thereabouts?

If they absolutely have to somehow incorporate CSC into this equation... Get rid of the Multi-Compartment Keepsake Box entirely, but let GA users get a slight discount on buying TC slots with sP.

I agree with this 1000% I would gladly pay per slot than waiting 12 hours or having to pay more for boxes from user shops. I know you would love this idea :)
