are so versatile over lips. Over , they add more definition and make it look like there's a piercing next to it. :3 Over , they create a wider, downward pout. Worth looking over as the breathmints are cheap on the shop search. n__n

Things I learned making my current HA:
Putting boots like over - so many new platform heeled boots. It also works to some extent with other closed toed shoes etc. Thanks to the poster on the first page for the inspo!
+ recolors behind + recolors behind the base/hair (use default Subeta hairstyles if you can't find a wig to match a Costume Wig recolor) - instant freakin volume with an easily matchable scrunchie-looking thing.
Body blushes/glitter and freckle potions can really soften the look of tights/other clothing when carefully layered on top, and any lace cardigan/top (most are pretty common) under a dress = new lacy sleeves. Also, accessory layering. Yaaaas.
Just messing around in the wardrobe today with the cutout backgrounds ... layered the over the with the under both ... pretty pretty if you ask me :) Works well with any of the backgrounds that are mostly just colors as opposed to intricate settings!
goes well over
and work alright together, actually, if you want a very faded effect.

one of my absolute favorites is:
layered under or
I really love the Lililace Gray Days Liquid Liner over the Sassy Pink Smudge Crayon (can't figure out for the life of me how to get the pictures, sorry)
Okay, so i might be a bit obsessed with the , but they're really versatile. * denotes recolors.
Lacy platform shoes in a lot of color combinations: Platform shoes under * under * This would probably also work with any spats (Masquerade Shop) you have, but I haven't tried.
Marauder boots also work instead of the platforms if you can cover the upper part of the boot.
the layered over the and a black skirt like or makes a nice little black dress.
also the and make strapless tops and dresses with ugly or hard to work with top parts like the so much easyer to work with
I've been using for a while, and I found a few combos that can make it even better. or gives it a trail, makes it darker in the distance (I use it under the base), adds ravens, and one sits on the railing if you're using the bridge, adds hot air balloons. There's more, but with shared outfits broken I'd rather wait til later to share them.
I love love LOVE the ! It's so easy to layer over flower crowns like the one in my HA or and you can also add simple hair clips/pins on top when wearing it alone like or .
I haven't tried it with pearls/beads like or with horns yet, but I bet it'd look great together!
I have found a new layering combo which I really like. The over the makes a really cute wig.
for eyebrows that match lighter hair colors (especially red or lighter browns) you can layer other eyes over . also the over the hides the awfull top part of the braid and gives it a cute fringe
gives a real nice and crisp upper lid/eyeliner.
Who finds a tad too extreme can layer under or over it to even out that upper lip but keep the general shape.
also nicely fills up the white spot on the series if you like the shape but not the open mouth, the color doesn't work with the purple one though.
Also goes really well over , keeping that sweet smile but with a fuller lip!
Sweet! Finally a possibility to use that braids - totally agreeing about that top part.
Thanks for the tip, ! I gave my away because I didn't think I'd ever use such tiny lips. Now I bought one again to use over the line, and discovered it's also useful over the to make a more peachy, natural lip colour :) Of course it can also be used over the other colours in that line.
longer pocketed scarves
under or under or under . The other colors don't quite work.
a couple hair ideas
Veta salon style under - the small braid from the wig lines up with one of the braids from the veta hair.
under the base, (I have it redeemed, but it might work as an item since the colors are similar) over the base and on top gives you the ponytail from the spray with a different front. I think it also worked with other salon styles, that is just the one I liked the most.
gradient skin
+ with any filter or tumbled stone you want to use.
If the HA outline is faded, you can use to get it back.
I like to layer Harvest Graffiti Tops under other tops and corsets to get nice sleeves. are the ones I use most but there are also yellow, white, purple, pink, orangem green and brown ones so that makes lots of nice sleeves.
I found a way to turn daytime snowy backgrounds into night ones. You don't need everything to make this work.
I moved it into one spoiler since it is easier to open one than 3
[spoiler=the background goes under everything, even the base. I put a few ideas inside.], and I'm using with most of the other stuff.
These make the whole thing darker, and one makes it look a bit like it's snowing
(star theater 3000 seems a bit too dark). I'm using the piano key under the base, and the star theater over almost everything else. If you're doing this under a window, you might be able to ignore this and just use the flask of liquid shadow
making the sky darker, and a few small things that might make it look a little bit better
and make the sky darker and bring back some of the blue if you are using the star theater and piano key. If you want to add a bit more snow you can add
Another really small thing I found is that (comes in a few different colors) sits really well on top of . For some reason it doesn't look right if you use the lights under the background. (I put most of this in spoiler tags since preview refuses to make the post look decent no matter what I try, just like last time :( )
[edit]moved it into one spoiler since I think spoilers inside spoilers don't need to be opened. Everything else is the same as before.
