It's been annoying me forever that the qualifications for Super Pet are unclear.

All it says is, "Have the following pet-related achievements: Strong Pet, Strong Defender, Speedy, Lots of Health, and High Level."

Those start at 100, but you need 1,000 to get the Super Pet achievement. I know it's "meta," but other so-called meta achievements are clear on what you need.

1,000 is such an arbitrary number too. -Lots of Health goes up to 5,000. Not even a reward at 1,000. -Strong Defender goes up to 5,000, no reward at 1,000. -Strong Pet goes up to 5,000 but at least you get something at 1,000 -High Level goes up to 2,000 and no reward at 1,000 -Speedy goes up to 5,000 also, but has a reward at 1,000.

I'm not asking for major changes here. I know a lot needs fixed on the site, but please add a better description.

However, if you look at Split Personalities (another meta-achievement), its requirements are read as follows:

Notice how Split Personalities is FAR more specific than Super Pet? I guess the requirements for super stat can be reworded as:

[edit]I've spoken to the supposedly rude user, and I never intended for one person to get blamed for such a comment on a simple miscommunication. I hope all is forgiven and we can ignore most of the posts before MrCool's suggestion. No drama, it was just a mistake on my part for not being clearer with my "listing the 5,000" and why other things were said.

They really are unclear. It used to make sense because 1000 was the top tier in each stat before, but that is no longer the case. The super pet achievement hasn't moved up either.

And the "Baby battlers don't count!" attitude strikes again!

Super Pet is a long long way off in my future, but I agree with more clarity and consistency in wording... pretty much always.

Just so you know, I am training a pet and I'm 1/3 of the way there.

The reason I'm concerned is because 1) It gives a lot of trainers false hope, 2) It encourages "reports" that the achievement isn't working, and 3) This site is better than vague terms and conditions. Achievements are an important part of Subeta, just like the changes I encouraged to make the Potion Lottery more clear.

I agree it definitely should be a lot clearer than it is! My baby battle pet hit the first tiers of those and didn't get the Super Pet achievement, so I did a google search about it because I thought it might be one of those achievements where you have to visit a specific page to trigger the event. I figured out it was only when you reach 1,000 in each stat before I made a ticket, thankfully, but I can see where a lot of people would be confused.

Hi I've accomplished this achievement and I still think it could do with some rewording.

I also have this ach. and I was confused about it early on as well. Some clarification would be nice.

If anything the wording is probably more important to those who have not yet achieved an achievement, rather than someone who already has it :)

I agree that the meta achievement requirements for Super Pet are a bit unclear. I think the same is true for some of the other meta ones as well - the Taxpayer one comes to mind. I'm still not sure which tier of tax I need to get from Mr. Phoenix to get the meta-achievement. I'm just hoping that I get it once I have actually been taxed enough, but it would just be nice to know and not have to guess.

It is a good suggestion and I see no reason why it shouldn't be changed. I am just kind of shocked anyone would be that rude for such an unnecessary and unwarranted reason.

Gunna be 100% honest here, I made a rude comment about it because the suggestion of increases the stat requirements to 5x what they currently are is absolutely unnecessary.(even though the achievements already go up to 5k) Really, I'm mad because I know they probably will implement this which means I likely won't ever get the achievement myself qq

As well, when the achievement was made, it made sense. It's outdated, it's not really a clarity issue as it is a problem with it being updated.

@ Kitten So... because you don't want the staff to change the requirements for an achievement you decided to make a rude comment to a user...? What kind of logic is that? And when confronted you don't apologize to that user, you try to say it was okay for you to say, make it out like everyone's being mean and finish with a suggestive comment...?
