I like the rewording suggested. I also agree with what said, the Taxpayer achievement is unclear as well!

Or it could be upgraded to the 5,000 tier. I was under the impression they just haven't had time to update it yet. 1k stats is hardly a super pet anymore.

I should remind @ Kitten that there is no point to an achievement if you're not achieving anything. It's not interesting if it's just another number added to your achievement count. When it was implemented, 1k stats was for top 30-50 pets, now it's for like top 1000. How super.

Either way, yeah, clarify it. It never confused me but it can't hurt.

Yeah and that created a legion of pets trained in level only. The new tiers make more sense (2,000>5,000)

?? I'm just saying, it's not the top 1,000 pets. My main battle pet is only level 880 and she's rank 264.

Oh, yeah. Well, there are always people who try to get achievements the easy way. How do you think I got the Billionaire title. But for those of us who do it with one pet, it's still a pretty big achievement :D

Reaching 1,000 stats IS a great achievement, which is why there's an achievement for it. But does it really warrant the Super Pet meta achievement and title ?

agreed. I've always kind of felt like it should only be applicable if you do it with one pet, but I don't like to get yelled at so I keep that opinion quiet XD

I think we're misunderstanding here. The Super Pet meta achievement and title come when you get 1k stats in everything, including level. Once you have 1k level your base stats will be ~2.5k, obviously. If you do it with one pet, I think it does warrant it. Sure, you don't have the top pet onsite, but you have a pretty super pet at that point, and likely countless hours and sp and CSC spent training and working on the pet. So yeah, I think it's fair to say you have a Super Pet if you reach that milestone with one pet. The fact that some people do it with two pets doesn't take away from the fact that the people who do it the 'right' way have done something pretty impressive.

Seconding here. The Super Pet achievement became "reach 1,000 in level" and for people who do it within regular training of their battle pet, it's still impressive imo, even nowadays.

That being said, I wouldn't be against possible increases to that achievement (note: I personally don't have it yet as well), but NOT to even 5,000s because no pet ever reaches 5,000 level?! I mean not when training regularly, the cap would come before that. So it'd either have to be all stats minus level, or it'd have to be "reach 20,000 (or however many) total stats distributed between level, health, strength, speed and defense".

All in all, I think Super Pet is fine as it is and I 110% agree with the OP's suggestion / 's rewriting, it could potentially prevent a lot of silly tickets from being made.

Then raise the ither stats you have to reach to 2500 which would avoid people from getting it by training a pet only level. (Which is what I did in 2009).

It doesn't go up to 5000 level but 2000. Which makes perfect sense.

5000 speed is much harder than 2000 level.

Well, there's the "Hit the Cap! Max out your pet in the training center!" battle achievement, which is sort of like a much higher tier of the Super Pet one :)

Making this clearer would only benefit users.

However I'm only a lowly Tier 3 peon, so feel free to disregard my input since my battle pet's status dictates the worth of my word. ;)

Well, I'd be totally fine if they edited the achievement to become an even 2,500 in all stats except for level (and intel, that never counted for this anyway).

The 5,000 level comment didn't take into account the current tiers of achievements; it was more in case they ever wanted to keep the achievement at even numbers. Sure, they can raise it to the top of every current achievement and have it updated every time it goes up, if it ever goes up again - in that case, it should still be clearer.

However, given that people with pets in the 250-ish range haven't reached Super Pet point yet, I don't really support raising the bar to cap point. They may as well just create an achievement for capping (in case there isn't one yet).

@ blanche Intel isn't currently an achievement, but having one go up to 2500 wouldn't be a bad idea at all. There's quite a bunch of pets who've reached that already.

The achievement stops at 2000 for level because that's how many you need to train to 5000 stats. It won't go any higher as the next stop is the cap achievement.

When I first joined, I thought the Super Pet achievement was for getting 100 of each stat, so it was one of my first goals :P After just about three years, I'm six stat points away from hitting the actual Super Pet mark and I'd still like it to be clarified!

Yeah I couldn't really remember any achievement for intel besides having a pet join the SAI, indeed that would be a nice idea. Maybe "_____ has a smart pet" for some 2,500 points, or maybe even "____ has the smartest pet" if you reach the top of the score table ;) Which is about the same way I'd prefer the pet stats to go, if you cap/move a lot past super pet, you could get an all-powerful/god pet title or something like that. There's a lot of room for more awards for those who boost their pet past so many thousand points, while still keeping other pet achievements a tad more attainable.

Meh. I know that. Technically they could raise it if they changed the cap stats or the training system (lol, no) but I guess it does sound silly after all. It's just the slight more trouble of people explaining to newbies (in this hypothetical situation) that you used to get the achievement with even 1,000s in all stats, but now it's 5,000s in all stats except level because that's how the TC works, etc. It's not like they'd would ever reach cap in a month or like it's a hard concept to grasp, so it's pretty much irrelevant, hah.

Prize: Title - Destroyer of Worlds, which reads on the forums as "is all-powerful". At least, I'm pretty sure; I don't actually have that one myself.
