ooc: haha I've been having the same issue xD; It's been so long since I've roleplayed...just trying to get back into the swing of things fff

Gwyn jumped when a hand touched her shoulder and spun around quickly. “W-what?” Well that was unexpected she thought, having totally expected the response from those in front of her. “Uh…I mean…well it’s nice he seems to have found someone to get along with,” she said a slight tremor in her voice, “’Cause he seemed like a real…uh…hot head earlier.” She gave the boy what she hoped was a convincing smile before reaching her hand out, the long nails brown with the sand under them. “My name’s Gwyn. It’s uh…my first day here” she laughed a little nervously, vaguely wondering if he had noticed anything odd about her.

.: Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I had a tennis match the other day nad got back late. Then school work got in the way his morning and I'm going to have to do more after I'm done on here. :.

"I guess you could say that." She said noticing less ferocity in his voice. Drake was looking around the grounds, seeing if anyone was close by. He had heard a voice saying, "Not alone" but he knew Gabe didn't say it. He nudged Kanua and gestured toward a girl standing near them, a boy now joining her. "Do you think she saw anything?" He asked in a low whisper.

"No, she didn't see anything, she's just standing there in awe because she felt like it." Sarcasm rang in her voice now. "Did you hear a voice?" He asked to both of them. "I did, it was soft though so I though I was hearing things." She replied, glancing at the girl. How was she to know if she had said it or not? Could their powers, kept a secret for so long, be now at stake?

She was panicing and Drake could tell. He placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, she flinched, but didn't shoo him away. She looked at Gabe, then at the girl again. A few moments later, Drake didn't feel her under his hand, he looked over and saw her gone and half way to the girl. HE looked at Gabe and shrugged, jogging after her.

(I am back but I is quite exhausted and will post probably tomorrow =D. We weren't allowed to go to sleep till 11PM and we had to get up at 630AM every morning for 9 hours of rehearsal with little break every day. But it was tons of fun =3 )

Ooc: I'll post tomorrow sorry. D; I just spent a day on a farm and I'm completely wiped out. falls over That and it's midnight and my muse isn't working at late hours after a long day. XD So my apologies I'll get to it in the morning. Night everyone! yawns

Kara nodded as the boy said the basic classes. She'd had to take those the year before too. As things went on your classes finally started to get more open. As Ryan went forward Kara hesitated, not sure if she should really follow him over. Was there a point? He was right though. She needed to get back to the dorms and check on her lap top. She glanced at her finger. It didn't hurt anymore but it was still a light golden color from the burn. She had the ability to withstand massive amounts of energy like getting hit by lightning... But this one little shock had managed to effect her. She sighed. Lack of power control was annoying.

Then she saw the girl walking over to Ryan and the girl with dreads. The one moving had been with that boy. Sure she hadn't seen the use of their powers but she knew that that boy was trouble. Maybe going over there wouldn't be such a bad idea. She didn't walk right up to them though. Kara lingered about about three five feet behind them and waited for the girl to get closer. There had been enough fights today, if this girl was anything like that other boy there might be some problems.

(Wow I'm still tired XD. Sorry if that made no sense.)

"Yeah being unable to control your element is hard. It causes more trouble than it's worth in my opinion. When I was younger a lot of the things around me froze and though I always liked winter everyone else wasn't as fond of it. You could say the snowfall got heavier a lot. I wasn't good with control then. Now I'm better unless I relax to much. I'm guessing fried food wasn't your favorite when you were younger." A smile crossing her face. She would find it amusing to fry things but she could tell after a while it would grow old.

"So what do you do in your free time?" Her curiosity had grasped her now. He knew something about her it was time to return the favor. Relaxing the notebook in her lap she hunkered down to listen. Her chocolate brown eyes blinked patiently as they stared at Rigel. She hoped her staring didn't bug him but she had learned it was polite to look at someone when they talked. Though she couldn't say she had the same respect for most of her past teachers. People she found interesting she tended to pay closer attention to after all.

Rigel snorted. "No, it gets pretty old when everything you eat is burnt black before it can reach your mouth," he said with a snicker. He'd gotten better at it, though. If he ate something with a plastic fork, he didn't have much of a problem. Usually.

At her question, he shrugged lightly as he returned her gaze. "Usually I do something with Thunder," he said. "Y'know, walk him or play with him or something. It's fun to play with my element when I'm alone..." A slightly cruel-looking smirk crossed his expression as he added, "What's really awesome is to screw with one of those preppy girls' cell phones. They never know what hit 'em." He stared off into the distance, remembering a time when he friend a girl's phone once. One minute she was talking to her jock boyfriend, then the next, her phone was smoking and she was freaking out. Funniest thing ever.

He blinked. One minute he was in a conversation with her and the next...boom! She was off. He looked to the other, Drake, who merely shrugged and followed. This girl was crazy. He raised his brows and sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets as he too followed. It seemed he was never going to get to his dorm anyways. All these damn distractions.

They had been talking about hearing somethin a few minutes ago. Yeah, he heard it too but didn't think of saying anything really. His eyes focused on a girl they seemed to be heading towards. She looked a little nervous that she drew all this attention. Huh.

ACK! I'm to far behind! I guess I'll have to drop out.... Bye! ^_^;

Ooc: Sorry to hear that but it happens. I'll post soon I was waiting for a few more people to post but I'll get to it by tomorrow at latest. Sorry to keep you waiting. :3 Oh and Roseh my friend loves your siggy. She was saying it a lot last year and I smiled a bit when I read it. XD Since she had it memorized and all. :)

Ooc: XD Okay okay enough chatter back to rping for me.

Bic: Aya smirked at the expression he gave her at then mention of preppy girls cell phones going haywire. "Winters the most amusing for me. I just ice the side walks over after they've already salted and put it on a bit thick and it's like penguins that lack grace. I downloaded some sound effects on my mp3 player just to pass time. Scarves muffle most of the laughter considering I don't slip myself. Sadly it's a seasonal thing so it doesn't help during the hot summer months unless I want to get busted." A innocent smile crossing her face though she was far from it.

"You two seem really close. How long has Thunder been around?" She asked her eyes dancing with curiosity. She liked animals call it a weak spot like some did but they led such different lives from people and the lack of understanding completely what ran though their minds made her wonder. "I had a pet once but it died quite a long time ago." The words slipped from her mouth absentmindedly. She scolded herself for bringing up her past life. She had rid herself of that time years ago but she couldn't help but smile. Animals were surprising things able to detect such emotions it seemed when things looked bleak.

"Thunder? He's less'n a year old," Rigel said, slightly surprised by the change in subject. He looked down at the dog, who had laid down with his paw protectively placed over the yellow frisbee. A couple people stared at the dog, but he didn't care. "I like to think that dogs have something that people don't, orr dogs are missing something negative that people are born with. As long as you love 'em, they don't care. They love you back no matter what the circumstances. Anybody who's never had a dog--or any kind of pet, really--wouldn't understand the feeling."

He looked up at her last comment, tilting his head slightly in curiosity. "Really?" he asked. "What kind of pet?"

She spotted a girl standing behind the boy who had just touched her and her raised hand faltered slightly, smile slipping just a little. “Um…Hi” she said over his shoulder, wondering a little why the girl was hesitating to come closer. ‘Maybe she doesn’t like being around so many people like you,’ she thought a it warmed her to think that there might be others she could get along with at the school. A sudden movement at her peripheral vision reversed her thinking almost immediately; the girl who had been speaking with the temperamental boy was hurrying over. The heat in her rose up, filled an unknown hole with each step the girl took and Gwyn clenched her teeth to keep the flame back, though the chances of it breaking loose were not to terribly high. ‘This is so weird…no way she’s human…not a chance in hell,’

Kasumi noticed a crowd forming outside around someone so was rather curious. She wanted to see what the reason was for. Making her way towards the crowd she hoped that she could shift into it without being noticed all that much. She knew she risked exposure for other elemental s if certain circumstances came about.
