I know it doesn't sound like a big deal. I mean he's just a fish right?
But I've had him for 7 months and he acted more like a dog than a fish. He actually knew who I was and didn't like it if my parents fed him. Only I could feed him. And know one could go NEAR me without feeling like being watched. He truly was an amazing fish.

Aw, I'm sorry! :(
It is a big deal though, all pets dying make the owner sad. Pets are pets regardless if they're furry, scaly, or whatever. You still love them all.
And I know how you feel, my cat died a week before my 11th birthday. ;-;
Aww... so sorry about Sapphire.
I've got a fish called Mr Gorgeous that I've had for almost 10 years. I'd be gutted if he died, although I recently found out he was female.
I've gone through a lot of goldfish over the years, and I also had a beta. I'd always get goldfish at crappy little fairs as a prize and they'd end up living 5+ years. Actually, I've had a lot of pets die. In addition to my fish (I also had guppies), I've had a rabbit, two lizards, five birds, and a frog die. o__o
Aw, I'm sorry about what happened. You sound like you were really attached. </3
I've had many fish. My dad would buy like .. 6 (there's six people in my family) fish every time the last batch died. I think we've gone through more than ten batches in the last few years. ;w; Anyways, we only have like .. three right now in our fish tank.
I don't pay much attention to them though; they're really boring. xD They always swim away when I walk by.
I was attached to him. :C
He was the first fish that lasted more than a week. And 7 months at that.

Sorry for your loss. If you get attached to something you're gonna feel sad so I hate it when people tell you to get over it. My fish died last summer and I was also gutted.
piwate: Awwww, I feel so bad. :C
I think there was something wrong with my fish though. His stomach was all unusually puffy. I'm wondering if it was some infection.

When my first molly died, I sobbed for a week.
It doesn't matter how big or how small our pets are. We love them, and it hurts when they die.
Totally agreed. When my bird Rainbow died, I cried for about a week.

I had a fish I named Red. Oddest fish ever. Not sure when she died, but I could no longer see her in the tank. I would tap my finger on the glass(How I called her)she wouldn't come. She was also like a dog. I would have her chase my finger around the tank and whenever I offered to feed all the fish she would be up at the surface only when I fed her to get as much as she could. I miss Red, but I know one day I'll find another fish a lot like her maybe name her(Or him)a different color or something. We have lost a lot of pets, but I cry when I lose them. With Red I never cryed, but I just felt... Well bad about the whole thing like it was somehow my fault. That was three-five months ago and I haven't forgotten the fish with red eyes and the clear fins unlike any other in the tank.
Aw man, I know how you feel losing Sapphire.
I had two male bettas, Kristoph and Klavier. Had Klavier for seven months (he was the sweet affectionate one who would come to the side of the tank when I tapped and act like he was being petted while I ran my finger along the tank, and like Saph, he was sick when he died.), and Kristoph for a year (He was mean, but he was my first.)
Are they by any chance named after some characters in a certain lawyer game?

Sorry about your fish. :/ I just bought a Betta fish and she's soo cute. For a fish she's adorable. I think she's a baby because she's really small. I hope she doesn't die. My mom named her Abbey, lol.
I'm sorry about that.D= I can't really relate, though. I've never been able to become too attached to any pets other than dogs or cats, even though I've owned many exotics throughout my life. The Bearded Dragon that I owned since I was in kindergarten, about eight years, died a week ago. My mom forgot to tell me, though, and I looked in the cage and saw one Bearded Dragon instead of two. It wasn't that difficult to figure out what had happened. I surprisingly wasn't upset about it. That lizard was older than both my dogs and two out of four of my cats. She was long past her expiration date.
