Aw, I'm sorry.

I had a snail. and this snail was like a dog. He'd sit in his water dish when he wanted more water. He'd wiggle his eyes when looking at you like he'd try to talk.

It sounds weird, but this little guy was like a dog. He knew who we were and was cool with us. I miss raspberry.

I also had fish for YEARS. I had a catfish that recently passed named marshmallow. I got him when I was in first grade and he died junior year of high school. He was the sweetest little thing. When my other fish got sick, he used to slap their food down to them so they could eat and he'd rest underneath their fins when they were going through fin rot.

I know how it feels to have such a dear and special pet pass away. I hope you feel better soon. You and your fish will be in my prayers.

I'm sorry, I know how you feel. I had a betta too for 3 years, great little guy. c: This is what prevented me from buying a couple of orandas last week. Yeah, those big-brained goldfish. Fish are great, especially when you get attached and they recognize you when you come up to the tank (even though they mostly want you for food xD). But it's worrisome when you can't tell how they're feeling like you could with a dog or cat, you know?
