Okay, so. Apparently, there was a RAT FOOT found in an egg roll at this chinese food place down the street from my house. A rat foot! omg ew. My grandparents get take-out from there all the time. Thank goodness I only like chinese food from the /other/ chinese place. But, I mean, thats so gross! Any disgusting food stories you have?

LMAO!!!!

A RAT FOOT?! That's like the best thing I've heard all day.

Oh, god. Haha. I found a slug in my salad. I was at this little restaurant in rural France and I didn't remember the French word for 'slug'. So I just said 'I have something in my salad' in French and then pointed at the slug.

They freaked the fuck out. It wasn't that huge of a deal, but they were pretty horrified. :P

Oh, and a friend of mine got a live daddy long legs spider in her salad at McDonald's. :c

don't worry ,these other restaurants just havent been caught yet.

i think the worst thing that ever happened to me at a restaurant was cooking my eggs wrong. it was a hotel restaurant anyway so my hopes were high.

we have a chain here called Fresh Choice and my cousin had a fly in her soup. JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIES.

Makes you wonder what happened to the rest of the rat doesn't it?

I ate armadillo while camping once. We couldn't catch any fish for a couple days and we were starving (not much to eat but bark and fish in the swamp). Think I would have rather starved, tasted like motor oil and stayed on your tongue for days.

What makes you so sure there isn't something worst in those "other" restaurants?

A few months ago, some lady claimed to find a whole mouse in her meal. (Also Chinese restaurant) It was on the news and everything. The manager refused to talk to the media, refused to go out; basically just wanted to avoid the whole situation. After all it was his restaurant that was on the news for health issues.

Turns out that they lady sneaked the mouse in there for money. Came out on the cameras. ;_;

Just think of all the bits and pieces you eat and never notice.

Some of the food I eat on purpose usually grosses some people out. Whole smelt, venison heart, puffballs, and then there are things like sucker and bear meat that I only tried once and won't touch again. Only unwanted objects I've found in my dinner are shotgun pellets, and as long as you don't chomp on one with a tooth, no harm done.

I've never had to worry about finding something wrong in my food, worst I've experience was a few weeks ago taco bell gave me a nacho bell grandesp with spoiled meat, how in the world they managed to put it on there without smelling how spoiled it was is beside me.

But I've heard some sick stuff in the past details I can't remember My brothers used to work at burger king and my..cough Mom twitch worked with the insurance of a fast food chain which I will not say. looks around I'm being watched!

Knowing it tastes like motor oil makes you want to try it? You seem to be a very demented person. I like! Keep it up :P

It seems to me and generally most chinese restaurants are dirty. And all I ever ate from the ''other'' chinese place was this yummy rice

Well, it shouldn't be too hard to find one. I just would be careful, they could easily be holding something bad in them, that and I'm sure it tastes great if cooked right! Right spices and everything tastes good!

That's a lie, but I'll pretend it's the truth.

Come visit me, they live in my yard. Florida, great spot to find the things you should never eat, that all supposedly taste like chicken.

It's horrible. D:

The rattler we had the next day was so much better, even if it wouldn't stop twitching. I think it was like some defensive oil, either way we couldn't manage to wash or cook it all off and it just stung and gummed up and was generally ugh.

And this coming from someone who will eat just about whatever you put in front of her, my two irks being fish gills (I just have a thing about gills, the ones on mushrooms bother me too) and balut. xD

edit/ Supposedly they're okay in things like chili with strong sauces. They can carry leprosy though so it's a toss up on if it's worth it. We didn't know that fun fact when we ate it.

I wish I had armadillos in my backyard. That's so awesome! D;

Now I want to try rattlesnake too. As long as it's not twitching. Ugh. ;x

We had beheaded it, let it rest for about an hour for it to stop, then skinned and gutted it. It started twitching again as soon as we tossed it in the hot pan, maybe should've started from cold. No idea. Tasted pretty good, but it was just weird. Slight sporadic twitches, not like it was spazzing around.

Ah the fun of camping in Alabama. :)
