When we go camping we bring food along. :P I think it would be fun to just go out and find your own food. The only problem is that I'd feel horrible about killing the animals. :C

Well to be honest we were expecting to be able to at least catch some catfish. Or a couple little gators. We weren't expecting to have to chew on bark for the first couple days, just nothing at all was biting. Later found out that it was because of a storm up river and some temperature shifts.

Oh ew, that's just gross. I've never had any issues with restaurants here.

i went to this place called the dumpling house. then a week later it got temporarily shut down by the health department because there was a rat infestation.

some lady was passing by and saw this, and took a picture and sent it to public health.

I lol'd.

There's a Chinese restaurant near me that got shut down recently because when they didn't sell the food they would keep it till the next day. Wash it all, then re-use it. Needless to say, a lot of people got food poisoning.

i remember when i was a poor student, a friend of mine who worked in a big food store used to give me bags of frozen veggies once a week...well one evening i emptied a bag into my steamer, switched it on and left them to cook...when the timer went, i tipped the veggies out into a bowl and started eating...it was only after i'd eaten half of the veggies that i noticed the world's biggest steamed slug staring up at me from my carrots and broccoli...!!

i've not been able to face eating frozen veggies since... :(

People find flies in the school lunch all the time at my high school, and my mom warned me not to eat the salad at a restaurant she used to work at because rats lived where they kept the lettuce, and nibbled on it all the time, and they still put it out on the salad bar after rats ate off of it.

I've heard say that snake basically tastes like a non-fishy eel.

My boyfriend and I are planning on cooking his snake when it dies. We love us some eel.

The chinese restaurant I used to get fried wontons at was shut down for having skinned cats in their freezers.

Okay, ew. I read a newspaper article that a man that ate at TGIFridays in NY (I'm pretty sure it was NY) found a snake head in his vegetable plate. I laughed like no tomorrow and my friends thought it was pretty gross. It's gross, but hilarious at how restaraunt chains screw up so bad sometimes.

The outside cats my mom feed ate a rat. I tripped over the rest of it's body. :(

I adore chinese food. I really hope I don't remember this board the next time I go to a Chinese restaurant.
