Hi everyone, this is my first RP! Hopefully, it'll work, and the front isn't too violent... And I'm not sure what should happen after, so, we'll figure that out later. :3

Alive- The Final Revolution... ((It's a manga.))

People all over the world are suiciding, for unknown reasons. Its reason was only known by a few people, and the comrades. The cause was a virus, an alien species who were blessed with immortality, but no body. They wanted to die, but they can't, not without a body, and only a soul. Still, they capture bodies, and attempts to die with it.

Comrades are infected humans, but they resisted the urge to suicide, and were granted powers relating to their own unconscious desires. They had evolved.



A whole new world is appearing, but a small civilization is oblivious to the changes around them. Their great grandparents were the first to appear on the island, stranded there after a storm, with no way of communicating with the outside world at all. Now, only three of the first generation of inhabitants are still alive, but they are passing away slowly, but before then, they must pass on the rest of the stories of the outside world.

So far, the present generation of children and teenagers only know of the pleasant things in the outside world taught in school: charities, peace, and normal lives. However, the elders feel that they must learn about the nightmares of the human world in order to prevent any of those events ever occurring on their peaceful island, and are debating on how they should go about doing that.

Suddenly, inhabitants started suiciding, and the elders are startled, while the rest of the inhabitants are bewildered and confused. Then, the suicides stopped, just as suddenly, and a few surviving students slowly discover their powers, while the elders figure out who are effected by it, and tell them the horrors of the outside world. After all, they are different, aren't they? Weren't they blessed with powers to keep their island peaceful?

Half-Circle Beach- a beach that curves around the sea in a semi-circle by the school. A popular place for all people.
The Gap- a cave by the beach, warned to be avoided, but many people still venture here.
The Jungle- a large area of greenery that covers the whole inside of the island, warned to stay out there also, as there seems to be strange beasts in there...
Foggy Peak- the name given to the far off mountain in the middle of the island, and no one has attempted to climb it, or even reach it.
The School- the school.
The Wreckage- the wreckage of the ship.

Don't pick things like 'instant healing,' comrades heal faster than humans already. Or 'hallucination,' or 'mind control' and things like that. Check the Wikipedia page. Pretty much anything that makes your character's power tower over everyone elses, or control them. Make sure your power has flaws too.
I'd rather not have Shapeshifters (into animals/other people), now that I think of it... It's not exactly the sort of power that appear?

Gender: Female

Appearance: Alisia is short and thin, tanned from the island sun, and always wears her hair short, ending just below her ears. Her hair is light brown, and her eyes are darker brown. Alisia's loose fitting shirt and cut-offs are hand-me-downs from older neighbors, as clothing like those were rarer than the island's hand made clothing.

Personality: Alisia is friendly and easily approachable. She takes joking around as a hobby, but also knows when to be serious. She gets angry easily though.

Power: Plant control. Alisia can control plant growth- how fast they grow, and in what direction, and can also extend their life or shorten it. Alisia liked plants, but the only plants around them were coconut trees. The only other kinds were in the Jungle, so she sneaks in the borderline to collect seeds. She keeps a small pouch to keep extra seeds in case there are no plants nearby to use.

Other: Her family captured and tamed one of the local horses, a ginger colored, short haired mare named Scented.

Age (12~18): 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: He is short, only standing at around 5'5". His skin is fair, not pale, not tan. His hair is shaggy and about neck length. It is dirty blond with brown tips in the front, that usually hang in his eyes. His eyes are a deep, lovely golden color.

Personality: He is extremely shy, always blushing at every little thing. He often stumbles over his words, and does not like to approach people at all. Power: He has the power, well, he can't really control it very well, but every time he blushes, his body becomes not invisible, but very well camouflaged. He can control it sometimes, when he is in danger. This comes from his wanting to become invisible, so that he wont have to talk to anyone and embarrass himself.

Gender: Male

Appearance: His skin is olive toned, and very beautiful. His hair is a dusty black color, about shoulder length. The back is usually kept back in a low pony tail, and he has a front, side swept bang. His eyes are a bright shade of green. He is tall, about 6' even. He isn't lanky, but he is not bulky either.

Personality: Quite the opposite of Jasper, Caleb is very outgoing. He loves to talk, and does it quite fast. He is quite the charmer as well. He loves to run, swim, and do anything that requires burning energy.

Power: Super speed. This stems from his love for energy burning. With super speed also came an increase in stamina.

Other: Always keeps his small hedgehog with him, whether it be in his pocket or on his shoulder. His name is Boomer.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Her face is very light and she has shoulder-length honey, smooth hair, that is usually down. She has bangs that hang over part of her face, which are slightly and somehow curled. She wears tight fitting pants and a loose faded yellow tank top, accompanied by a mysterious tropical flower in her hair.

Personality: She is the lone wolf type- she is caring and sweet if you can find your way to her inner personality. She stays quiet and sits on a rock she knows from her past inside The Gap. On the inside, she hopes for love and someone she can trust.

Power: She uses her glowing white aura to move objects with her mind. Her powers weaken during broad daylight, and are stronger at night. Other: Her parents committed suicide on an outing to The Gap. She watched through her 5 year-old eyes the sight of her parents leaving her.

Appearance: Peter has brown hair with gold highlights near the top front. His hair is a short layered shaggy style with sideburns just below the ear. It has a textured, matted choppy look with shorter hair towards the back. His skin is a pale complexion. He has dull seablue eyes. He stands at about a height of six foot and his body is a moderate build. He style of clothing includes khaki colored pants that are ripped and torn at the ankle. He wears a black t-shirt. Over it, he has a white light-weight hooded cotton sweater. Around his neck is a tan leather necklace with brown wooden beads.

Personality: He is rather reserved in nature and has very little to say. He is not a very out-going person and keeps to himself a lot. However, he is a good listener and can be compassionate on rare occasions. He is also reliable (dependable) and honest. His quiet personality often makes him appear rather like an impolite person and very distant.

Power: Ability to absorb heat and generate ice in the process. His power manifested from his desire to not feel the bitter coldness of loneliness. He wanted the warmth that other people felt. His body is continually absorbing heat from the air around him so its always cold within a meter radius of him.

Other: His mother died when Peter was just a toddler, leaving him and his father behind. His father was stern and distant man who showed very little affection towards his son. His father then committed suicide when Peter turned 11.

Appearance: He has messy, ruffled red-brown medium length hair that sticks up in many places and droops down on his face, causing him to toss his head sometimes, when his hands aren't free. He has slight freckles on his cheerful face, almost always lit up in a grin. He partakes in many of the schools sport, including racing and soccer.

Personality: Cheerful, rowdy, and mischievous. He laughs often, and is just as friendly as his sister. Yem is playful most of the time, but sometimes, he is in an inexplicable solemn mood.

Power: A form of isolation. He can create an invisible box to capture anything, or anyone he wants. It cuts off all air supply and sound, and whoever or whatever is captured within becomes invisible until released. It can appear in whatever size he desires, and he can hold it for some time, even though there's a limit. Its reason is quite simple: he likes to study many things. When he was younger, he studied rocks and leaves, and kept them like treasure. Then, insects and birds caught his attention, but he could never keep them; insects died soon after capture. The development of this power taught him a lesson:he can never keep anyone or any thing captive, and it would only cause him sorrow. He tried to capture a friendly bird once, when he was younger, the one that always stayed around his shack and sang pleasant trills all day. He left the bird in his room and went to school. When he came home, he learned that the bird had died. Then he had wept brokenheartedly.

Appearance: Rhian has almond shaped hazel eyes, complimenting his luminous, golden skin. His hair is straight, and a dark brown. In the light sunlight however, it wields a strong red tint. His hair is choppy and layered, with bangs swept across his forehead, the longer parts of his peaky hair reaching just past his jaw. Rhian has lost his baby face, his features much more masculine. He has high, angular cheek bones, and slight dimples in his smile. He stands at a towering 6'6, his father actually 6'10, and his mother 5'11, they are a very...tall family. He has broad shoulders, his body is muscled well.

Personality: Randall is a hopeless thing. He can get very hot headed, and when he dislikes someone, he absolutely loathes them to the point where he could care less about their existence. He rarely is quiet, likely to make a snide remark in a serious matter here and again. His animosity sprouts from his triplet, Natasha, who fell victim to suicide, hanging herself in the bathroom. He was closer to her than to his other sister, Evangeline. Randy feels as if Natasha abandoned him, and for that feels anger and hatred for her death. But there's another side of the coin. Randall is a very different person with people he knows and adores. Passionate, loving, and almost a completely different person.

Power: Randall's ability is that of the production and manipulation of fire. This sprouts from his darker days, where he doused himself in gasoline but couldn't find a match or lighter for his life. He had told his sister back when they were younger that he'd rather burn alive. And so it happened, except for the teensy fact that he didn't so much as get a scorch on him afterwards. It also seems to involve his incredible temper.

Appearance: Terra has dull, blue-gray eyes and has a constant sunburn on her fair skinned shoulders. Her lips are a little too thin and her hair is short, orange, and messy. She's 'all bone' and very lanky. (She doesn't attract much attention from the opposite sex, lol) She's a bit small for her age and she wears a brown, patched-up dress with a dark green vest, white, knee high socks and pale brown shoes.

Personality: Terra has never communicated with males very well. Whether it be a stranger or a friend, she has always been an awkward, babbling mess with boys. When not with the opposite sex, she's very carefree and ecstatic,(static, lol) but she gets upset very easily. If someone does get her upset, she will cry and not look people in the eye or talk to the person who made her cry for the rest of the day. But usually the next day after that, she'll be her usual happy self. Power: Terra can control electricity. When she was 15, she was struck by a powerful bolt of lightning. But that wasn't the cause. She was always interested in storms and energy sources, so she'd stand outside whenever there was a storm. She can pick up electricity from the air and just by lightly rubbing her hand against an object. She can't use her powers when she's touching plastic or rubber, though.

Other: Her father is very ill at the moment and her mother never spends any time with her. She usually wanders around the jungle most of her days, oblivious to the warnings of the strange beasts.

And Roseh is now officially accepted! They are going up to the top, but my third character isn't ready yet, so I'll add him later.

*Note: they didn't discover their powers yet, according to my all important intro. XD

-BIC- Alisia smiled at her friends, who were chatting amiably amongst themselves as their group headed towards their homes. Even though she occasionally replied, acting as if she was enthralled about their conversation, but her thoughts were elsewhere: comrades.

In a few directions, she could feel a tugging sensation, and automatically, she knew that they were comrades. She didn't know how, but she knew that most comrades could sense each other.

Shading her eyes, she looked around, and finally caught sight of her neighbor, Jasper. Excusing herself from her group, she trotted to catch up with him, calling, "Jasper! I want to show you something."

She had discovered that a plant had grown at ultra fast speed one day in the Jungle...

"Ya ya, last one to the beach is a hairy coconut!" Yem taunted as he raced forward towards the beach, sprinting in the soft sand, way ahead of his friends, who were racing furiously to catch up. They were going to Half-Circle Beach to play in the sand. They'd jump in the ocean or play catch with coconuts, or whatever they felt like.

He turned and jogged backwards, watching his friends trying to lessen the distance between them. Then, he bumped into someone. Comrade. The word popped into his mind, blazing. Startled, he fell. Where did that come from?

Maybe he could tell his sister? She'd definitely know what happened...

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you. Are you alright?" Yem asked as he struggled upright.

Jasper, who was currently trying to climb a tree near his house, looked up at the call of his name. It was his neighbor, a nice girl, who was running to tell him something. He sat on the lowest branch, not saying anything.

He could feel his fair skin burning up with blush already. This always happened whenever he talked to anyone, no matter how well he knew them. His golden eyes were partly hidden by his bi-colored hair.

Caleb sat on the sand, looking out onto the horizon. He watched the waves rushing over each other, in a race to get to the sand. This was the only time he was calm, looking at the ocean.

He flicked his hair away from his bright green eyes. He could smell the salt from the sea, and the damp air pricking at his skin.

A small hedgehog poked it's head out of his jacket pocket. The creature looked up at him with beady black eyes. "Hey Boomer. Have a nice nap?" He asked the creature, stroking the quills gently.
