Yea.. So I was cooking yesterday, and my mom wasn't around... So I had to peel some potatoes without a potato peeler.. So I took my knife and peeled the skin off that way.. I didn't lose a finger or cut anything -proud- 8D

I peeled an avocado with just my fingers before. :P It took awhile, but it was definitely worth it. ❤

I remember when I was little, when my parents and their friends were shopping, the other little kids and I would play between the clothing racks.. I didn't realize until now how annoying that is X-x

yeah, i know there are such things as potato peelers. we have one, and then when we're two to do the job of peeling potatoes, we use a knife.

nooo, no no no no. when we're two PERSONS assigned to peel potatoes, obviously one is going to use a knife when the other's using the peeler.

Hmm. I went through a whole day without getting ragged on by my school buddies for some random reason. :P

just because we're two to peel doesn't mean we eat a lot of potatoes? it's just faster instead of one person doing the job.

Oh, and I just went an entire night without sleeping for a single minute (I think) and I'm still not tired. :o

out here, potato peelers are a laughing stock (did i spell that right? o.0) nobody uses them everything that needs to be peeled is done with a knife

i stink at cucumber peeling, but potatoes are fun to peel

XD We -had- a potato peeler, but my mom always cut her hands while using them (peeling cucumbers, carrots, potatoes) :p

I actually like cutting potatoes.. I think it's because they're starchy and tend to adhere to the knife blade p:

I felt quite good 2 weeks ago when I managed to cook oysters (without the shell) wrapped in bacon and people actually liked it.. :o

Hmm, I made some cupcakes for school today while still being a newbie at it, and everyone said they were really good.

Although I do have a funny opposite story - having a hard time doing something easy. A few years ago, my dad and I bought an 'easy-open' coconut.

We ended up trying to saw it open, throwing it off out two-story balcony, hitting it with a hammer, and finally using a drill to get it open. :P
