So, basically, I’m bored with all the modern, whiny high-school age vampires running around trying to fit in. I remember a time when vampires were dark, violent creatures, with a charming and alluring exterior. So what I decided, we need an “old school†vampire RP. I’m talking about 18th century Europe here.
Plot; Night has fallen on October 31st 1791, and mysterious invitations have been sent to all those who are worth knowing to attend a masquerade ball at the manor of Gabriel Deveaux, a young French lord. Both humans and vampires have been called to court here, a party unlike any ever thrown. Little do the human guests know, the vampires have been given free rein to hunt here, so long as nobody finds out that there are vampires amongst them, that they are slowly being killed off. Will you be the hunter, or the hunted? Will you fall prey to the children of the night?
Rules; -Keep it clean. This is a PG-13 site. Kissing and such is fine with me, but please, don’t go all out. I don’t mind more risqué stuff, but Subeta does, and I’d like to not be banned.
-Violence is fine. This is a vampire RP, after all. All that I ask is that you don’t go crazy with the gore, keep it within PG-13.
-No Godmodding. This means, you control your characters, and any NPCs, (That is, characters that don’t belong to anyone- minor characters like butlers, etc.) and don’t control anyone else’s characters. It’s rude, and you wouldn’t like it done to you.
-No powerplaying. Always give the other person chance to respond, don’t just auto-kill them. It isn’t fair, and any posts like this will be ignored.
-Power limitations are one per character, if a vampire. I don’t want to see a million and one little super powered freaks running around butchering everyone.
-Literacy – No one liners. Everyone gets writers block sometimes, but really, I would like AT LEAST 250 words a post. And also, literacy is a must. If you can’t spell, I doubt this is the place for you. This means no chatspeak or text speak, and punctuation and grammar are a must.
-Incognito. Remember, the object of the ‘game’ presented by the host, is to hunt, but not to be caught, or even suspected. This means you have to be covert in your hunting, if you are a vampire, and if you’re a human, you can’t automatically know that their character is a vampire. [Here, if you’ve read this far, put “burn†after “watch the worldâ€]
-Fandoms. Right. Here’s the rub. This, obviously, is a mainly made-up RP. However! If you’re a good RPer, (and I’d love a sample for this, if you don’t mind,) I don’t mind if you play an original character from a book or something, as long as they would have been around at the time. So yes, I don’t mind if you want to play some already-made characters. As long as they’re not god-awfully played.
-Twilight-esque vampires. No. Please. I have no problem with Twilight, I’ve read the books and whatnot, but please, if your vampire sparkles and munches deer, take them elsewhere. They wouldn’t have been invited if they don’t eat humans. xP
Obviously, this is going to take place in France. However, this does not mean your character has to be French, invites were sent all over the world with enough time to get there, so please, all nationalities are welcome.
[I can and will add rules if I need to. I don’t mean to be a bitch, but I really don’t want one hundred and one overpowered ancient vampires O’ DOOM, running around. It makes things boring. Limitations are fun to play.]

What we call YOU: Pika. :) Name: Isabella Gabriella Selliece Thompsett. Gender: Female. Appearance: Isabella is quite delicate-looking. Her skin is milk-bottle white, and her eyes do not look dead; they are a deep, sparkling blue, and look very much alive, one of things that help her to keep her vampire identity so concealed. Burgundy curls falls onto her shoulders sleekly, shining with the essence of a gleaming metal like copper. She has a delicate little nose and a pouty, rosebud mouth. Her lips are scarlet. She stands at a height of 5"7. At this ball, she is wearing a gleaming, red gown - for her, the deep red symbolizes blood, but to everyone else it probably means love or passion. The dress is strapless, with just loose bands of fabric around her shoulder so that her pale neck and collarbones are fully revealed. It shows a bit of cleavage before falling down the floor. She's wearing golden heels. Age: 107. Race: Vampire. Nationality: English. Personality: Isabella is seductive and intelligent. Her main method of catching prey is by seducing men into a secluded room, pretending to embrace them on the neck and then bite into their flesh, killing them. She finds it harder to catch women, for obvious reasons: her method does not work unless they are lesbians, and anyway, Isabella prefers a man's blood because women are "too sweet". Isabella knows exactly what to say and when to say it. She can act playful, but she's really a tactical, seductive killer. Watch out for her. Watch the world: Burn.
