I use a desktop currently but I'll probably get a laptop for myself in the summer, just because it offers more privacy. And everything is compact and all in one.

Both, I am a whiz with the desktop and use it when I'm questing but use the laptop alot too.

call me crazy but i enjoy using my desktop. laptops are nice...but every time i use one...the f' in finger mouse touch thing messes up...plus...i hat to carry it around...im too lazy...

Despite having a third-hand (parents bought it used, then gave it to me a few years later) laptop with keys that stick and a fried battery that requires me to have the charger plugged in at all times, I prefer it over my now-dead desktop. I use a breakfast-in-bed tray so it doesn't overheat on my lap when I'm not at a table or TV tray or whatever, and a Logitech trackball mouse so I don't have to deal with the touchpad.

Even though I have to have it plugged in, it's better than being confined to a desk. Besides, we have extension cords eeeeeverywhere in my house.

camputer... the laptop keyboard bugs the hell outa me... same with touchpads.

besides that the rather lew laptop of my mother seems to have more errors then the horrible old comp from me/my father. besides if i where to carry the internet all around me... i'd like never be able to draw pencil/paper again. since all places not desk are like a ... quiet zone for do other things then internet. XD

Just because it's private and I can put whatever I want on it without worrying about my mom and/or sister bugging me about it. Ty family computer for occupying them XD

I use a desk top!! I dont really care for laptops that much!!

Laptop, I can't stand having to go into a room to go onto the internet, which i frequently go on and off of, and i can get nice and comfortable with it ^_^

I much prefer my laptop, my desktop tends to be a bit unreliable.

Laptop! Because I'm a photographer, so I love to be able to take my laptop with me and put my pictures on here right away and start editing them. I love being able to get on the internet anywhere where there's a connection, and it's just the simple fact that I use this thing for ALL my business. Subeta profiles, photography, just, whatever I feel like. :D

It depends...I like my desktop computer, because it has so much storage capacity, and such, but at the same time I'd like a laptop so I can take it to school, or sit on my couch with it.

I don't have a normal desktop anymore and whenever I have to use one I get annoyed. Macbook FTW. I doubt I'll ever own a different type of laptop and I know I'll never bother with another operating system.

I want one of each. I loves my Adrian like nuts (desktop) but I wouldn't mind a laptop, just a nice simple one, for taking with me on trips and when I go back to school.

I currently have a laptop, but as I am moving into college housing I'm going to be buying a laptop... MUCH more convenient to work on projects and for design courses to be able to take the computer with you!!
