so every time my dad sees me with a blanket in the summer time, he freaks out. he doesn't get like, seriously mad, but he goes on a tirade about how "ITS SUMMER AND YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE A BLANKET IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE BLUERH"

now I live in Canada where it is freezing at least six-seven months out of the year. even in the summer, it can get a little chilly in the evening in my basement. I just like having a blanket, I don't see what the problem is. :( I don't use one when it's like 35 degrees (celsius, tyvm) in July but when it's only 20-25 degrees, idk. BLANKETS ARE NICE

so CC, do you use blankets in the summer too, or am I just crazy?

I use blankets in the summer. I like to turn the AC up and turn the ceiling fan on and lay on the sofa with a blanket. It feels so nice, esp when it's really hot outside. And, I do the samething when I go to bed. I sleep better when it's cold

I use this huge, heavy red Hello Kitty blanket I've had since I was 10. But then again, my parents perpetually have the air conditioner on, so really I don't have much of a choice. :P

it's kind of an unconscious thing. i get into bed pulling the sheets back, but in the middle of the night i do this mad freaky thing with my feet and pull them back up XD

I always use a blanket when I'm sleeping, no matter how hot it is.

Well, my mom gets these stupid menopause shots, so she's been having hot flashes. She keeps the house FREEZING and then wonders why I'm wrapped up in a blanket on the couch.

When I'm sleeping, I always have a blanket. I just can't sleep with just a sheet. The texture doesn't appeal to me as much as a nice fleece blankie :D

oh pssh, i always use blankets while i'm sleeping, i feel highly uncomfortable without them. except..i always have a fan running right next to me, so..

I use blankets alllll the time. Then again I'm right under the air conditioner...but currently the ac is on and i'm in shorts and a t-shirt without a blanket. it is currently too hot for a blanket. at night i have to have a blanket, otherwise i won't fall asleep. idk why. i just have my comforter though. i don't like the thin..sheet thing. i love my comforterrr.

We have no air conditioners in my house. :P But it's so damp and old it's cold anyways.

I use blankets in the summer. And I ❤️ the ones that conduct static electricity. Then I can zap other people with my electric finger. MWAHAHAHA.

I use them year round. More in the winter, one in the summer.

Lol, I never use any sort of covering in the summer (...well, clothes) unless it's a particularly cold summer (which it most definitely isn't right now). In bed I still have my duvet, but I'm usually only semi underneath it and I have my fan going. When I didn't have my fan, I'd just use a duvet cover minus the actual duvet.

But that's not TOO crazy. 20 degress, I think a blanket would be bearable. 25 degrees, I don't know how you could stand it if you were wearing clothes :P

I have this really awesome Peanuts fleece blanket that I love, but my parents are always like 'Why are you using it in the summer? Put it away.' RAWR. I like my blankies, thank you.

Most of the time it is unbearably hot though so a lot of the time I just sleep in my underwear plus the blanket, so the blanket keeps me warm but clothes don't make me stuffy. c:

I always use blankets, no matter what. Even if I am too hot, I feel unsafe if I'm not covered with a blanket or something. Usually, though, the AC is on and the vent in my room blows RIGHT AT ME and I get cold, sooo a blanket is generally required.

I'm also in Canada and in my area, it gets REALLY cold at night. Like near 10C and below, which is popsicle-worthy in the summer... plus we have the AC on most of the time. I don't think I've ever slept without a blanket and enjoyed the sleep. Even with a plain sheet I'm all "UGH!" when I wake up.

lol. i actually cant sleep without a blanket over me. i just feel so weird without one, cause i like to clutch onto the covers.

i move downstairs in the summer so i would get cold without blankets anyway.

i can NOT sleep without a blanket! i live in california and last night it was 102f and i still slept with a blanket! (thats prolly cause i sleep in the nothing in the summer hehheheheheh)

It doesn't matter how hot it is--I at least have to have a blanket covering my knees in the summer. Don't ask why the knees--I just have to have it that way.

More blankets in the winter though. Eastern Kentucky winters get pretty cold, doncha know? 'Specially when your college is on a hill.
