We're blanket-crazy here. There's always three blankets around, whatever the season.
I get this weird unprotected feeling if I don't have anything covering me in the night. Regardless of the temperature I have a furry HK blanket or quilt jacked up to my neck.
Of course, I'm right next to Canada, so it's always a little cold here.
I have a duvet all year round, although I have a slightly lighter one for the summer. I feel the cold really easily so I need to be covered regardless of the season.
I use a blanket all the time in summer. >> Especially when I get cramps and the like. Mine get really bad and just stress me out, so sometimes I get really cold even when it's hot. Having a thick blanket over me helps for some reason...the weight is a comfort. XD Otherwise, yeah, I use them in the summer. Hell, I even wear JACKETS around the house sometimes. XD
I agree that there is nothing wrong with blankets in the summer, however I am currently staying in a hotel with no air conditioning. Oddly enough, the bed only has a rather thick blanket on it and no sheet. I don't like to sleep with nothing over me, but the blanket makes it too warm :/
I use blankets during summertime :<
There are no bloody ACs here when you need them, though,.
I do that too :o Last night is was fucking warm so I pulled the sheets back and went to sleep in my underwear. However, when I woke up I was all wrapped up in my blanket!
So no, I don't see anything wrong with having a blanket in the summer ;)
