Oh god, so I was getting my drink on last night with my best friend, and I decided to blurt out.

"You HAVE to make me get my tongue pierced, don't let me wimp out again"

So 11am this morning we went to the piercer.

I sucked it up and got it done. It didn't even hurt at all. it hurts more to bite your tongue!!

Right now I'm feeling a little sorry for myself though. I can't eat anything and didn't have brekkie because I was too nervous. So I'm STARVING.

But, I'm excited and I cant wait for it to heal.

Congrats on such an epic piercing! I couldn't do it personally but that's because I'm a chicken ROFL. I dunno why but tongues make me a bit squeamish. They can actually bleed really heavily if you don't have it pierced right. But, seems you were okay.

At first I was like "Uh-oh" but then I read you're exited, so good for you! -applauds bravery- I could never do anything like that because I am a coward. Plus, I've heard of people getting their tongues cut off because of infection and such so...yeah, not for me.

I want my tounge pierced, but I don't think I'd look good with it. I'm also scared to do it. XD I'll probably end up doing it when I'm drunk or something...But then I'd probably get snake bites. :p

Tongue piercings are actually pretty bad for your mouth. I hope you enjoy root canals, cuz you're probably going to need them eventually.

You're lucky, my tongue piercing hurt like a BITCH (I have a big tongue). Mine is so big, that they had to pierce me with a 1 1/4" industrial barbell.

Sometimes I want to get my tongue pierced too. But I worry about messing up my teeth or it getting infected or something. My brother's got infected. D:

I got my ears re-pierced yesterday though.

lucky :( i want my lip pierced (i know for a fact if i got my tounge pierced i would swallow it and die) for my birthday but when i asked my dad just said NOOOOoooo. it's like wtf, i brought all my grades up this semster, my lowest being a C+ and i've never been arrested for anything I THINK I DESERVE IT.

I have never been one for getting piercings, but my sister has her tongue pierced. I got my brow pierced a few years ago and it kept bugging me. It ended up being more of a hassle, so from here on in, I am just sticking with my ears. =)

Congrats! Tongue piercings are awesome, I'm probably going to get one after I get some more ear piercings. (I have too much metal in my face at the moment XD) Glad you're enjoying it!

And sorry if this is a stupid question; but is your voice any different with a tongue piercing ? lD; My aunt has one and she's talked with a lisp/awkward accent for years because of her tongue piercing. I'm not sure if it's just her or it happens to everyone.
