It hurts to eat, and yeah I'm talking funny but I guess that's because of the swelling.

Sweetness! My sister got a tongue piercing and it got totally infected because her body pretty much rejects any piercing (the same thing happened with her belly button. ouchhh lol) I wouldn't be able to do it myself because I'm a woodwind player and it might screw up my embouchure.

Well, make sure to take care of it while it heals, because that would be a pretty nasty infection to get. I think giving my ear a second piercing in 4th grade with my brother's ex-girlfriend's earring was bad enough.

Edit: Could have been 5th. I still have that piercing too... o_O

what are you limited to eating? only liquids you can consume right, through a straw?

You can't use straws, the sucking is bad for it, not to mention painful.

Stuff like soup with absolutely no chunks, yoghurt, custard, iceblocks, ice, things like that.
