I think they are only available either from the zappers or obtaining via elixirs, as well as darkonites. Haven't seen neither of them on the adoption page.

Yep, as far as I know they're only zappable/elixir pets.

I thought they were normal adoptables, but I checked and they are indeed absent.

According to HQ they are not limited or special. Hmm.
