I suppose it'll now stay no matter what, but I actually find it less convenient. You can't just scroll down and see all the news or anything. It just doesn't seem right somehow to change it. I like the old one a lot more.

I'm sure that no matter what we say it'll stay anyways, but I don't really care for it. A homepage of a website is like a title page of a paper and when you change it, it no longer fits. So I guess I'm saying, it just doesn't feel right.

To me Ii DOES look like what neopets has been trying to frupdate ( because its not an update in my opinion. its a FRUPdate. ) thier site with.. which .. is not a good thing.. arr..
I'd say no to the 'flash'-esk style paging. Its really clunky, and you cant really see everything at once.
I don't care to have to scroll down on multiple things just to see ONE page.
Just... do not want. ._.

I guess I have a change of opinion...

In some ways it is like neo (the new items and news thing and notable pet/random HA), but in some ways it's not.

But... keep the left hand sidebar and I won't go nuts. XD

Putting my 2 cents in, I like it! It's easy for a newbie to follow without getting lost..it's eye pleasing too! And I love the different HA's featured with every refresh! That is so awesome !
And it's not like neo...with neo you need a road map and a packed lunch to get off the home page! It's a mess! This is done neatly and very easy to follow. If you want to see the news, just click on the news ! Nothing hard about that. You guys keep coming up with the best ideas !! :-)

I thought I might like it, but I didn't want to make a comment until I was sure... and now that I've seen it for a few days, I have to say it really isn't working for me... This seems way more cluttered than the last one, and it takes longer to load, and it just seems bulky. It is nothing like the rest of the site, so I move away from the page as fast as I can so I can see the REAL subeta...

I'm not sure I like it. I mean, the whole bottom section is links that are just repeated from the left column. And most of them are of no interest to anyone who's actually played for more than 2 days. Frankly, I'd rather that the news were displayed in a scrolling textbox that allows one to see today's and yesterday's news, not just one item. The bottom section could go completely, except for the stats and link to the FAQ.
And the fact that it clashes with every single theme except the default one is just wrong.
I miss the different pets being displayed in the banner. The random avatar reminds me of a certain site where random dressed-up pets are displayed on the home page in an attempt to lure in new users who like to put dresses on their unicorns. Bleaaah. Who wants to be like them?

It was a surprise, but I do like it.
It's cool that there's a random HA thing, and I like the new content boxes, for the most part.
I do agree about that foot, though.

The problem, at least for me, is that it sort of seems like everything seems to be updating to newer and better things, but they're all sort of heading in different directions. Everything's getting sleeker and more aesthetically-pleasing, but it seems like the body of the site hasn't caught up yet. But I'm looking forward to the recode, so we'll see.

I FULLY agree. The foot being cut off just looks sloppy. I usually love all the work that the artists on Subeta do, but this looks, quite frankly, terrible. Not saying I could do any better, but I know they can.

Hmm its been up for over a day now and the links are still broken. If I was a new user, I'd like the links on the page to actually take me somewhere. After all, if I can't see the site whats the point in signing up?

Why where it says cash shop does it look like it is offering mysterious floral handbag? got hopes all up Is it possible to just put items that are actually for sale in that spot?

When I first saw it I was like " O.O Wooot?"
I kind of like the old one better, but i guess it's because I love everything the old way better and i usualle never like anything new. I dont like change, which is probably stupid, but it's the way i feel.

I liked the old one better I think. This one's nice I guess. I don't really like the colour scheme and how it's just the Kanis. Though I love that pet very much it's a teensy it well childish. Maybe have the pag change like before. I'm okay with having to click news to see it and it does look nice overall.

It's a little annoying to have to go to the actual news page to see all the new news now, but other than that I like it. I do think it's a little unfair to just have the kanis and no other pets. Will it be able to change pets soon?

One thing I have noticed that is a little troublesome is that it is not showing the latest news. Right now it is showing the news from when the nightmare and reborn potions were restocked in the token shop.

I like the overall feel of it.
It bothers me a little that the users/pet/joined count takes two lines, it runs outside of the box you made for it (at least, on my screen it does).
I also like the idea of having the kanis cycle. It would give new-comers more of a feel for the site.
I would also agree with the people who suggested switching the Forum-Shops-Games box with the new items and news box. It just feels out of order for a page that's supposed to be an introduction.

Two things to say, perhaps you could make the Kanis change with refresh? Kinda like what we had previously, I really liked that part. Also, going to the main page and clicking the links off it seems to trigger a random log out, but maybe that's just my comp XD

m really not a fan of the new home page. Many of the issues have already been pointed out already, but my thing is that the newest items, cash shop items, news box should be BELOW the other box with the HA preview and the sub-navigation. It just all seems way more cluttered than it should be.....
