There, if I had the chance to try and please as many people as I could with the revamp, that's what I'd put. Inspired by Mortika, because those who can: just did. XP

Granted, it's not perfect. I'm obviously not the artist and don't have the same style as her, but I mimicked best I could. The only thing I think is really off is maybe the extra scales.

sob I am sorry, I respect the artist, I do. I think her new dragon IS beautiful, but it should be another species. It is nothing like the old dragon, and looking at the screenie of the old dragon makes me very sad. He has a completely different, look, attitude, personality, everything. The addition of the wings, the whiskers being gone, the head being completely different....well it IS a different species. Why not make the new dragon a different species and keep the old dragon? I don't understand this......but, that's just my humble opinion.

wow..definitely love the new dragon and the addition of the wings is great! the new chai is nice too, looks more free-flowing the other one looked kind of just there (can't think of the word for it) nice job!

Now that I see it, I kinda miss that innocent look in the old chai's eyes..but it's not TOO much of a difference. I did like the old collar though :3

People seem to have that idea in their heads suddenly. I, personally, don't like it because THAT dragon couldn't win a fight with a telenine. The old one wouldn't even have to fight because he was too wise and too powerful for even a mortiking to pick a fight with. prods old pic He was much more muscular and less... rubbery. I'd stretch this new one out and snap it at someone's back like a rubber band. And he had more than three scales. What's a dragon without an armor of scales?

The new dragon is very pretty (and the Galactic is stunning), but I rather preferred the whiskers and the laying down pose. And let it be known that I appreciate the artistic talent of those creating these images and I frown upon those who criticize them without logic. Then again, a tweaked old saying is that "Those who can: do. Those who can't: critique/teach."

It has wings?... Well it's about damn time. XD I was beginning to think it was a fatter version of the Chinese Dragon. This is a definite improvement. =D

As for the Chai... Eh, not a whole lot of difference but what the heck is with that unrealistic sitting pose? You had the same pose for the revamped feli too. (Which looks even more unnatural than the Chai. DX) But aside from that. It's fine for what it is...

My dragon has wings ... yay

I liked the old pose. It gave Dragon an ancient look. This one looks younger in this pose. It realy takes of the centuries I'll have to get used to this pose. Then again, I wanted to paint it Galactic anyway so .... In that colour he already had the new pose.

What happened to the Dragon? It's completely different now. Don't get me wrong, I like it, simply because the style is nicer. But seriously, you may as well have added a new pet. Why did you get rid of the whiskers? That always made the dragons cute to me! I don't mind the wings as much as I mind the lack of whiskers.

Nestly: The Dragon DID originally have wings, silly. XD That's why they brought them back this revamp. (Or so I heard; sorry if I'm mistaken) I think the wings make it look more like a.... Dragon. xD Rather then a giant green lizard with red spikes.

All I have to say about the Dragon revamp is: why does it have wings? I agree with Dragon_Heart. If it was meant to have wings, it would have in the original design. Now what's the point of having the Dragon and the Dragarth? They have similar features now.

I LOVE the chai's makeover, they are gorgeous now!

The dragon... well, i dont really care either way... I thought the old Dragon was boring looking, though it did remind me of China/eastern cultures immediately... now it just looks like a normal fantasy dragon. Which maybe was what the dragarth should have become and leave the Dragon eastern-influenced....

Just my two cents =)

I really like the new dragon, but one thing I would like is for the 'whiskers' to be added back onto them. If that were to happen, I'd be satisfied completely.

Nestly: Never been a fan of either species, but now the Dragon at least is much more appealing to me. I mean... what's a 'dragon' without wings, anyways? I think the staff atists had a pretty good idea when choosing to change the Dragon like that.

Why don't they change the name though? That's my only complaint. XD I mean, comeoooon. Dragon isn't exactly 'original'. ;3

Don't really notice a difference with the Chai. xD Guess I never looked at it much. (Gotta love those little heart-shaped paw pads though.) Well done nonetheless!

I hate to say Earthen, and I'm NOT saying this to be condescending in ANY way, but unfortunately we really don't have a RIGHT to do anything on this site. But only a privilege. It's even in the TOS that we all agreed with. I think the mods and admins just tolerate our whining when we complain. And I've done my fair share of complaining too, wondering why they let me continue.

laughs We're not even complaining, we're discussing. Granted, we're discussing not liking it, but it's not complaining. Complaining would sound more like "I hate it! Why do you always change the pets I like? Staff doesn't care about users' feelings and opinions. How come you had to make it so ugly? Okay, agreed. I just actually LOOKED at the paralix and realized it's very doglike from the neck down XD Although, if you (or me, anyway) looked at it you'd assume it was eastern by its face.

I like the way you think Zhuria ;D. Unfortunately for me, my pet is Reborn, so an expensive miracle potion is needed ;o;. Though, I don't think the Reborn Dragon is even OUT yet. I can't be sure since subetaDB is still not working for me. Well, I hope it gets blue yes like the RB Magnus does. I love this revamp, and I'm going to change my Magnus to Dragon immediately when the RB Dragon is released (unless of course, it somehow doesn't turn out how I expect it, doubtful as it is)

The paralix is furry and more like Neverending Story or Spirited Away, if you want an eastern that isn't doglike you're kinda out of luck now, aren't you? Some people might actually want an eastern dragon dragon, not an eastern dragon dog. :/ So the Paralix really shouldn't be the big "If you want an eastern..." choice, because it's not the true eastern dragon type. Eastern dragons are meant to look wise. They're respected like that. Paralix is... vicious. Not very wisely at all.

Princess_Isho.. We're like, on the EXACT same page Except, luckily my Ichy was only field coloured so I was able to just use an elixir to take him from magnus to dragon. The new dragon is just what I wanted, from the start, but I had to go with the magnus.

In my opinion, if you want an eastern dragon, you couldn't ask for something more eastern than the paralix.. The dragon is now what I envision when I think "dragon", the dragarth has fur and paws (aka - not quite entirely a dragon) and the magnus is obviously a gargoyle. They're three different things and I'm confused as to why people are freaking out over it.. As was said before - Kumos, Telenine, Montre, Feli, etc.. How many domestic mammals do we have, seriously? How is this ANY different? If we can have 3 or 4 dogs, why not 3 or 4 dragons? o_____o
