i normally keep my negative thoughts to myself on new pets, cause i for one can't draw.

but i am not happy about the new Dragon. that was my firs FAVORITE pet on the site, and this... is not the same.

actually to tell the truth it was my my first tied with the Demi... which you also killed for me which is why i had to give mine away.

if you want to make new pets that's fine, but i don't see why old pets that are perfectly fine have to keep changing.

i'm sure i'll get hate for being negative, and i'm sorry. i know i'm not an artist or a staff member. but i think i should have SOME say in the pets that i own and take care of. (and having been a paying customer in the past i think i should get to voice my opinion)

I'm sure this has already been said before, but I'll say it again anyway.

The Dragon revamp might need to be re-revamped. First of all, we already have two dragon pets, the Dragath and the Magnus. Both of them have horns, wings, and four legs. The old dragon was wingless, and had these whiskers on its nose. It was a more "Western-Asian mixed" dragon, and that made it nice... Or was it getting too close to the Paralix? Then do we really need four dragons? Maybe two? Or just one?

I think the art for the dragon is very well-done (as always), but...I have to agree it really looks too much like the Magnus now. I liked the wingless, bewhiskered dragon we had prior to the revamp. While I'm generally a revamp apologist (in fact, almost always), this really feels like it's gone well away from the actual design of the pet.

i like how the chai looks. its just the dragon. i dont mean to be...terribly discouraging, but the only reason i liked the dragon was because it had no wings. that way i could make my Sun Demon able to float around without wings. i think the dragon looks too much like the magnus now. the rest of its fine, its just the wings. sorry if im being to prude and rude.

I do not like the dragon for a few reasons, one being the chibi dragon. Something wrong with it's feet, one being slightly over-sized and the other being small. The second being the bloodred dragon, it's bodies big I get that but about the wings that seemed too be chibified. I'm not trying too be rude but since the other dragons are flying with wings that could carry their body what has happen too the bloodred? It looks more like a t-rex with little wings then a dragon. Why do the horns on it bend back and then forward while the red do not?

The chai is cute, it's fluffy and nice. Not much of a change there. II know you have said there may not be a poll for revamps but when it comes too pets that have more of a following with a big change it probably would be for the best too poll it.

There's something about the Dragon that I don't like.. I think it's the head; it looks a bit too big on the body. Also, the snout looks too round on the top. Other than that, I think it's ok.

The Chai looks very good, because it didn't change very much. In the other hand, the Dragon looks very generic now. It lost all the special things he had before, and now looks only like a big muscular dragon. With wings.

WOW Great stuff on revamping the dragons Ive just recently got a Bloodred Dragon and it looks totally awesome now, just a like a viscious Dragon should look like Keep up the good work D.

Aww the chibi dragon is adorable..... I know my hubby is going to be so excited when he finally gets back on here and looks at his dragons... He will be so HAPPY with the dragon revamp.. They look the way he wanted them too now... Well except the DM one is still lacking wings but these things take time

As I said in another News comments section, polls on revamps aren't necessary. We now have two head artists; it's part of their job description to make such decisions (along with Keith). And the entire art department can also critique them as well. Revamp polls became unwieldy with the current size of the site, plus they have almost always degenerated into arguments in the News comments.

I just thought of what the Chia would remind me of if it had an ice cream simbol on it's stomach, iI don't know which one it was or if it was even one of the bears, but I know one had ice cream on its tummy xD

Simply I prefer the new Dragon look, a slight more look to a western dragon maybe once on all fours. As for the crea urrrm, i don't really care in all honest ^^; Gold pets look good enough as a yellow one imo, it'd look abit too alike... Unless they made Citrus colored pets, that'd be kinda cool o.o -drinks OJ-

Eh, okay, looking at it again I guess it is creamier... :/ But the gold really isn't all that... goldly. Personally, I'd like a more french vanilla cream than... whatever cream that is, coffee? But I guess that just means I won't be eating any of the pets.

So... now there's two colors that look tan? Because the gold doesn't really look gold, it looks like a darker tan than cream.

Cream is not supposed to be yellow, which is why it was changed.

Any other yellow cream pets will be changed in the future as well, but we are considering making a new yellow color to make up for the loss.

They're both really awesome! Kudos to artists! I LOVE the new Dragon revamp! I knew they had to get a revamp (especially after the Galactic Dragon was released and it looked WAY cooler than normal Dragon colors)! Plus, the older Dragons didn't have wings! Annd I know Dragons don't have to have wings but...in my opinion, wings are better. Now if only they would release a Reborn Dragon (hint, hint)! ^_~

It'd be easier to swallow the change if the cream coloring was closer to the original too. Cripes that's not a pleasant shade to find your baby after not being able to get on.

I love all creatures real and imaginary but I hope someday I can get a creature that resembles a gargoyle coz they are my favorite.
