Wardrobe Skins!

We've introduced a new feature into the beta wardrobe called skins today! Basically, if you have a zombie or morostide zapper base, you can claim them in the beta wardrobe and use them any time!

That means you can have a human avatar, and switch back to being a zombie to pop into the zombie den, you can absolutely do that.

We will be able to add skins as prizes to achievements and events in the future, so keep a look out for fun new ways to change your avatar!

I think this is a really cool thing but am also still torn. As a 2009 boobitis zombie, I've gotten used to "being stuck" with my skin, and can easily cover it up when I want too. I probably equally hide it and show it off. It just feels wrong to simply convert it to a layer that I can use whenever I want. But thanks for making it an option!

love this whole thing i have been a love zombie for years!! BUT it gave me the option of the full on lovebug last stage skin and i only had stage 4 (i purposely stopped there because i love the way it looks now im terrified to change my clothes because i don't want to lose it :O

Perhaps all the old skins could be added into the Loyalty Box as one of the options, you would get to pick one skin out of it. (Kind of like how the potions work, where you can pick one for your pet) That would be away to get the older zapper/zombie skins out there without flooding the market with them.

Thank you !! I know 3 years isnt as long as some to not have a nose, but its great to have one now :) Glad we can still get in the Zombie Den back to the year we became one once we put on our skin :)

OMG WHAT. This is mega exciting. Like you have no idea. omg omg Love how we can see all the skins in one spot and see their corresponding site names. 8D

Too bad I have a gotta catch them all mentality and the list of grayed out skins is making me feel a bit sad for not being able to collect them all. :c Because how rad would that be?! (cough cough are there plans for being able to get more than one zapper skin? insert puppy dog eyes here)

WOO!!!! So excited! I only have one question, when we take off our zombie skin and put it back on to go to the den, do we have access to all the same shop years we did previously? Many of us never cured and so missed out on the fun new strains each year so we could keep access to the old shops and I'm just wondering how that comes into play.

Yeeeessss I can finally have a human skin! I've had the zombie one since '09 and wow covering it up all the time was starting to get a bit boring after over 6 years haha.

This is a really fantastic idea, if only word about it had come out earlier so we could have a heads up about losing our zapper skins if we cured too soon.

Aw, too bad itÂ´s not retroactive - I loved my Butterfly Bruise, but didnÂ´t want to keep it forever back then... :( But maybe (I didnÂ´t read all comments, so maybe someone already suggested it) you could create an item (maybe TS, MC or CS?) which lets you choose one of the available skins as an addition to your wardrobe? IÂ´m sure everyone would appreciate this :)

Noooooooo I said goodbye to my beloved Blistered Heart Skin after this year's Valentine's day cause I wanted to make a human avatar after two long years... Wish I had kept it until now, it was my all-time favorite. :(

Darn it, I had 3 skins during Morostide but because I went back to normal I cna't have them back? I think people should be able to get back skins they've had in the past even if they're normal now. I don't want to wait another year =(

Welp, excitement for this feature has now dwindled away to nothing with the reveal it's not retroactive, so I now have officially zero of the skins.

I suppose my hype might come back next zombie outbreak/morostide but I got very worked up over nothing, it seems.

I'm so happy to have this sort of feature, even though I've completely fallen in love with my zapper skin. Not sure how long it'll take to get used to the idea of having a completely human avatar again. I know for sure I'm not going to change quite yet. : D

SO.. wait, I had Boobitis in the first outbreak, I had at least one disease each other time, I've had a bunch of the experiments and so on in the past... How come all my stuff are greyed out? Clicking "claim" does nothing but refresh my wardrobe page...

Anyway, I LOVE this change. I can't bring myself to cure my wood skin, but I also find it really difficult to work with, so I've pretty much resigned myself to only making Vanishing Cream avatars.

I click "unlock skin," though, and it keeps telling me that I have none unlocked? Is it because I clicked to the human one before I noticed the unlock link?

ThatÂ´s a great addition to the wardrobe. I donÂ´t like zombie-, monster- or furry-like skins very much for my own HA yet I can imagine beautiful skins like something ice fairy or a darker skin with golden shimmering starlike tattoos or seasonal dryad skins and and and.... :-)

So are the temp. zombie skins from the vials just going to stay where you still have to drink the vial to get it and then goes away after a few weeks? Or am I just overlooking those skins because it's been so long since I last saw them?

I am so super excited that this is an option now.. but I kept my love bug skin for two years before I finally said goodbye to it and there's no way I can retroactively get it back? I loved that one, it was so fun to layer. I don't see why we couldn't all get say 2 or 3 vouchers for skins to get a few of our old favorites we had to say good bye to.

Would there be a way to make it so we could only choose one from each zombie year? I remember getting a whole bunch but I'd be happy to settle for just a few.. :)

Oh gosh, this is .. It feels like I've lost my Brain Rot, but I can just pop it on every time I want ;u; But this was exactly the reason why I cured my Harpy skin last year, so thank you. Hopefully you won't retire the Zapperskins then, because I have a few that I'd like to get my grabby hands on. It's gonna be so weird getting used to having eyebrows again.
