I'm not getting 100k profit though. If you refer to the screenshot I posted yesterday, I got 101k total from each quest and the items all cost 70-80k total for each quest, so I was making 20-30k actual profit. There's no way to make 100k profit from a quest that pays almost exactly 100k because the items he asks for aren't free. Well, those were broken yesterday, asking for the same three items each time, so let's not count those. Here's a breakdown of my Saggi quests today (he asked for different items each time, nothing terribly inflated due to being asked for repeatedly, just normal stuff for Saggi to ask for).
Quest 1: Received: 100,047 Cost of items: 79,690 Profit: 20,357
Quest 2: Received: 125,028 Cost of items: 107,879 Profit: 17,149
Quest 3: Received: 275,050 Cost of items: 100,839 Profit: 174,211
Quest 4: Received: 150,041 Cost of items: 22,526 Profit: 127,515
Quest 5: Received: 75,040 Cost of items: 72,490 Profit: 2,510
That's an average of 68,348 sP profit per quest, which you'll notice isn't 100k. Is this functioning as intended? If so, I'll just have to accept that. You asked "How does this feel?" a few posts up and I was just giving you my honest opinion; it feels inadequate. Especially after a few months of getting much larger payouts from Saggi. So maybe I'm just spoiled.
I did see that you added a new questgiver today though (Alexander) and I'm happy about that! I want to be able to interact with as many NPCs as possible. So I suppose it makes sense that you'll have to decrease the payout from the other quests to make room for additional ones.
I've never had an issue with the price of CSC or CWs. I don't know if I agree with those complaints so I'm not sure how or if you need to address it. I don't have an opinion on that, so it's not factoring into my opinions about my daily quest profits. The only thing I've said about CSC recently (on the thread from when you reduced it to 7 per day from completing Kumos quests) was that I think any amount you give out for free is generous and I appreciate it.
I really, really super agree with what said here though:
Anyway, I realize you're hearing a ton of criticism and conflicting suggestions from a million different directions. All I can give you is feedback from my own perspective. I know my opinion isn't the only one and maybe not even the most valid one. There are aspects of the site that I never consider because they just don't affect me (like whatever that is about the price of CWs or whatever? I get my three subscription vouchers every month, I'm happy). I know you have to take ALL these opinions into consideration and figure out the best way to make the most people happy while keeping the site running as smoothly as possible, which must be incredibly difficult and stressful. So I'm sorry for adding to that with my own criticisms. I suppose my tone with these posts has gotten pretty snippy. The reason for that is that I feel unheard and frustrated when the same bugs keep plaguing my daily experience, and when changes are made that I perceive to be a step in the wrong direction (even though I might be wrong from a broader view), and also I kinda forget that you might actually be reading anything I post here. It feels more like I'm just screaming into the void so I don't think about being as polite as I should be. I am sorry about that. I'll try to be more patient in my feedback and also more accepting of whatever choices you make for the site. More than anything, I just want Kumos to succeed!
I'm in full agreement with every word Synth said above!
Re CSC - While I won't fiercely reject any CSC I receive for free and I actually hate pay to play (I'm always trying to achieve everything through hard work - bought all my DPs with sP,... Yet at some point you are just doomed with that tactic - for example back in the days extra GA BattleQuests let my pet vanish from front page), it is not necessary to hand out masses of CSC, when that's the main way to support Subeta's(/Kumos') survival.
7 CSC for questing (providing you manage to do all not being GA - which is easy for everyone now thanks to Buddy GAs) summed up to 2,5 k CSC/year - that's a lot (basically of real world money), that you hand out! I didn't see any need to increase that even more, esp. when we're still getting MortyCards from Subeta. Actually I don't even know, what to do with all my CSC (which I buy to get loyalty points,...) - I need sP, and CSC are not selling well (probably in part, because people get them for free)...
I'd so much want to FINALLY play leisurely and do, what I really want to spend time on here, yet I can't. I don't even allow myself to do event battles, as long as I haven't finished my quests for the day, because I'm in dire need of QuestPoints and sP...
evening edit - I had to laugh so hard, when Wiz asked for a bikini top and an underskirt. Now that's my boy! :-) ...unfortunately he only let his secret affectation slip once, and he tried to bribe me with 40k. The rest was various stuff (other than Spells Galore, though) paying less and less until we landed at his usual 11k.
Saggi asked for expensive items fitting his stance, however, either he's on a budget or very greedy. He still gives only 100.04x k (weird, lol) - for 4 quests, one of them juuuust cutting even, the others with a ~ 20-30k profit. One quest gave 125k.
Maleria is more generous again - did she steal his money?
Alexander is missing his picture on the overall quest page. I was excited to see, how he would do. So he is the one stocking up on candles to be braced for a black-out! And bookmarks, so he can find his last read page even in the dark then. Payout around 70k.
Maybel asked for minions in "uncommon places" today, so she got tweaked as well.
Rumi no longer demanded Bits and Bytes stuff but asked for clothing and r160 & r175
Quests claiming, that items are stocking, when they are not, is still a thing.
PPS - I forgot: re CSC We're getting a ton from Bathhouse, too!
I like to see real data. Here is my data for today's quests. I have a gold account, so that's 5 quests per each giver on Kumos and 15 for each giver on Legacy (minus Sarah).
Kumos Saggi: First Quest: Cost of Items: 77,025 Payout: 275,048 Profit: 198,023 Second Quest: Cost of Items: 109,397 Payout: 125,030 Profit: 15,633 Third Quest: Cost of Items: 61,975 Payout: 75,038 Profit: 13,063 Fourth Quest: Cost of Items: 104,199 Payout: 100,044 Profit: -4,155 Fifth Quest: Cost of Items: 62,889 Payout: 75,037 Profit: 12,148
Kumos Saggi Total Profit: 275,043 Kumos Maybel Total Profit: 334,579 (This is being generous, she asked for three items going for 100k in user shops (Buttwings) but I used items from my vault. Profit would have only been 34,579 if I had bought those three items from user shops.) Kumos Librarian Total Profit: 281,439 Kumos Pete Total Profit: 387,918 Kumos Maleria Total Profit: 531,947 Kumos Mauve Total Profit: 208,412 Kumos Rumi Total Profit: 213,100 Kumos Wizard Total Profit: 40,411
Kumos All Quests Total Profit: 2,231,613
Legacy Saggi Quests Profit: 1,015,479 Legacy All Quests Total Profit: 3,169,822
The above numbers do not include items that you receive from the quests, but I don't consider those items day to day and frag most of them. Kumos Maleria appears to be the (somewhat) new Saggi, but even that profit doesn't come close to Legacy Saggi's profit. Kumos Saggi's profit is almost offensive right now. I think All That Glitters items are causing problems with Saggi's payout and they should be removed from the item pool if this can't be resolved any other way.

Questing layout being worked on right now: I don't like the new set up with only 2 items in a row. Speading EVERYTHING further apart again. However, "Give up" on the other side of the page is brill ;-)
Loving that this is still being worked on and especially that shops are now much faster to load, thanks Keith! Also loving that the page doesn't refresh/take you to a new page when attempting to buy an item you've maxed.
My suggestions:
Bugs and general issues:
Thanks for all your hard work! :)
Lol, 2 minutes after I post I get another bugged quest. :'(

The bottom items are from 2 quests ago and are hanging around The top items are from one quest ago and are also hanging around I turned in both successfully The issue persists despite multiple cache clears and persists on multiple devices Giving up the quest multiple times doesn't help Hasn't this happened to other people yet? It's happened to me at least 5 times and is highly irritating, especially as it then locks me out of all questing until it times out (by which time I am no longer playing)
Alexander has rich taste and now owns every single Lilac Lamp across the site. :(

Otherwise, this is looking great. I don't love the new item layout being only 2 across on the quest giver page, but it's functional enough. I also play at 80% zoom on a desktop monitor to avoid scrolling, yet I still have to scroll a lot of the time.
I'm also curious about the "Start a quest to begin your daily run and earn stackable bonuses!" bit! It looks like those aren't doing anything yet, but I'm keen to see what kind of bonuses come up in future.
Hunting for: (It's the only beanbag I need for a full collection!)
I saw some kind of a survey pop-up about our Kumos questing experience... I couldn't respond because part of the window took up my entire mobile screen and I couldn't reach the end of it despite scrolling down, sorry. Temporarily put my phone in computer display mode, but the pop-up never came back.
Survey looks good and worked on desktop, but triggered after one quest - would be good to trigger after a number of quests, or after each quest chain to give specific feedback about different quest chains.
UI looks really clean!
I find Fairies or seasonal items rewards motivating to complete quests.
Sticker Quests were difficult to complete today - gave up on 3 out of 5. This might be because of expanded item pool.
The problem items were: [Item=What Day is It Sticker] A Cash Shop Loyalty Item priced at 12.85 million SP. [Item=Beautiful Ride Sticker] A Neugarten Item [Item=Orange Hearty Sticker] A retired sticker priced around 7.5 million SP.
Getting an Item not Found error when mousing over certain quest item rewards.
[Item=Shortbread Pup Cookie] [Item=Scruffles]

I don't like the quests asking for holiday items. Not in general, because they take so long to finish. On Kumos alone they cannot be completed, because
So for everybody that tedious copy Kumos paste Subeta game. I know, they'll eventually be moved over... But until then nobody should ask for holiday shop items.
Or am I missing something there?
All my Saggi quests were profitable today in spite of hardly anything stocking and many All that Glitters items. Still I'd like him to return to his higher payout.
The original idea that Keith introduced at Kumos quests' beginning was, that we'd save time questing with less quests giving higher profit, to match our Subeta income. From his last post, he is no longer happy with that plan and wants less sP generated?! Not a happy future...
Maybe unrelated to quests, yet: I've just noticed, that on account search/book read to all pets are mixed up and not in the order they should be.
Great data! Hopefully this information can be used to tweak the item pool, since both of us had to give up on quests due to certain items. I'm going to borrow your formatting, if you don't mind. I am only providing a breakdown of each Kumos Saggi quest at this time, because I feel his numbers have taking a nosedive recently.

Thoughts: Legacy Quests are much better about pulling from a bigger item pool. They almost never ask for expensive items, so I never have to give up on them. It's a regular occurrence that I must give up Kumos Quests due to high item costs. This tells me the item pool needs some attention. I would prefer Kumos Quest profits at least match Legacy Quest profits. CSC has already been reduced from our daily average from Morty Cards. I do not think our sP rewards should be reduced as well. Saggi is expected to give nice sP rewards, but the profits are not very good from Kumos Saggi. My total profit today from Kumos Saggi was -633,859 less than Legacy Saggi. Not too long ago Kumos Saggi was paying out well.

First time I did these in awhile. It's still about as fun as calling a company's customer service line. Everything is incredibly slow: from the page loads to buy items, to still being sent to the NPC's shop after buying an item which serves no purpose, to finally getting to push the complete quest button waiting for it to register and take me back to the quest giver page. All of it is god awful slow. I made a ton of sp and items and some how it still doesn't feel worth it because the quest process is agonizing.
While he is no longer repeatedly asking for the same item, and that is a relief, his quests are not profitable and even cost SP to do. I don't believe in taking a loss when doing quests.
I was asked for on all five of my Sticker quests. I had to cancel them all because that would have cost me 10mil.
Like , I had to give up all five of Rumi's quests because at a price of nearly 2mil was requested every time.

Thoughts: Kumos Quest givers continue to request items that will make the quest a significant loss. The item pool needs to be adjusted and expanded. I agree with about the experience on Kumos. While it has improved, it's still too slow and clunky. I don't know anything about coding, but I think there's something much heavier in the loading of Kumos pages than Legacy. Hopefully a source of that issue can be identified to bring us a seamless browsing experience in the future. Current Kumos Saggi is still far behind Legacy Saggi in terms of profits.

Whenever Maybel asks for Buttwings, the quest always claims it to be in stock, when it hasn't for weeks.
All my Saggi quests paid 150 to 250 k with exception of 1 with only 75 k. Tha latter would have been a 60k loss, had I not drawn the item from my stash, so it was just barely even.
Sticker Resistance also asked me for My Love Sticker r82, 2mio sP in shops and a Steamworks Sticker (600k in user shop). He paid 195,290 sP.
Then Zombie Den items.
Today's notes from questing on Kumos:
Really laggy today.
Maybel has been asking for a lot lately. The quest page always says it's in stock in the NPC shop but it never is. Getting inflated from so many requests.
All five Pete quests asked for which was only available in usershops for 160k so I had to cancel them all.
(Somewhat related - thank you so much for moving the "Give up" button to the other side of the screen! That's a HUGE improvement!)
For the last couple days, Rumi has been asking for which is almost 2 million, so that's a nope. She asked for it on four out of five quests today.
Got ripped off by Saggi pretty badly today, with two quests only paying 75k (not enough to cover costs), two quests paying almost exactly 100k (barely covered costs) and one quest I couldn't do because he asked for something worth 1 million. He's easily the worst questgiver now.
I just noticed this text at the top when I quit one of Rumi's quests:
I don't know if these bonuses are active yet or how significant they'll be, but it feels really unfair to lose this streak when we're offered so many impossible quests. It's not like I'm not TRYING to do my quests. :(
Wizard quests finally feel worthwhile. No issues with items requested, good rewards.
Total profit from all quests: 2,266,132 (not very good in my opinion... far from what I usually make on Legacy)
