Yeah, tonight the Kumos quests instantly "run out of time" and fail as soon as you click start. I tried twice with Maybel and once with Maleria.

Had the same issue with Maleria, she finally, after over an hour and a half, gave in and asked for "Open Purple Cardi" as the third item, lol! Not complaining, I guess she was chilly? But I found it kinda funny.

Maleria has been unquestable for me every single day, tried several times throughout all days.

11/4/25 Bits and Bytes just like Spells Galore on the quest page sometimes claims having items in the NPC shop, while they don't (in spite of waiting a little and refreshing the quest page, to make sure it's not yet updated, because someone else may have bout it). It's normal rarity items, which both shops no longer stock.

For the first time in long I could do all of Maleria's quests again today - and with an acceptable payout.

sigh Maleria's quests continue to suck. I had to skip all five tonight because she asked for things that cost more than she pays out. If it's not that, it's that error about not being able to find enough items that meet the quest requirements. Or it's the same boring request for the Hikei Lance and purple shoes and purple cupcake choker, which is somehow the best case scenario. :/

I’m seeing an error message on Maleria really often still, almost any time I try to quest her

Unable to start quest: Could not find enough available items that meet the quest requirements.

This error message means I (when I don’t have gold) almost never get the 5 CSC as I can’t do 21 quests.

Saggi asked 5/5 quests for three All That Glitters items. 3/5 gave 75k as a reward. I just quit the last 2. Normally, he gives way more than that for mixed item requests.

What's up with Saggitarius' quests? Nearly all my quests were losses.

I've noticed over the last few days that Kumos Pete keeps asking for and the quest page will show that it's in stock in the NPC shop but it never actually is when I go to purchase it. So I always have to go back to the user shop search and get it from there. He asks for it at least once a day I guess but I really noticed it tonight because he requested it on four out of five quests. Note that there are only five user shops with this item in stock and only two of them are reasonably priced for a "Really Common" rarity item and they have decent little hoards of them but they are shrinking. Pretty soon this is going to be another unobtainable common item because one quest just keeps asking for this one thing over and over and over and the NPC shop is broken.

Regarding Saggi, what I've noticed is that it seems like he pays out a LOT less whenever he asks for item(s) from any of the shops with higher base prices. The most obvious and frequent example has been All That Glitters but I've seen it with Apocalyptic Apothecary items too. Bit backwards, innit?

More and more shops claim to have quest items in stock, when they haven't (still after waiting a good while and refreshing multiple times) - not only the weird never correctly restocking Spells Galore and Bits and Bytes...

Yep, having the same experience with , and items from Spells Galore and Bits and Bytes (besides a few specific rare items that do continue to restock). I wonder if they're being blocked from stocking - perhaps by Keith's idea to stop items stocking for a period after they haven't been bought in a while? Doesn't seem like it's working properly if this is the result.

I did mention this in the item effects topic, but I wanted to mention it here as well. Active effects - for example, my 30% discount card that I have active as an account effect - does not apply when directed to purchased items from NPC shops during quests. If I go to the main shop and find that item, then it will apply but not when directed right to the item purchase page.

Separate but also worthwhile to note, the Sagittarius quests today. Do not seem to be giving the right reward multiplier. Though this could just be small sample size on my end, not sure.

Enough lost for today, I'm not doing more of his quests.

He's still missing the Base quest reward, though he has been paying out nicely (400-500k for the most part) all along.

And I still think, that the NPC reputation bonus after more than half a year and at Maximum Level is a a crying shame, not even worth mentioning!

edit. 12.01 Pete keeps asking for Toaster Pastry, the quest window for weeks stubbornly insists that it is stocking at the Bake Stop, which it never is.

As said before, this occurs more and more often with various items.

Also Kumos claims, we can't do 2 quests at once - esp. when lagging, or for other reasons I will do 2 quest givers simultaneously on Subeta...

Saggitarius is once again greedy today - not underpaying but barely reimbursing costs - 100k for 80k, 150k for 130k spent. Also seems to be solely asking for All that Glitters again.

edit: he changed his mind, soon after I had posted. Paying o.k. (300k) and asking from various shops... go figure, lol ...

This just keeps happening over and over, quests fixate on one item and drive up the price too high. I really wish this could get sorted out.

You're right though, it's really odd how they get stuck asking for certain items. It seems to cycle through items occasionally, like was requested for awhile by Mauve and by Pete, but not anymore. I wonder what causes that.

Possibly more of a lag issue than anything else, but the last few days I've had Cloudflare errors when trying to complete / submit my quests. Only clicking 'Give Up' works, which is a bummer when I've already purchased all the items.

First time I've encountered this bug: I have a Wizard Quest -- asking for Monks Hood and Sea Salt. I've turned it in, and collected the reward, but can't start a new quest. The timer for the quest I've completed is still continuing. I can resubmit the items and collect another reward for the same quest, and the quest timer is still counting down and won't let me begin a new quest.

Saggi's Payout again broken - is this happening on mostly Mondays after Weekend? Also unlike all along for the last week only a minority of the quest items purchasable in NPC shops - on purpose?
