Could not find a Centropolis Pigeon, even after hundreds of refreshes all over Centropolis. I had to get one from my gallery to show her so I can move on. I wasted 10-20 minutes searching for nothing on a known problem. smh

yeah this is absolutely still a problem and unless you already own the bird or can find someone to lend you the bird, or hope that it's affordable in the shops, without a give up button you'll be stuck waiting for a bird that will never show up forever, totally taking bird watching out for you entirely.

I have been searching for every day since bird watching was brought back, and it has NEVER appeared. It's too expensive for me to justify buying it, so I guess I'm just resigned to sitting this one out 😢

I thought the issue had been rectified until I was tasked with finding the Omen Islands Gannet but after many refreshes at Omen Islands as well as other places that stoopid bird hasn't shown its dorky face yet!

Centropolis Pigeon is not showing up either.

Centropolis Pigeon again. I am really disappointed that I am not able to participate in bird watching. I'll be glad when it is over so it can stop rubbing it in my face about how I cannot participate.

I keep getting the Veta Plover and I have searched all over Veta Lake and that bird is nowhere to be found at least not for me anyway. Thank goodness I already own some and I just use one of them and it's accepted and I can move on and not have to worry about searching for the elusive bird anymore.

I got the Darkside Kite yesterday and it still hasn't shown up :/ Boooo

3rd day in a row of not being able to participate. Today's request? Darkside Kite I am soooo disappointed.

I just wish staff would actually openly talk about this. Seems like every other bug I've seen gets brought up and resolved.. why not these freaking birds?

I absolutely agree with this. Every other event, and to be honest, Masquerade comes to mind with the bugged dancing features at first; we've had very prompt responses in light of those events. I find it frustrating that no one on staff has even acknowledged anything about it.

Even if they didn't have a fix or know what to do, a simple "Hey, we understand the frustration. We're aware of the issue." would mitigate a lot of the negative feelings surrounding what should be a fun event/game. With bird watching reopening back on Aug 8th, I feel like it's been more than long enough to address that it's clearly bugged.

4 days now without finding Shadowglen Dove . Can't even cancel this

i still need the achievement for finding all of the regional birds (as i think this event must have been added while i was inactive for like a decade, lol) so this bug is really a pain :B i would like to know if it'll be fixed or if i'm just meant to buy the birds/get a loan before the birdwatching period ends, ideally!

i appreciate it's not impossible to complete the achievement while the game's bugged in this specific way, but it does kind of defeat the point and i usually prefer to be able to do them 'on my own' as it were.

I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one with this problem, but it's a shame this hasn't been fixed, or even addressed by a staff member. But maybe users helping users out was part of the plan?

That said, I have all of them from previous years so if someone is stuck I'm happy to lend!

If it was part of the plan, it's a terrible plan. As a pretty new user, I would like to be able to achieve and obtain things on my own and permanently. It's not like completing the bird watching quests even gets you anything besides the minion itself, so borrowing isn't something I even want to bother doing.
